That vase with the heart shaped opening looks like a yarn holder; keep the yarn from tangling. So excited for you and your new channel. Some spectacular items in that trip
I want to thank you for making all your videos !! I used to be able to shop in my old city and it was a joy and a hobby for me. I had an accident that left me pretty much disabled and now live in a very small town that is extremely limited in shops and not disabled friendly. Anyway watching you shop fills a void in my heart just to feel like that means more to me than I can say. Its a "looking bug" though as I have an abundance of all the things. I doubt that I am the only person that feels this way so please dont stop making these cool videos for all the good reasons !!!
I didn't read all the comments, but I didn't see this addressed. The deep blue "planter" that you bought is actually designed to hold balls of yarn for people who knit or crochet. These bowls are awesome for crafty people who live with cats!
I dont think that red jewelry set w wood and bakelite is mid century or bakelite. With the chains in between...it looks more modern and the clasp i feel gives it away. To me from viewing it thru video form it looks new to me. I could be wrong and maybe they used that clasp a long time ago.... but my first instincts says it doesnt look old. Did u find out anything more in your research? ✌️
What a great sale!!! You picked up some very nice things! I love, love the lighted tree for the wall! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a hat with an attached scarf… so cute!
I always hope the resellers that buy something cheap when negotiating a price at the flea market, give a fair price. I once sold a human body science map to people I considered friends, they could only give me $60 and the next day , posted it for $350 and sold it immediately. I felt very betrayed. If I find something gravely undervalued at a garage sale or flea market, I will give them a more fair price, knowing I can still make considerable money.
You have to understand this is a business, if something has a value why would you cheat yourself out of that value? Everyone has the opportunity to research values before offering something at a certain price.
@@TheNICHELady perfectly said. Totally agree!!! Not everybody has the money to give more money to people either. So all depends on where you are in life and if yr struggling or not.
They probably was taking a chance that it was worth something. Could you be out of $60 if it wasn't worth but $10? Its all a gamble. Something you are sure of, could dropped in price. Most of the time things take a while to sell. They are probably thinking to themselves that they had the wrong price and should have sold it higher. Its not a simple science.
I had the best time watching you look through all those treasures and picking ones you loved. There were so many beautiful things, weren’t there? I’ve been a jewelry girl since I was five, and I even have to have rings on that match my pajamas! 😂
Short story and true. This lady was tell me she was about to lose her house . Yes she was working but she just coudnt make the mortgage. I had real pretty neckless with a diamond. I new it was worth something. And i just took it off and gave it to her. Years later i saw her working at a store. I asked het how she was doing and of course if she lost her house. She was happt to see me and to thank me because of that diamond i gave she paid her house. I felt so happy for her. Moral of a story to me was happy she paid her home.
The Spanish dishes are beautiful, quite expensive in Spain! Then you have the hassle of packing them in your suitcase and not going over weight on your bags. Good job.
I've always called the dark rhinestones "sick" stones. When I dealt invintage jewelry I would actually replace them. I can tell that is not bakelite, but if you are going to branch out into jewery sales, learn how to breathe hot then rub on it. You will smell formaldehyde. Or better yet keep some Simichrome on hand.
When shopping at an antique mall, the good thing is things don't need to be rescued because the people have curated it vs. thrift stores where it may end up in the trash or broken at the GW bins.
I also love the jewelry. My Mother-in-law just pulled out 2 vintage jewelry boxes full of vintage jewelry for me to sell, that her mother had collected. Her mother has been gone 21 years. I'm procrastinating selling it because I like it so much.
I'm a new follower and really enjoy your videos. You are so friendly and down-to-earth. I'm learning about vintage/antique items as I watch. I do have a question. I never buy used pillows because you can't wash them. How do you sanitize/clean used pillows?
on screen, the embroidered stockings didn't appear antique. I used to do ribbon embroidery in the 90's. Plus I think I have seen like stockings in a Horchow catalog.
I have my mom’s china head dolls. They are so precious. I don’t know how old they are. My mom would be 101 now. I am 81 . I must show my girls. I don’t know if I ever showed them to my daughters. 🥰
Hi. Just want to give a friendly suggestion to check the white balance on your camera. Whenever you’re outdoors your footage has a blue tint to it which could be your white balance. Love your channel!!
That is awesome that door, I paint pinecones you turn them upside down and you have a zinnia, paint a basket full pretty and so much fun! Also rock painting with koi fish
Those little boxes that are banks… are made from old post office boxes . When I was little back in the 50’s we had a mail box just like that… our box number was 46. You had to turn the dial on the front to match your code before you could open the box to get your mail. Fond memories!
It's a kaleidoscope I have one. It's missing the scope. You view the spinning wheel through the scope and you can change out the little plates on the wheel to view the pretty colors while it spins..I paid 100$ for mine and would never sell it
Loved the video. I had those Federal glasses - 6 of them. I could not sell them. Finally gave up after a year and took to the auction house where they sold for about $15. ❤ JoAnn
The blue bowl is more than likely a yarn bowl. They are worth more than just a regular bowl of the same size. The nail head plaque is probably late 1970's/ early 1980's. Very popular in that time when everyone wanted the country look. Id see them at craft shows all the time. The ecru silk ribbon embroidery stocking looks very much like a Bucilla kit I sold from the 80's. It had a huge following for a few years. It is starting to pick up a tiny bit again but doubt it will be what it was back then. That is definitely an apple on apple leaves, not holly. Not sure its McCoy though.
I do believe that the piece you think may be bakelite is a piece from the 80’s/ early 90’s. I only say this because I used to work in retail at Macy’s and Contempo Casuals (remember that??). Anyway, hope I am not offending you…just my opinion.
I want to be there..i want to go to these parking lot big antique booth market and every one of your suggestion neat place sales...I want to meet the people I love like you on line at each place you live and go to your all stores and markets and not bug you all but some how take each person out to lunch or dinner and buy something special from each person. Love you guys and all the people who watch buy and love the treasure hunts and neat every day living hunts...peace and love and thank YOU. I so admire crafters too. Mom and now my sibs...let us just say I am not the one who got a sewing machine after mom passed...or knitting and crochet needles after my grandma....thanks for keeping the desire and happiness alive on all the learning...
People always think that Las Vegas is HOT. NO WAY!! WINTER temperatures go to freezing depending on the northern winds coming from Canada and Alaska. It can be very COLD in Vegas
I hope you looked thru all.the bagged jewlrey outside in the vases. It looked like u just lifted up what was on top ...and didnt go thru it all. If u didnt go thru it...Dawn wont be too happy with youuuuuuu ladyyyyyy lololol There could be real gold in there or dome old treasures! And qe as viewers are dying to see what was in there too! Lol! Their prices were dirt cheap outside so i deel like they might not be too knowledgeable on everything and there could be a treasure in there! ✌️

It definitely is a yarn bowl and they are always pricey! That was a steal!
Thank you for solving that mystery for me!

WOWZER on the Scaasi Earrings! More than a score~ a treasure

It’s a music 🎶 kaleidoscope missing parts!
That little white pitcher -- the style of painting on it is called rosemaling, a scandinavian style.

I think the difference is you wouldn’t do that to a friend. I certainly wouldn’t, business or not.
Laurie, you are a honorable person. Sadly these days not much of that anymore at least that’s what I see.

You found some amazing things but am in love with that beautiful winter tree window! That’s going to look great anywhere 😊
I believe that was part of a table top Kaleidoscope. It was missing the viewer.
The clothes you got thrifting with Dawn are fabulous.
The opening on the back of better pieces is so the light can show through the gemstone!
I think that the opening in the back behind the stones is to get the light in from the behind to make it sparkle more.
SNOW WHITE GROUP, GREAT FIND 🎉🎉😊 !!!😊😊
The square pin with the serpentine zjg zag silver tone, is SARAH COVENTRY. I recognize it from my mom's collection. She was a dealer back in the 60's
The opening in the back of brooches is for the light to go through, those are higher end pieces😊
Beautiful things but I heard the word "rescue" a few times.....uh oh.When they are in a store they don't need rescuing! But enjoy....
“Stuff” doesn’t need rescuing! I’ll never understand that. 🤷🏻♀️ But hey, keeps me from purchasing items I don’t need. 👍🏻
Wowzie, excellent prices. Love those prices.

Wow, what a haul. Amazing pieces. 😊
You need to show us the tree picture on your wall all lit up. 😊
The Spanish dishes are beautiful, quite expensive in Spain! Then you have the hassle of packing them in your suitcase and not going over weight on your bags. Good job.
I find pieces of "Parsly" here in Michigan all the time! I have also seen Joslin find in many times! I love it!!!
I can hardly wait for the jewelry..😁
I love the porcelain head dolls, they are beautiful! You found really beautiful items,Danni.👍🏼👌🏻🫶🏼
The banks you were looking at right around 30 minutes are made from old postal mailbox doors. People love them.
Ohhhh at the end u said u bought piles of jewlrey! Maybe u did go thru those vases!!!! Yayyyy!!! Cant wait!!!!!!

Do you mean you cheated people?
love those patchwork chairs. i would buy them in a heartbeat without a place to put them.
I am not into jewelery at all but I love the other finds.
When you went inside that one shop booth it had the most interesting beautiful things I’ve ever seen 💜 so grateful to have seen it via your video.
When shopping at an antique mall, the good thing is things don't need to be rescued because the people have curated it vs. thrift stores where it may end up in the trash or broken at the GW bins.
Big Haul. Loved the recap. Will look for the new network.

I heard you say “Bake lite “. It’s pronounced “ Bake a lite” I know you probably know that but it made me giggle

Danni, after all the great things you found in this video it makes me want to go shopping and I’m not a reseller.

Great items Danni.
Ps: Danni you can test Bakelite by rubbing it with/ your thumb for a good amount of time then smell it. You’ll know if it’s Bakelite asap
Hello at the table with the rhinestone airplane there was black VCA Alhambra… it’s copied a lot but I gasped as your camera went over it 👁️
Is the double lobster claw on the necklace so you can shorten the chain?
