Exactly 😄 obviously I’m going to need my arms and hands 🙌 🎸but do I really gotta have both legs 🤔 and my other kidney? 😄These guitars are what guitarists dreams are made of ! 😊 fairly expensive but when you consider what it really is and that it’s a 100% custom build every time for each customer, it’s worth the money I think. It’s a fully functional at a very high level piece of beautiful art! I want one of these more than any other guitar out there , I definitely have to own one in the future

Not danzig but Gdansk ! It was Polish city for centuries, back to 9 century except short time of WW2 and after partitioning of Polish Kingdom Commonwealth. Tell danzig in Poland and they probably beat you :)

Now I see how important the knowledge of wood specialists in such a factory is, apart from the artists - guitar shape designers and performers of painstaking work but important for the quality of workmanship (cutting, grinding, polishing etc.). Very interesting video
I think they deserve the money they get, more than Jackson or other brands/guitar makers. If Gibson was selling Skervesen models, they would ask 7 grands for 'em! And I don't think you could get a Korean version of these!

Tiny operation...what’s their turnaround like? It’s gotta be a while, considering how small the crew is and the attention each guitar needs.
Ha! @17:08 Someone else is using the same pushpull potswitch I have been using for 10 years. From Mec. I wonder if those are some kinds of tiny cable shoes or if they are just soldered and taped? Looks really neat!

I don't see a wood kiln in their workshop. Do they take in pre-kiln-dried pieces of wood? otherwise, as the wood adjusts itself, it'll lose moisture and the fret ends will get exposed.

Which one would you rather pick: Skervesen or Mayones?
Skervesen is more customizable, but shapes are a bit too quirky in some models, still I go for Skervesen
Skervy for playability. Mayones for nice finish. Thats a generalisation of course. I have a skervy and played bunch of mayo.
Depends on what you want, you get more customization for you buck if you go to Skervesen. I also like the feel of Skervesen more. Mayones is more expensive, but you may prefer their shapes or colors.

I've owned 6 Mayones and 3 Skervs, I can say that the quality of Mayones is a bit higher, no single flaw in any guitar whatever the price tag was, but Skervs are super good as well. The best guitar I've ever had is a Mayones Regius Pale Moon tho, no match for the more expensive guitars that Mayones offer. Check Ronciswall guitars too, super good stuff and way less expensive but a very long waiting list.
