The corner pockets on the rug are for weights. There are triangular ones that you slip into the rug's corners so they don't curl up and become a tripping hazard.

I have a couple of washable rugs and they both have the corner triangles. There is a velcro backing that underlays the rugs. The rug is washable but the backing is not.

The Japanese tea set. The one with the long spout is for the loose leaf tea. As it sits it gets stronger so hot water in the other pot will make a second pot of tea.

My best friend whom passed away last year from cancer had a leather covered desk similar to the one here but it was much darker and over 100 yrs old. She wanted to leave it to me but she lost her battle after I had moved to another state. That one you sowed here reminded me of my sweet friend and although I teared up more importantly it brought back memories I’ll always cherish. Thank you Dani.😊
How to make lemonade : lemon juice, sugar and water. oh ya a pinch of salt. the salt does magical things. Start with 1/2 juice and 1 cup sugar and 2 quart of water. Taste, probably need more of something. Pour over ice and enjoy. Great show today. loved the wood items. Luvs and hugs. 🥰

You can clean your silk greenery in the tub or spray them off in the back yard and just let dry. 😀

Hi Dani. The runner is a Ruggable. It has an insert which keeps it from slipping on the floor. You may have to order one from Ruggable. They are wonderful. Just throw it in the washer/dryer to clean. I have one and love it. Great find!
Silk plants can be washed. Swish around in soapy water , then clear water. Air dry.
The other pot on your little teapot/tray etc. is for hot water. It's gorgeous!

I was thinking coffee for short spout n tea for longer spout! Lol just an extra teapot that holds hot water n u bring tea bags or u just add hot water in your tea if too strong or cold??
Hi Robin. The extra pot of hot water is there because the tea pot itself is sooo small. When the first cup., or cups of tea are poured, the hot water is used to fill up the little pot of tea. Hope that helps. Many of the old silver tea services had an extra hot water container for the same reason.

To clean silk and fake flowers, put them in a large paper bag with clean sand and shake the bag. Most dust will dislodge

I think the pot with the short spout is for hot water to refill the teapot. That's what I've been told.
You can wash the ivy or other cloth flowers under the shower and hang them out to dry. Cheaper and it’s better to reuse than buy new.

You can just wash that IV off in the sink with a sprayer from your kitchen faucet. It works great. I do it all the time then let it dry before you put it where it’s supposed to go.
those coasters are engravable in the center. we used to sell them at things remembered. Popular gift.
Washable rugs have those cornors to put the non slip mat that comes with them
The rug is a Ruggables. They come with an under rug mat that the corners slip on to.
Then you can wash the top and mat separately they stick together like Velcro
for fake flowers or fake ivy, put in a brown paper bag pour salt in there and shake it will clean the fake flowers and plants.

that lamp is campy and it could of gone outside under your patio! when you hang out there...oh my God, such a fine...you can make that area into a florida room and when you can put up some in expensive windows or make one one those rooms like they do in florida...DANNI put on your thinking cap!

I hand wash faux floral plants. Dawn detergent then rinse and leave outside for 15 minutes.

Hi Danni- The image on the pocket watch you looked at is Mao Zedong, who was chairman of the Chinese Communist Party from 1949-1976. There are watches and alarm clocks, too. I saw a Chairman Mao alarm clock in Shanghai about 20 years ago. What I remember most about the clock is it had the coolest second hand--a jet plane with its contrail!
I have a huge collection of those brass frogs all doing different things. Mine have a nice patina on them though. I love them.
The pockets are to add weights to help rug stay in place.

Our Goodwill's seem to have finally given up on upcharging for Vera Bradley. People stopped buying it since resell wise the prices have pretty much dropped out. Purses here are generally 4.99 to 5.99 but they were trying to charge 15 to 20. No go.
The Schylling company carries lots of tin repros and just a ton of fun stuff! That Egyptian piece could be neat with a smaller sphere on the bottom and the giantoid one on top!! The rug corners might be to prevent corner curl and tripping!

I like the wooden orb. Tons of things to plant now. Look at cole crops. Do you eat salad. Perfwct time for lettuces. How chilly do your nights get? Can plant fruit in fall, but do you have chill hrs? Use stevia.

Hi. Whenever I find something with a stain on a table runners, place mats ..., I use a little bit of Resolve or Shout and brush the stain with a toothbrush. Like Magic !!!!!!!!!!!!

That rug maybe a ruggables. Those are able to connect to some type of bottom rug that makes them unflip every and you can pull them off and wash them. That is a great price of 7.99 because those things are expensive
