So glad you enjoyed this one Don. I have been meaning to make this video for a while, since so many said their favourite move wasn't included in the previous top 10! Of course I LOVE nearly all the moves 😁 Hope you had a little dance along with me this time.
Great to dance again. Was heading for my silver medal choreographers medal, and class closed. Haven’t done the jewel before. Hadn’t realised I’d let myself stiffen up so much ! Really enjoyed working through the moves again.
Thank You !!! MUCH Love… This is FUN…!!! These People that Are Critiquing You Are Obviously JEALOUS FOOLS…!!!! There are MANY aspects of Belly Dance… We Make it Our Own…!!!
When I attended Jodette’s Belly Dance classes , she said at some time we would have to create and make our own costumes. Do you have any suggestions for where they might be purchased ? 24:36
I spent a few months out of my daily practices and this class was so helpful to remind me of my basics which are the base to it all. Thank you so much for such a fun through class and great energy. Blessings
Welcome back to belly dance!! So glad you enjoyed this one. I’ve got many videos to help practise and get back into dance, so I hope you find some you like to reignite your love of the art form 😀
The only move that I hadn't included in my classes is the egyptian arms how you do it - I usually just do wrist circles and don't keep the fingers up lol - I'll have to see it slower I think - it looks like each hand is doing a figure 8 = very nice - I might include rib slides and rib circles as more essential moves - thanks for the great video and workout sess.
Thank you for a great lesson and a great workout! Most of these moves I was familiar with either from my brief spate taking irl classes or from your hour-long beginner's workout, but a few of them were new! Oriental arms were new to me and are a real mental challenge, but I got there in the end. Jewels and belly flutters were too advanced for me, I think I'm gonna practice the fundamentals a while longer before I try those again xD
Great work Megan! Yes, that's one thing I love about belly dancing - it challenges every aspect like no other! Mentally, coordination, emotions...and of course physically 😁 So glad you liked the lesson and workout.
I’ll need a lot of practice a little at a time before I can be classified as good as bad. But burned 117 calories today fallowing your guidance and got my cardio 👍up👍. As well the stretching is very mobilizing. Thanks, I’ll be back tomorrow, and the day after, like I was…, yesterday and the day before. Thank you so much.
All the move is so nice and beautiful my favorite move is Egyptian walk and jewels. Now I'm learning all the move from your vedio. Thank you so much...
The choo choo shimmy is very hard work on the calves, balance, speed and legs. Is there a particular aspect of it with which you struggle? There might be certain things you can do to help it.
@@ahmedfawzy5917 Ah, it might be best to ask a teacher in person if you can, then they can watch how you do it. But if you are feeling very heavy, and it is hard to lift your feet, it might be your ankle and calf strength. Can you stand on one leg up on tip toes? First try it holding onto something. If you feel like you are wobbling, this might be the key!
Thanks for the feedback! Is there a specific move in particular that was hard to see? This video is brief tutorials on each, but I might have a more in-depth one if there are any moves you want to really master.
😇Let's pray, friends. May Allah send Hz. Mahdi (as) and Hazrat. May Allah reveal the Prophet Jesus ⏳ We will experience the Golden Age very soon. Love, peace, brotherhood, friendship, wealth, freedom, art, chastity, cleanliness, beauty, goodness, quality, comfort and trust will prevail all over the world. ✨👑💜 Women will be highly valued, racism and colonialism will be completely eliminated; A wonderful world is coming where goodness and love prevail. Good news to all of us 😌🙏😍
@ Flavius Josephus, a Jewish historian writing in the late 1st century, references Jesus in two key passages: In Antiquities of the Jews (Book 18), Josephus speaks of Jesus as a wise teacher miracle worker and leader, referring to his crucifixion under Pontius Pilate. The Roman historian Tacitus, writing around AD 115, refers to Jesus in his work Annals. He mentions Jesus as a person executed by Pontius Pilate during the reign of Emperor Tiberius, and describes the rise of Christianity as a result of Jesus' crucifixion. In letters written around AD 112, Pliny describes Christians worshipping Jesus Christ and acknowledges his crucifixion by Roman authorities.
The sources you mentioned (Josephus, Tacitus, and Pliny) are often debated by historians. For example, the passage about Jesus in Josephus’ Antiquities of the Jews (Book 18) is suspected to have been altered by Christian scribes, as parts of it don't align with Josephus’ Jewish beliefs. Tacitus, writing around AD 115, wasn’t a contemporary of Jesus and likely based his account on what Christians believed at the time or Roman records, not independent verification. Pliny the Younger, on the other hand, only describes early Christian practices and doesn’t provide details about Jesus' life or crucifixion. These sources are not eyewitness accounts and were written decades (or even a century) after the events they describe. It's just a logical thought to doubt those scripts cause first of all, those are times where Christianity was a default belief and people would believe whatever the religious people told them. An example is Tolomeo's belief about the earth being in the center of all the universe and that the sun and other planets rotated around it, and even when a bit later that theory was proven wrong, church people didn't accept it and actually tortured people who believed and spread that theory.
@ Bro, you're seriously comparing ancient historians to Ptolemy's geocentric theory? That's a stretch. First off, Josephus wasn't even Christian-he was a Jewish historian. Historians agree the core reference to Jesus is authentic. Tacitus? He literally hated Christians, so he had no reason to make anything up to help their cause. And Pliny wasn't trying to "prove" Jesus existed, he just described the practices of Christians and the death of Jesus, which still shows they were around and active early on.Also, Christianity wasn't the "default belief" back then-it was a tiny, persecuted group, not the mainstream. Your whole argument about people blindly believing is weak, considering Christianity grew in a hostile environment where it was easier to just stick to Roman gods. So yeah, historians debate stuff, but these sources are way more legit than you're giving them credit for.
