Noah found an antique scale and I found Anthropologie plates! It's amazing these items were both at the same Goodwill store just waiting to be found! Noah is my 16 year old son who loves to go thrifting with his mom. We search this Las Vegas Goodwill together to find items for resale.

another seller collects the pipe stands and puts vials in them to root starters (plants). They look really awesome. Just an idea for anyone wondering what else to use them for. I find it endearing that you give things a little pat when you put them back on the shelf. So sweet

Noah, if you want an easy pizza to make at home. I make myself a personal pizza using naan bread. Just put on your favorite toppings and bake a few minutes until the toppings are done.
You make me so happy watching your videos. You are a fantastic mom to your beautiful children.

That wooden thing is a Sourkrout maker. It smashes the cabbage to death to take out all the water before you add the vinegar. Costs about $30. Handmade in Arkansas.
Coincidentally, Flying Pig Thrifts featured a Sauerkraut maker today.
My town has a sauerkraut festival.

The Big Hug mug was used in “True Detective” which was a series on HBO…Matthew McConaughey’s character used one. I bought a vintage one (made in Korea) in late October of last year for $1 and sold it on Poshmark in early January for $30…comps were higher at that time so interesting to see that they’ve come down quite a bit.

Love shopping with Noah. Reminds me of shopping with my son when he was young( he is 45 now and lives in Cincinnati). But when I visited him last we went to thrift stores. Sons are the best 😃😃😃😃😃

Noah, start with a bought pizza dough. Add your sauce, cheese and other goodies. A good way to start. Making homemade dough can come later. Glad to see you with your momma and with a new haircut. Love watching you get shop done!
Agreed 👍 and use a baking stone. They really make a difference with the crust. 🍕
At Trader Joe’s, you can buy a ball of pizza dough in the refrigerated section near the fancy cheeses. TJ’s also sells little bottles of pizza sauce. (Pizza sauce is more concentrated than spaghetti sauce.)
If you have an Italian store around you, they usually sell dough dough is kind of a hard thing to make to get it right but if you do have a Italian market or store around you go there and they’ll send you enough dough to make one pizza two pizzas or 10 pizzas doesn’t matter then you add your own stuff I have done it 1 billion times works great I just can’t get the dog quite right so that’s why I buy it so Noah go buy some doll and make some pizza

I believe the round box with the rubber band that Dani set aside at min 21:50 is a set of vintage Otagiri coasters. Some of them can go for $20+, depending on age and subject matter.

@@bernadettebockis4120 They're pretty easy to overlook because they're plastic. I got lucky because I was nosy and wanted to see what was rattling inside, then I noticed the quality of the coaster set and turned it over abd saw the Otagiri mark. They're large coasters and have the same pretty pattern as the box lid. Mine are birds. I didn't know Otagiri made plastics. Mine are early 80s.
Started watching your videos for about a month now. It's like me shopping for treasures when I cannot get out. Also very educational. We use those irons for door stops at my moms house growing up…. Oh and I was at GW this week and was so excited to find sterling silver on the shelf for $2 bucks-it was a Fisher Jack Shepard sauce boat . Thanks to watching and learning from watching your videos I looked really close at the stuff I was picking up

Noah needs a plain ole cookbook that explains all the appliances and gadgets the art of cooking would be a good one or betty Crocker. And maybe get him a appliance that is interchange like a toaster over that does toast pizza bake convection and so on!
I'm impressed. Noah's getting a pretty good eye for things. Learning from his mama😉. The little quirky wood bird and the scale were good pick ups. I always enjoy when he goes along with you. It's nice to have someone to bounce ideas off as well as those extra pair of eyes to see any flaws. My sister is as bad as me when we go. Instead of keeping each other in check, we are always talking each other into getting things🙄
that fancy jewelry box looks like it was for cuff links when men wore cuff links .My dad worked for pepsi cola back in the 60's and he had to wear a suit , tie , cuff links and polished shoes . He worked in the ad dept and his big deal was he met Joan Crawford when she took over pepsi from her late husband albert steele .
The rolling pin looking wood thing is for making sauerkraut. It's to smash the cabbage down into the crock.

Aww I would have bought those teacher's alphabet cards from you! They are from a special curriculum I uses to teach in kindergarten. I'm going to be teaching my daughter that curriculum in a few years.

you are right it is not a rolling pin. It is used to make sourkroute, to mash cabbage in wide mouth jars to squeeze the liquid out of cabbage.

You have such good things at your Goodwill stores there....ours are crappy....the things are worn out... occasionally you will find something good but not very often. We get good clothes though.Good shopping.

We use ours all the time too! I prefer cooking on the stove.

@The NICHE Lady I am now in month SEVEN of the illness- the same kind of illness that Kari has...I still have breathing problems-- and also I have other residual medical problems now- that I did not have prior to this illness...I was in ICU for 3 weeks in Sept/Oct of last year...This illness can be very very serious Danni...I do hope that Kari doesn't have the exact same strain as me...Hopefully she will get well soon...🍃🌻🌿...🐦...🙏💜
