we do say “说这个” when 这个 is the object of 说，so you will say “我现在知道怎么说这个了。” but 这么说= say this, when we want to describe how someone said it. In the sentence: Did he really say that? English speakers will of course think “ that “ is the object of say, but in the Chinese translation 他真的那么说了吗？ we want to emphasize how he said that, which includes his words/facial expressions/intonation too!

Well... I feel as though I am cheating because I am living in Taiwan and I literally speak Chinese every day. I love you and all but i don't think this English statement "How many you've got them right?" is correct English because i hear you say this alot in your videos. you should say "How many you've got correctly" or "How many you've got right" or "tell me in the comments how many you got right". The "them" in the sentence sounds awkward (there's no need for it). This is honestly constructive NO HATE FOR YOU AT ALL.

I think that your sentences are okay. Except that 让 could also mean "to allow". So 我父母让我这样做 could also mean "My parents let me do this". And 她让我来 could also mean "She let me come". For "ask to" I think that 叫 is also used, especially parent-to-child, or teacher-to-student. Or 要 ("want") or 要求 ("request") I think are also possibilities.

“可以”也可以 😅 能，會，可以 are often interchangeable. Native speakers just dont care about rules 😂

They are exactly the same. You can use either one but your version is shorter so a lot of people sill choose it in everyday conversations.

fourth tone is correct in this context. 空地kòngdì，空闲kòngxían，空气kōngqì，放空fàngkōng，空余kòngyú。It is a character with two tones.

不 is a stronger word than 没有. 他不给我打电话了 can be understood as "he refused to call me" implying willingness of the person's action
