Received the same heater this week. Planning to set it up and run it tomorrow. 👍
Thanks for taking the time and effort to do this review.. you covered everything i wanted to know..appreacite it and will be buying it through your link.
Hey thanks for the feedback!
Great review I'm sure many will appreciate the effort. Very good advice on the CO monitor, definitely worth getting a decent one.
This is best review of this heater I've seen on UA-cam
Thanks for watching!
Very good advice with the CO-warner🙂👍🏼Those heaters are available in Germany for about 150€ on Amazon/ebay, various brands, all from the same factory. My aunt got one to heat her gardenshed and it works fine. How do you handle the condensation inside the troopy behind the panels? I know, it's not that bad, as you're sleeping in the more ventilated tent,
but troopys tend to collect condensation behind the panels, and they like to rust😖
I sprayed mine behind the panels with linseed oil varnish (Ovatrol) to prevent that and will add ventilation mesh to the panels.

Sweet!... I've been waiting for this!!...
1 year review. It is great! Buy one! I run mine inside a very small space under a cupboard in my bus. The exhaust pipe, and the intake are mounted outside to a metal panel. The exhaust pipe gets warmer than the heat coming out of the heat exchanger sadly , but that is a topic for another day. Yes, use a radiator, or 2 inline to recoup lost heat!..... I use a simple 18$ power converter ac to dc, to charge the 200ah battery it runs from. The thermostat in these heaters is in the LED screen so Im told, the little hole under the panel. That's why I mounted it in the room to be heated. It pops off and has about 1foot of lead. So mine on the lowest heat setting, will never shut off. I had a lengthy back and forth with Vevor about this and they sent me a free unit. Not sure if the new unit does the same, but I can tell you the original unit does have an overheat and a low fuel automatic shut off. And a cool down cycle. I dont mind the cheap Chinese parts such as hangers, screws, etc. I rather they cut costs on those, and not the bones of the unit.
Can you adjust the fuel pump speed and fan speed?
Just bought one using your link, what accessories do you recommend? Also, are you able to change the pump and fan speed?
We recommend a Long dryer hose to pipe the hot air where its needed and a CO monitor for safety.
Why so inexpensive compared to eberspacher or webasto? Burner looks very similar to them but it's a fraction of the cost.
@@gorporpio the smaller details and materials are not as refined compared to some of the more expensive heaters resulting in a lower price. But the actual hearter core is the same
Hey your driver side marker light is hanging.. 😮
😅😆
Name of CO detector?
Honeywell BW Clip Series for CO monitoring
Hey Johannes. I see you connect to the power. Question 🙋🏻♂️ how much power does it draw during a night? Similar to a fridge? Could this maybe why your battery seemed flat the one day and not the cold? Just a thought 🤙.
Also how maybe litres is the units tank? I.e. litres per night.
on medium power it draws just less than 2 amps/hour! we use a 120 Ah deep cycle battery to power it so in theory is should be able to last about 30 hours if we only use half of the available battery life 😁
@@allterraintrails And the fuel consumption? i.e. per night?
You should look at either a Planer or a General Components diesel heater rather than a rebranded Chinese knock off that fail all the time
How didn’t I think of that? Good tip 👍🏼
5 and 8 are the same, don't be ridiculous, there are probably 100s of comments and tests on that. it's just a chinese scam
