My only problem with the anime is that this scene felt way to fast paced, the dialogue felt way too fast when akechi spoke and or rushed the part where he said "this is how your justice ends"

To be fair, Akechi was wearing gloves, so it would be much, much harder for his fingerprints to be lifted from the gun, _especially_ after it’s placed in Ren’s hand. Akechi probably goes out of his way to press a few of Ren’s fingers against the grip for a second as well, we just don’t see it.
Spoilers: I watched the anime before knowing anything about the game, and this is where the anime series ends. And the movie afterwards was so hard to find that I thought that he actually died, and that was the most shook I've ever been. It took me a full 24 hours to find the movies.
Idk, seeing blood rush down jokers face in the game was pretty graphic. The anime at least shows a shadow version of it but it does look more stylish in the anime

To everyone wondering, the anime version was animated by clover works, the studio responsible for the promised Netherland and unfortunately, season 2 as well. furthermore, the original game's anime cutscenes were animated by MAPPA, so finger crossed for a p5 royal adaption from them.

Yeah, she starts acting odd the moment Akechi joins and suggest attacking her sister's palace, the game even puts some emphasis on Makoto acting strange and sad while not wanting the others to know what was up with her while also implying that fighting against her sister wasn't the only thing in her mind making her doubt herself. Akechi betraying you really was suuuper obvious so i thought they would do some kind of twist where he was actually good and Makoto sold us out for her sister's sake (you know, maybe they blackmailed her with killing her or something), while Akechi knew this and played dumb to save Joker and defeat the corrupt police, then he appeared out of nowhere with an evil smile and, well, i was a little disappointed lmao

It's probably just the animation style, but between the two, the animation just doesn't have the impact. When it zooms up close to Akechi's face, the animation makes Akechi feel like a generic crazy character while the actual game makes him feel threatening.
Yes I agree. The anime does do some things slower though like having Akechi do the whole twirl thing to get the gun. Where Ren hits the table in the table in the animated version felt very slow almost like a feather had fallen, also in the animated version I feel like Ren just has a deadpan stare before he dies. Unlike the game where Akechi just grabs the gun, when Ren hits the table you really feel the impact and Ren actually looks scared. In my opinion if these things had been changed to be more like the game it would have been an overall better scene for the animated version.

I like the quality and how Ren gets killed in the game version more, but I also love the additional dialogue in the Anime.
