I greatly respect Dweezil. He keeps playing his fathers music, music that must not be lost, even though his brother is trying to stop him through court. Keep on rocking, Zappa...
I saw him live yesterday here in Dublin with his new band. That was one the greatest artistic moments in my life. I couldn't help it but having my mind going back in the 70s when I discovered for the first time the music of his dad. The concert was stellar! Huge respect for Dweezil, for keeping the great legacy alive and for being such a nice guy. At the end of the show he stayed with his fans, talking to them, taking pictures & signing autographs. An amazing show. Thank you Dweezil!
Cheers and beers from Australia when are you and the band coming back to Sydney Australia 🇦🇺 you even let me watch your rehearsal at the Enmore theatre and signed 2 of my guitar s & let me get a photo of you and the band much love to you and the band Doug Woellner
It's Gail's fault to begin with.. Why on earth didn't all four children get 25 % each? Instead Moon and Dweezil got 20 % each. Which means they will always get outvoted by the other two. It's mind boggling!
I was at this show, so cool how he closed and introduced the band to this song, just like his dad used to (Adrian Belew, Tommy Mars, Terri Bosio, etc....). Dweezil also did a killer version of Eruption at this show, having once taken lessons from Eddie Van Halen as a young pup.
Dweezil saw you and your band tour in Sydney Australia 🇦🇺 at the Enmore theatre in you even let me watch your band rehearsal and signed my guitar 🎸 and let me get a photo of you all please tour again soon stay safe love and best wishes to all Doug Woellner
Zappa's magnificent sounds + finger action on 'Muffin Man' are fantastical. All his music is class-A+++ but that tune he just wow's my soul to the limit. He never steels the show but shares with his band their talents which shows his character to me. The Sax gal is fantastic. Listening to Zappa always takes me up to the Highest level of wow-ness. Thanks to my U.K. Angel BEing that is the greatest finder-of Gems that I had not heard coming from the state of beingness that I was. Love Zappa
This you play great very great to do your Fathers work new life in people. But a long way to go to play those about 50 records....I told you beautiful..!!!!Greatings from Holland ..I ad mired dad of you from 1966 in Holland.
saw him play that too, in Edinburgh at The Playhouse 14 Feb '77 which incidentally is tonight! 40 years ago!! And it was the first time I heard that Muffin Man and I never heard it again till 1993 and recognised it straight away !! How good is that ! FZ music is memorable ...proven!
Saw him 3 times in France. I remember in '79 when he stopped the show because a moron throw a beer bottle on the stage. He warned that if it happened again, they would leave ! No more beer bottle till the end of the gig ! It happened in Brest (Titties & Beer !), Brittany, France where I'm still living. You can hear it in a bootleg with a french translator at 12:05 ua-cam.com/video/PClzoY2sRdQ/v-deo.html
He does a tribute to the 👑 his Dad..thanks Dweezil. Beautiful ❤️..this music 🎵🎶 should be played now..alot of it is fun..alot is important messages to duffases
Seen Dweezil and the band 3 times now and it has been a joy to see the progression that the band is making doing the music that The Dweeze has a passion for... A passion which I share... Hoopla!
When I saw him in Vegas a few years ago me and my buddy kept calling out this song, in hopes that they'd play it and they never did. Cool to see him doing it here.
twinsmm1 he could go to berklee and find umpteen players who know or could learn the catalog. I would think the bigger issue would be paying people. The more musicians, the more/smaller pieces of the pie. No disrespect to Dweezil, that’s just the simple economics of it.
Frank's music continues to live thanks to Dweezil. The music is extremely difficult to play, and Dweezil puts his heart and soul into it. I've seen ZPZ once in summer of 2012 and have tickets to see again November 2013.
Hahaha yea, I saw ZPZ earlier in the summer too and they were fantastic both times! I would have much rather heard ZPZ for four hours than any other band for sure!
I greatly respect Dweezil. He keeps playing his fathers music, music that must not be lost, even though his brother is trying to stop him through court. Keep on rocking, Zappa...
Mitrowicz why on Earth would his brother try and stop him ? What’s that all about ?
Fucking "ricky"

i have great respect for what Dweezil does
Could be I'm out of the loop but.... Dweezil is the only fella I know playing this incredible music.....
Me as well
I saw Frank in 1974 ! Phenomenal! Great musicians
This is unbelievably great on so many levels
Dweezil is a superb guitarist and does his dad proud with the ZPZ concerts.
Dweeze is even better now than then and this is pretty damn aweaome. Keep the legacy alive Dweez!
Dweez is really starting to look like the old man. Brought a tear to my eye.
Dude I'm literally drying a tear as I type.
Not in the slightest.
They were in Norway last year and in 2010. I saw both concerts live. One of the best gigs I've ever been to! :-)
Dweezil Zappa and band best gig I’ve seen in Australia 🇦🇺 and I’ve played in bands since primary school still playing at 59 though lol

Dweezil's been one of my favorite guitar players for a long time now.
SO bad ass!! Seen him several times... always brilliant. Will keep going back as long as he comes around. Cheers!!
Man just wants to play guitar 😀 love this. Good to hear keeping it in the family music. Legend. So glad I saw this live ✌️

Cheers and beers from Australia when are you and the band coming back to Sydney Australia 🇦🇺 you even let me watch your rehearsal at the Enmore theatre and signed 2 of my guitar s & let me get a photo of you and the band much love to you and the band Doug Woellner
Outstan!ding! I love both of these tunes. Great band, great vocalist, great sax and super Dweezil
Can't believe Frank's kids are speaking through lawyers. Let Dweezil does his thing.
It's sad what money does to people.
Frank would tell them they're all being assholes.
Coding Australia Yeah this will definitely upset Frank, it's against what he was about
It's Gail's fault to begin with.. Why on earth didn't all four children get 25 % each? Instead Moon and Dweezil got 20 % each. Which means they will always get outvoted by the other two. It's mind boggling!
It has all been fixed. The war is over. Children are respecting each other again. Vive ZAPPA!
AMAZING SOLO by Dwezil. Supreme Expression.
Damn this blew me away! Unreal guitar work.
I have a dream, that one day Zappa plays Zappa will come to Norway!
Great rendition! Virtually note for note of the original. Ace!
Vocals nailed !
para mim que curti Zappa em minhas maiores viagens, fico emocionado
without Frank Zappa, plenty of musicians would be nothing, including Weird Al, so respect always, to FZ. Rest In Peace Master Zappa. 1940-1993.
Dweezil saw you and your band tour in Sydney Australia 🇦🇺 at the Enmore theatre in you even let me watch your band rehearsal and signed my guitar 🎸 and let me get a photo of you all please tour again soon stay safe love and best wishes to all Doug Woellner

Dweezil deserves to headline Vibes without a doubt... he and his band were by far some of the most talented musicians to grace the stage!
serious MUFFIN MAN guitar solo.... great drummer too....
Love the use of the wah pedal, real expressive playing. What a pro.
So happy to see this. Good music still exists. Good job Dweezil I have always been a fan and always will be!!!
i love this band!
This you play great very great to do your Fathers work new life in people. But a long way to go to play those about 50 records....I told you beautiful..!!!!Greatings from Holland ..I ad mired dad of you from 1966 in Holland.

i was late to my aunt and uncles wedding because i just could not walk away from this show!
Cool, cool, cool...just love it so much. All of them fantastic musicians of cause, but that drummer....top!
Saw Frank himself (originally) perform that same segue twice, once in October '78 & again in August '84
saw him play that too, in Edinburgh at The Playhouse 14 Feb '77 which incidentally is tonight! 40 years ago!! And it was the first time I heard that Muffin Man and I never heard it again till 1993 and recognised it straight away !! How good is that ! FZ music is memorable ...proven!

Such an amazing set. Especially when Tom came out and they did Debra Kadabra. And the Van Halen solo was epic. I'm hooked on Zappa now!
Great performance, totally enjoyed it

Absolutely!
When I saw him in Vegas a few years ago me and my buddy kept calling out this song, in hopes that they'd play it and they never did. Cool to see him doing it here.
the greatest legacy one can leave to children
Great to see a young audience!
Of course it is her, she is just so amazing!
I think Dweezil put together a band that does his father great justice and Ben Thomas does a great job
great vocals, spot on!
@ 5:28, drummer pointing out a crack in cymbal!
tuve el previlegio de ver a dweezil en barcelona año 1998, increible toca y su voz igual que el padre...inolvidable!! frank zappa un maestro!!!!!!!!
Zappa is our hero, thanks Dweezil for doing this
They need more than one sax.
+klesh trouble is, finding musicians into/understanding franks stuff.
twinsmm1 he could go to berklee and find umpteen players who know or could learn the catalog. I would think the bigger issue would be paying people. The more musicians, the more/smaller pieces of the pie. No disrespect to Dweezil, that’s just the simple economics of it.
Dweezil destroys that Muffin Man solo.
amazing ....
I'm going to go see the "Zappa Plays Zappa" performance in two weeks - I can't wait!
I really love his solo on this, really great take on his dads style. Frank would be proud.
Love Frank...Thanks
