Liked your video! Just a suggestion....if you could show us the tag in clothing, like for the jacket you sold, that would be helpful for us other resellers.
Thank you for the feedback I’ll make sure to do that in all future videos for reference the brand is Zegna thank you for this feedback and thank you for watching! 🫶🏼
Ninja definitely sells great parted out. We’ve had a couple of Ninja’s and now have a lot of parts. I’ve sold 2 pitchers w/ lids for great prices and fast.
That’s awesome I love it!!! I’m Turning into the ninja queen with those this is my third part out 😂 they do sell at amazing rates and at great prices! I’ve had luck parting out the lid from the pitcher to try to max the profits but we’ll see how long that strategy works lol
Mohair is from either rabbit or goat and is super soft version of wool which is from sheep. Great job. I live in the Seattle area and "thrift" shops like Value Village and Goodwill aren't thrifty anymore. They sell things for retail or barely below. I've decided they aren't thrift stores but retail stores that sell used items. Every now and again I can find something that fell through their cracks, but few and far between. They have people on staff that go on eBay and do comps and they are selling a few dollars below reselling listings. It's so annoying! Since they get ALL of their stuff for FREE.
Ohhh ok thank you for letting me know I’m still learning about materials! Thank you! Wow yeah I’m seeing that more and more around me too! I live in the Bay Area and I can’t find simple button ups for less than $10 it sucks that they don’t even know how to comp out on eBay and how they do that. I agree they get everything for free they should list them at decent prices for everyone. Since I started to see that I started to source other types of items to expand the profits per se but yeah it’s definitely getting tougher out here I agree! I want to go thrifting in Seattle! I love it there I’ve been a few times but never thrifted there. I have a wedding in the summer there so I’ll definitely be checking some out and see what they have. I love checking out different thrifts it’s so fun!
Just ran across your video, very nice. Good info and nice sales.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate the feedback! Much more related content is planned for this channel stay tuned! 🫶🏼
Have you considered buying a small storage unit for an optimization on profit. I experimented with that recently and did really good.
It’s been in my thoughts as a next step but I haven’t considered it necessary for now as I have dedicated spaces for storage but it may be something that I do this year now that I know how to find better items for more profits! With those profits I could consider getting an air conditioned unit!
Hey girl ! New sub here ! Thanks for sharing your experience.. love watching other resellers !
Thank you so much for subscribing 🫶🏼🥰 me too! I love to learn from others and share what they do to learn!!! I just subscribed can’t wait to see the content!
@Thriftindirty Mohair is made from the fleece of the Angora goat so it is a specific type of wool. Luxurious.
@@leebrown9658 oh wow I had no idea thank you for letting me know! I’m still learning about materials.
Can you pin a video about shipping. I ship a lot of smalls and ephemera because I’m afraid of shipping.
Thank you for your knowledge and advice
@aimeholzapfel3431 of course! I have a playlist called how to ship and that has some of the bulkier items to ship. In that play list I will add all types of shipping content! In the coming weeks I will be posting how I ship clothes, shoes, smaller items, and even more fragile type items like yours! I am currently away from my work space but will be back next week with much newer content and I will make sure to add your requests! Thank you so much for watching and stay tuned!!!
New subscriber appreciating the tips! I'd love to see your storage system and get advice on a good thank you note (ask for feedback?) and ordering shipping supplies on eBay to build feedback.
You’re welcome thank you so much for watching! I’d love to make each of those videos they’ve all helped me be much more successful ,they’ll come out within a weeks time while I get my filming schedule situated. Stay tuned! 🫶🏼
First time Watching. Interesting channel, Good Luck growing your channel. I subscribed. Stay Safe
Thank you for watching! I teach all about thrifting to resell and how to ship all kinds of items whether you’re reselling or shipping to a friend! Thanks for subscribing! I can’t wait to see where this channel goes. You as well! 🫶🏼
New subscriber from NC. Thanks for sharing all the tips. 👍🏻
Hi thank you for watching! I’m glad you’re liking the content! So much more bolos and shipping content coming! 🫶🏼
I’ve noticed that if you have a newer eBay account it’s harder to get faster sales cuz you have zero or very little credibility. What would you say to us new accounts that don’t have any or many sales to help get that first sale?
Hi thank you for watching!
It can be a little daunting and discouraging to not get fast sales on ebay and the best advice would be to list good high sell through rate items each day it doesn’t matter the number too much when you’re new but if you can list 3-5 items a day for now that have a high sell through rate the sells will come! Another thing you can do to get that feedback is to order your shipping supplies on eBay! For me I love to order my bubble wrap on eBay they send automatic feed back and you can find good deals on supplies there! Amazon also has great shipping supplies deals but I say eBay is good when you’re new seeking feedback! This was such a good question so I will be making a much more detailed video answering this question! Thank you!
@@Thriftindirty Looking forward to that detailed video! In the same boat.
@deniseaday this is an important one can’t wait to film it!
Nice sales 🔥
Thank you!!! Leveling up!!! Can’t wait to see what I do this year! 🫶🏼
Just found your channel. Great video. Question please: You mentioned fast selling products. What items sell fast please?
Thank you that feedback means a lot thank you for watching! The items that I showed sell fast! The blazer and blender motor sold the fasts and they are the best out of these! I recommend comping items at thrift stores before checking out! Check how many listed over how many are sold and then do the sold comp forumula sold over listed and you will get the sell through rate percent. I like to grab items that are 80- over 100% sell through rate items if you want me to break down sell through rates let me know and I’ll make a video!
@@Thriftindirty Yes. Could you please make a video about the comp formula and sell rates please? I definitely would appreciate it.😊
Yeah I can definitely make these videos stay tuned they will be dropping by next week if not sooner! Thanks for watching! 🫶🏼
@@Thriftindirty Thank you so much. 😊
You’re very welcome! ☺️ 🫶🏼
I think Mohair is from goat, but don’t quote me. It would be those long haired mountain goats.
That’s what I’ve been seeing from what I gather I think it is goats and someone mentioned rabbits in the comments how interesting! I can’t wait to learn more about materials and such
Cards against humanity used to be a high $$ sell but there's soooo much of it on the market, the value has gone down.
I agree I got out of saturated markets with clothing because yeah the value just goes down so much that’s why sell through rates are so important! They can make or break your store!
Ty!
You’re very welcome! More shipping tutorials coming soon! 🫶🏼
Could you say what the shipping cost for each item is?
Hi thanks for watching! Thank you for the feedback I will add that in all future videos’ for these sales the eBay sales shipped ground advantage and the Poshmark order shipped priority. I do calculated shipping for eBay meaning I weighed and measured the item and added dimensions to my listing prior to the sale. This ensures I don’t over or underpay!
Mohair is from a long hair goat
Thanks for sharing and watching! 🫶🏼
