Hey Scotty, good to see you back. Nice cot tent. I was looking at those for an option. Many years ago, I purchased a pop up hunting blind which was that style. I could never figure out how to get it folded back up again. I got so frustrated I ended up just throwing it out. The Czech Field mess kit is nice! you can definitely feed a small army with that! I'd like to find a military stove that works well, also. Take care. 👍🏻
It was good to be back. Ya I really wanted a light fighter 1, because they are also made to go on these cots, but do to the price of them I opted out and got this one. Ya the stove thing is a bit frustrating,.but I was able to get my M 1950 running woo hoo. I will probably do a cooking video using that with the mountain cookset😁. Hey thanks for watching Jeff and hope all is well my friend👍💯🤗
Also you can pickup a Primus Omnilite Ti Service Kit which is small parts to fix the stove in the field I carry 2 of these on me. You might want to look into that. The primus Ti comes with one tool that will fix the stove any where.
Thank you. I really appreciate it. I'm hoping to get out this weekend for a OVERNIGHT, but woo wee this weather is hot for me 🥵. See ya in the next video 😎👍💯
Hey Scotty!! Good to see you brother!...I've got that same pop-up tent (don't worry, once you learn that last fold, it's no problem)...I'm thinking a possible solution to the fly not quite cover the cot, is to use a couple of the triangular big black paperclips (the ones with the little handles) to clip on to the bottom of the fly with some cordage to pull out the fly a bit and tighten it up...
Good to hear from ya too. Ya I can see the rain leaking in more in a longer period of showers. Thanks for the tip appreciate it. Thanks for watching I also appreciate that too😁👍💯
@@scottysurvival the seam tape looks alright...just needs re-heat to re seal...an iron with no steam,on medium, with parchment paper in-between it and the seam tape will do the trick. 9/10 seconds ironing and it'll remelt the glue like new.
I just put a video up of my complete cook set which runs all Ti and the frying pan is stainless steel only. I linked it to another video cooking with it where I cook a steak and steam. Love steam vegetables. Any how...... I am done spamming you now LOL
Pick up and can of Atsko Silicone Water-Guard 10.5 oz for $11.95 and give it a light spray on the fly. I do this with all my flys and then leave it out to dry.
Now something really cool is the Primus - EasyLight Lantern with Piezo Igniter. I also take with me backpacking. I set it away from camp and light it and the bugs are attracted to it. Spring, Fall, Winter I keep it a little closer to the tent. Throws great light.
Are aluminum containers safe for food? While aluminum is generally considered safe for use in food packaging, some studies have suggested that prolonged exposure to high levels of aluminum can lead to health problems such as Alzheimer's disease and kidney damage.

I don't know for sure I've heard in moderation is ok to eat off of or cook, but everyday cooking on aluminum isn't good.🤔
Ur going in and out the back door man its for ur gear
