Thanks for the video. I just did this on a 2004 coupe and your walkthrough, although fast at times, was a big help. I ran into an issue I'd thought I'd share. You mention it briefly, but the interior door handle cable has a small plastic clip that holds the outside of the cable to the door panel. This was broken for me. I suspected this happened immediately when I removed the door panel. As a result, the cable didn't clip into the door panel, so the wire wasn't being pulled far enough by the interior door handle to release the latch. I didn't find this out until I had the panel back on. I ended up looping the cable around the metal bar in the inner door skin (instead of going through the hole farther up, it wrapped around from the lower hole, using the plastic clip as before). That took just enough slack out of the cable so the handle could pull the wire fully. As a warning to anyone working on door latches, make sure to test the latch with a screwdriver before just blindly closing the door! They are made to be difficult to force open, so if something is broken or reassembled wrong, the screwdriver acting as the catch is a good test to make sure the latch can open on its own, from both the inside and outside door handles.
oh Yes.. I Would Imagine Those Would Be Easy to Break Being That They Sit in The Weather Getting Hot and Cold all The Time.. I Guess Now It'll Be Easy for You to Replace it Tho :) Get Your Ass to a Honda Dealer and Buy it :) so you Don't End Up Stuck inside Your Own Car lol
The replacement would probably break just as easily on its own. Removing the slack from the cable is a permanent solution. Honda can make decent engines, but they suck at transmissions and door locks.
This would this would be a great video if you dont fast-forward through so many of the small details if you did show the small details this would be one of the best videos out there
Celise Edwards I needed to do similar replacement on 2005 Honda 4 door exl sedan (Dorman part number 746-367). It was much more complex and not really for the feint of heart amateur - took about 2 hours. This video was very helpful in cautionary notes about: removing door panel, fragile plastic clips, window position, unbolting window track etc. So much to learn!
Thanks Yeh it Was Fisheye on My GoPro. Sorry That's The Only Camera I Have. If The angle Was Better I Think it Would Have Been Much Better. But That's all I Have and it Didn't Have a Screen on it So Really Couldn't See What I Was Recording lol
Great job. Thanks
Perfect instruction. Took no time at all after watching the video.

My passenger door actuator broke on my 04 accord coupe. Is the repair easy enough for someone with zero-to-none in car experience to do?

I broke that white plastic clip that hold rod going up :(
Damn silly to fast forward like that ...
Making me dizzy jerking the camera around constantly....good grief
Next time try not using a horribly distorting lens. Looks like a fish eye. Try a 16mm instead.
