@@BellyDancerDiaries thanks for your kindness, I want to tell you something, there are many who want to be like you, but unfortunately no one can reach your top. 😉🌹😍😘
This is the ONLY bellydance channel that I REALLY love, because you aren't teaching only the basics in bellydance And as an advanced bellydancer I learned many details from you ❤❤❤💗💗💗💗
Thanks so much for your lovely feedback Artemis. It makes me really happy that you can extend your dancing through these videos. I've got a few more advanced ones coming too.
I'm so glad you liked this one Afreen, and also the top 20 video. Thank you for dancing with me and subscribing! Please share with your belly dancing friends!
I love these! This video made me so grateful for my mentor she has taught me all of these she is always creating new combinations and choreos! I love seeing a new person teach them though you teach them totally different and I almost like yours more ill have to play
Oh how fantastic! You are very fortunate to have such a wonderful mentor who teaches you all the different aspects of dance, and is inspired and passionate about her own dancing and teaching. It is beautiful that they can instill this in you too!
Thank you soo much for the wonderfull moves you teach us. I knew' shimmy butta.' Very sweet move!! Adding a shimmy I find difficult. But practice makes perfect ! ❤❤
It's one of those moves that you just have to get into the muscle memory. If you think about it too much, you'll lose it! Would love to hear how your progress!
They really are a core workout, aren't they! Another way to think about it is standing up as tall as you can, then going back to your usual belly dance posture. Try it in the mirror too as someone it really helps. It is a really fun move, so a great one to perfect! ua-cam.com/video/TSNrwZ_gf9o/v-deo.html
Another fantastic lesson Elisa! My favorite part was the end where you put them all together, like a mini-performance! You are some belly dancer Elisa! :)
@@BellyDancerDiaries I am sharing your video with my sister and belly dance teacher too. The dislikes are from people who were shimmying too hard and missed the thumbs up! Thanks for showing these moves, I'll use one or two for a dance I'm working on!
Don't worry, nearly always one side will feel easier than the other. I recommend working on your preferred side when you first learn the move, then building up your non-preferred side once you understand how to do it. With practise it will feel much more natural. Hope that helps!
Dear Elisa, nice video and good explanations! I like how some moves are called differently across countries and dance schools. Like you, I love move number 9. We call it 'bicycle hip'. But then, we are from The Netherlands, so, haha :)
Hello! Yes, the head is dropped all the way down if you can. This one also depends on flexibility in the spine and hamstrings. The aim is to have the body and head all the way down.
Hello! Yes, here is a tutorial dedicated to that move. It is a little old so the recording may not be very good, but hopefully you can still learn from all the tips! ua-cam.com/video/IJOywRdozXY/v-deo.html I really love this move. I hope you will too. 😁
Merci Norma! J'adore ton pays. Je suis à Melbourne, en Australie. De quelle ville en France? J'étais étudiante d'échange au lycée de Lavaur 😁 Une ville très petite mais très belle.
Really difficult to decide but I think my favorite one was the dramatic shimmy with the chest drops! 😍 Both moves separately work quite well but doing chest drops while doing shimmy doesn’t. Any tipps to improve this? 😞😊
Hi Selene, ooh, I love this one too! So dramatic. Try it with a fast drum solo, sometimes the move just comes when it is with the music. Also you can try practising each move individually while multi-tasking. For example, if you can shimmy or chest drop while cooking, or doing something else, it means you can do the move without thinking while you think of the other thing you are doing. You'll then be able to it bring together with another layer. Have you mastered layered shimmies yet? If not, it's great to work on the shimmy first and be able to do that without thinking first. Hope that makes sense!
@@BellyDancerDiaries Thank you, these are some good tips! For example, doing shimmy while doing the dishes .. :-) When it comes to layering shimmy it depends on what shimmy .. vibration does work ( but is not the powerful ..). 😊

I did this one by instinct before I knew it was a thing. Also cool with heel drops when you're too tired to chest lift, haha!
Hehe, yes the heel drops is the ultimate impacting but easy move. Sometimes we need to conserve our energy!
You’re so talented, how can you do the same move in both sides perfectly? I can’t do it 😅

Is the heel drop same like bounce ?
Hi Helen, yes, it is like a bounce. The knees stay relaxed. And for this one, the accent is on the down as the heels hit the floor. 😁
Love ittttttttttttttt 😁😍
