that just shows how sad we are as people just cause we see a singer or hollywood star wearing something we will say OMG he or she is wearing it now i want to buy one and wear it so bad, its almost like we treat famous people like gods but they are no more better than we are
When my daughter was little, one of my gigs used to be looking through thrift stores and yard sales for sharp business wear, wool, linen, blends, etc. I had a dry cleaning kit, stain kits, and a steamer beside the washer/dryer. My hand darning/needlework is pretty good. I have not researched what is good now; however, I may begin to do that type of thing again. A LOT of items just needed a button and some proper maintenance to look brand new.
You're correct that Champion Eco is not a vintage tag. It's their Eco friendly line. Something I've learned that I find helpful is that any tag that references sustainability is going to be newer.
On road trips, I like to check out bins along the way. You never know you might discover a great source, one that you may pass again. I already have a few bin locations on my road trip must stops. I go right through KC at least twice a year if not more, so I will be checking it out. I like to take some chances on items that look interesting and could have value. You don't need every single one of them to hit. In fact, if every one hits, you are NOT taking enough chances. I keep a small budget for such flyers. As long as the price is low, I consider buying.
Hello kitty IS a bolo. I found 5 bags of vintage hello kitty and Chococat stickers and key toppers about 90 pieces. I paid $12. I’ve sold just the key toppers for $16 EACH. And a single bag of stickers for $7. You can still find items at the goodwill
I've been 2nd hand shopping since my early teens. Top quality clothes for a few dollars. Not to mention all the other interesting things one can come across, along the way.
*W@$$UP!!* That's one thing at the Bins you never know what you'll come across. That's the exciting part finding something everybody missed and that was a big miss on those hangers.
Hello! I love your channel! I’m curious about how you’re doing selling the hangers? I picked a bunch up shortly after I saw this and there they sit on 3 platforms, not moving!
Every item I sell is a 'long tail' item because of how high I price most everything. I still have the hangers, and they will sell eventually (I've declined all the offers I have received on them so far) - but I can wait YEARS if I wish before I sell them all.
I go quite a few times and it's very difficult to find good clothing without stains or tears. I mainly go for shoes because they're only $2.50 each, but finding a pair that match there can be really tricky because they're often separated in different bins 😂
It got to a point where it was so bad one day thrifting for clothes that I started selling everything. Glassware books shoes toys large items bites furniture. if I think I can flip it and make a dollar I buy it
Great video, thanks! Someone might have mentioned it already but I think the ChampionECO is pronounced ee-ko, as in eco-friendly, renewable, recycled fibers as opposed to “echo”. Cheers!
It's funny how our mindset changes after we get that first sale. I'm constantly looking at things in my house or closet or the store and looking up the comps of EVERYTHING😂
great job finding stuff at the Goodwill there, do you resell them online or have an actual store? also could this be a full time gig or is it a side income? Thanks
Have you ever gone home from the bins empty handed? What kind of bag or box do you recommend? Do you put it at your feet? Is it always worth the trip? Do you look the items over again before you buy?
If I get there at open, no. Never empty handed. I've walked in and out within 15 minutes or so during a singe mid day trip maybe once. The blue Ikea bags work great if you don't want to bother with carts. When I go to the bins its always worth the trip because I make sure I get paid for every store I walk into (by getting inventory I know will eventually sell). I look over most items but I definitely don't inspect every singe thing every single time with a fine tooth comb.
This was awesome!! I’ve only been to the bins once in Nashville on vacation so it was super fun watching your footage. Yard sales are my favorite place to source but I do wish I had a bins close to me…I do admit! Nice hangers!! Thanks for sharing✌️
I own that same Eddie Bauer coat in navy. It is very comfortable! Is this the Brice Rd Outlet? I go to that one when I come from Dayton to Columbus to visit my daughter but don't find much in the hard goods. It is about half the size of our bins in Dayton. We have less clothes bins and about 4 X the amount of hard good bins, which they switch out every half hour. I have heard that the Bins in/near Indianapolis are really good.
Hi your video just popped up in my feed, probably because I watch Hairy Tornado a lot. I was just curious, why are you passing up the Nautica and Under Armour shirts? Thanks...
Modell is a sporting goods store. I don't like those thick hangers, they take up so much room in my closet! I'm sure I've tossed some, didn't even think anyone would want them in a donation bin!
Hi, I stumbled on your channel because I'm going to start reselling my thrift finds in 2023. How do people pay you for your posted items and what's the best selling platform to use? Merry Christmas to you and your family.
I sell primarily on eBay and eBay handles all of the payment processing. I find them the best by virtue of their size alone (excluding Amazon as I no longer sell through them). Other platforms like Poshmark, Mercari etc are all valid places to sell but they are miniscule compared to the amount of active buyers on eBay. Merry Christmas!!
Love that you plan to have your daughter wear the Hello Kitty dress first.. The Hangars are great.. I bought lesser quality & the metal piece came off the wood.. Those are much better Quality.. Hope they sell well..
I found brand new sundresses. I purchased $150 of them. They were either pink or green. And I told him for $20 each one I was in living in California. I spent a total of $295 a day on the toys the clothes the shoes the books the records. I sold all of those dresses except nine. And this summer I'll probably finish the rest of the dresses.
Great idea. I'm sure they could supply you with as much clothing and other stuff as you could handle . Probably would not be to hard for them to fill up a couple thousand shipping containers per year and ship it somewhere that could use it.. I would estimate that only about 20% of the stuff that goes to the bins is sold, the rest goes to the dump (landfill). Maybe speak with your local government to see if it's possible. Goodluck to you 👍
I'm watching this 4 weeks after lol.! and then this is top for Boys Input / Google so I would have put up a bunch of signs/like. then all that but I didn't cuz I'm too lazy to type slash I was going to say since I'm too lazy to type.
Wow! I recently bought hangers at a thrift store not thinking much wooden hangers at that. Such as L.L. Bean and so on. I didn’t know that they were worth money! Great to know and keep an eye out for. Also, do you hold your camera or have something holding your cam when recording! New subscriber here. :)

So 👍 true. I just like what I like.

Spray & wash works wonders on stains. You have to let it set an hour or so before washing.
i always think a murder of crows when i see the way people pick of those bins
I have honestly never thought to look up wooden hangers before...now I will 🙃
They’re so much better for your clothes than the plastic ones.

as Napoleon dynomite would say LUCKY!
Love your videos. You are straight to the point on everything and you give so much useful information!
What a great find! I love thinking outside the box like this!
I just take any offer most of the time, because I get things so cheap, I feel I am lucky to sell anything at all in such a saturated market.
Never knew those hangers were valuable. Thanks for the information!
I've been 2nd hand shopping since my early teens. Top quality clothes for a few dollars. Not to mention all the other interesting things one can come across, along the way.
I have never seen to a goodwill that had bins for you to dig through.
OMG you did it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations Brendon ❤️. Oh man. I'm in tears! So freaking happy for you!!!!
I'm just getting into selling clothes so I appreciate your explanations on what you're looking for and why.
It really helps! I'm constantly listening to these videos while I clean the house, making coffee, driving etc. You pick up so many tips this way!
I love Eddie Bauer. It usually washes up really well and lasts well.

Ain't that the truth. It's always something new!
Not washed? What if some of them have bed bugs!?
I work at a goodwill bins and people r crazy. People show up at 6am to make line and the store does not open until 9am.

I had no clue about the hangers! Wow!
They just opened a bin store close to me where the prices go down everyday and then they restock on friday.
It got to a point where it was so bad one day thrifting for clothes that I started selling everything. Glassware books shoes toys large items bites furniture. if I think I can flip it and make a dollar I buy it
Yeah, let's tell even more people about the Goodwill. Thanks
Hi how will u ship those hangers? Bu bble mailer? And how to ship a bat?.
Bat: triple boxed using 3 11x11x8 boxes and bubble wrap. Hangers 2 USPS priority boxes sized 15x8x6 doubled up with bubble wrap

Are the items all the same price
Pay by the pound at $1.89 per pound unless they price an item specifically for you on the spot
Almost to 10k…9.9! I enjoy your channel. Nice finds! Do you find there’s a better day or time to shop the bins?
I find in the bins locations that I frequent they are more aggressive rotating the bins in the mornings.
Whoa a star for the hangers!

Yes! Please make a video of how to set up on eBay for new resellers.
It was a goodwill bin store in Portland Oregon when I found all my dresses. Everybody was just bypassing them
Crazy that bins in US 😁 but its amazing that guy can find good clothes😁 Greets from The Netherlands

I don't get it...where does the clothes at the bins come from?? I thought they were store rejects? But I see there's great stuff!!
Store rejects and trucks ordered specifically for the purpose of filling the bins

Interesting Hello Kitty BOLO
Wooden hangers??? Who knew?
Why don't they hang up the.clothes at goodwill?
It's the goodwill bins, it's the scrap from the goodwill stores.
No time to put on display again, it's the last stop before the landfills.
They do in the main store. The bins are highly discounted (ours charges for clothing by the pound vs item)
Hangers? I'll be looking now! 😄😄
I’vee sold 10 pair of Kuhl jeans in the last year.
I would have grabbed the coat at the bins as well. I had no idea about the coat hangers. Thanks for the great tip!
Rubbing alcohol, a toothbrush, and a little bit elbow grease takes paint right out of clothing:)
