Hey wheeler, could you make a video about how to break down a lake you’ve never been to and how to choose baits. I am going to high school nationals in Tennessee and you have been inspiring me so much. I enjoy the informational content, keep it up!
Just the knowledge u have and share help so many Angler's from kids all the way to other pro Angler's! It's amazing to watch and to learn from what I consider 1 of the best of all times! U have many many more wins ahead of u and a long lasting carrier when it comes to fishing! Can I be honest though? I think sometimes it can hurt u to over think somethings as in just trying to go after the bigger bite! I honest think if u just went out and fished like u know how u would wipe the field every single time. Not saying these other Angler's knowledge isn't up to par. Your the best all around fisherman I have ever seen! Truly a honor to watch every single video and tournament u fish buddy! Best of wishes for the rest of the year! Time to go North and get on some of those Big Brown Backs! Show them all u know what your doing wherever u go in the Nation! Ding Ding... I want u to get that AOY!!! Got to beat Brent out now and that's tuff going North on them smallies! But, u got it!
Bass fishing is the best my favourite is striped bass but bass in general are just a crazy fish too catch the way they strike is super exciting I do my own UA-cam as well except I am only 13 my goal is too engage our next generation into fishing 🎣 but your videos are better then mine your editing is just next level awesome 😊
can you maybe do a worm weight breakdown? because they are different from the standard weights people think about that are not pro anglers. yes can you use your flipping style texas rig weights yes but worm weights are the pencil style weight with a cone style head. so just wanted to ask. and lastly, when would you choose to use let's say a 3/16 worm weight and when would you choose to use a 3/8oz and which size worm for each? me I'd think a 7ish inch worm 7.5 inch or less regardless of style of worm for the lighter worm weight for let's say 10ft or less the 3/8oz for larger worm 7.5 inch or larger 10ft or deeper?
I was surprised too that I've settled on the 5/16 as the best of both a few years back. I often wondered if you lose sensitivity from pegged weight or gain better feel from it? I would think it would be better 🤷
Man lol i use 1/8 & 3/16 almost all the time... live in ohio though so fishing isnt great so maybe I just learned that way bc of the tough fishing and pressure.. I've wondered though if going heavier could actually help 🤔

Wheeler is the goat of bass fishing
Not yet, that still belongs to KVD and Wheeler would say so I bet.
He’s great, but has a lot of career to go to be called the goat. I do believe at present he is the best
Rob "Lunkers" is the Goat!
@@onemorecast1352 😂 he doesn’t even have a professional win yet
you kids are funny…KVD will always be the goat…will never be surpassed
Dude you rocked out in that Tuesday beat down
I finesse with a Texas rig. Always used 1/16 in my small lake. But I went to 1/8 and had much better results
My best bass teacher! Grettings from Spain.

Jacob, thanks for the video on what weight to use. When do you decide to peg your worm?
This helped me so much
Good stuff Jacob. Thank you.
Good stuff, thank you 🙏🏻
What type of weight do you use, for rocky banks flipping or bullet? I use a 5/16 flipping tungsten and it gets wedged alot in between rocks.
Thanks for the info it helps alot. Keep up the great work.

Old creek bends... smart

Good info thanks for sharing!
Good info..Nice...👍
Where do you get your tungsten? Do you only used that or do you still use lead or steel?
Great info! Thanks!
Awesome video!!
Awesome video
Thank you 🎣🤙
Idont know how you are able to pitch with a 1/8th oz weight unless using spinning gear . I cant do it effectively at all.
When you are casting a Texas rig at offshore structure do you allow the weight to move freely along the line?
JDub be sparklin’ tonight!
This is something I definitely over think and always have over tha last 20 yrs but sounds like im on point and need to stop over complicating!!

This video helped a lot because i didn’t think weight matters like that.
