Perna I know you've been worried about the success of your channel, but the numbers don't reflect your level of content. You are by far the most entertaining football youtuber I've found and it's just a bonus that I'm also a broncos fan!

Perna is my almost daily source of NFL news and entertainment, his fun energy makes his show my favorite on this app.
I'm a steelers fan but stumbled upon Perna when I moved to Colorado. He has been the best NFL youtube channel by far.

Joe Flacco's Super Bowl run is still insane. He actually turned into Joe Montana for 4 games and got paid a shit ton of money before becoming a journeyman. He had a 117 passer rating, 11 touchdowns, 0 picks, and 1140 yards in 4 GAMES!

Even as a Pats fan even I’ll admit they had an awesome postseason that year. Not the best regular season team and had some older vets but believed in each other and won out in the end. Poetic ending of the career of the greatest linebacker of my childhood.

That five years span (2008-13) was a Ravens fan fantasy ride. 2011-12 were sure fire signs that this was gonna get a Super Bowl ring
@@MadKingLordeus If we had Justin Tucker in 2011 (or if Lee Evans added gorilla glue to his gloves), we’d have back-to-back Super Bowls.. That was probably the toughest loss in Ravens history - although it did make 2012 that much sweeter.
@@DartmouthOutingClub It reminded me of the Maryland Terrapins men's basketball program back in 2000-2001 and 2001-2002, where they blew a 20+ point lead to Duke in the Final Four, but came back to win it all the next year.
This was actually the year I stared watching football. As a 49er fan it was exciting and heartbreaking

Something no one talks about, Joe Flacco had spider senses right before the lights went out. He goes “why did the scoreboard stop?” Then the lights go out. Pretty cool

I often get nostalgic about 2012. Even though I don’t particularly remember enjoying 8th grade.
This was the first year that I truly followed football outside of the Super Bowl. Honestly the amazingness of the season probably was what got me hooked.
It was a crazy season, but worth it. Mile High Miracle was insane! Go Ravens!
Great video man. Was in Mexico during the Ravens Broncos playoff game. Ravens fans on one side, Broncos fans on the other side (their tv was delayed like 7 seconds, not sure why). When the throw to Jacoby happened me and my dad flipped out and it was the funniest thing hearing them all go “wtf” before they actually watched it happen. Will never forget that moment
The most magical moment for me in the super bowl was the outage it gave me time to give my three year old a bath and feed him he was knocked out by the start of the 4th .............. Uninterrupted celebration

You do realize the NFL heads admitted to cheating saying they’re an entertainment business and are allowed to have refs help one team? The Ravens were holding our WRs and pushing off on our DBs and same thing the OL/DL

I still remember the Fail Mary like it was yesterday. I was in the college at the time and I was getting back to my dorm after doing something for class. I was getting ready to go to bed, but then I thought "Oh, wait. I may be able to still catch some of the game." It's the only play I saw of the game.
That whole season was just bonkers for the Ravens. Suggs coming back from the "non-basketball" Achilles tear and the 4th and 29 in San Diego were both crucial as well. We lost four of five to end the season. I don't think a team has backed into the playoffs that hard before. To cap off that playoff run, I was watching the Superbowl at my house in Berkeley with a living room FULL of Niner fans. What was more important to that comeback than the power going out was Haloti Ngata getting hurt after the power came back on. I've never been that stressed out watching the Ravens. Made the win all the sweeter....
Hell yeah to all of that.

If there's any justice in the world, Flacco bought Raheem Moore a new house or something after misplaying that ball so badly. Cause if he doesn't mistime his jump so badly, he doesn't get that huge deal in the offseason.

1. Power went out in the previous year when Steelers were playing the Niners at home. That's where the Superbowl producers and front office got the idea from (IMO)
2. I really don't think the NFL is rigged (too much money, too many moving parts). On the flip side, certain areas can be manipulated like boxing hype. In this case it's the Harbaugh brothers. John clearly was a better coach & had a better team than Jim did.
3. "Pittsburgh. Steelers. Or Pittsburgh Steelers" Sound real sexy coming from you Perna.
4. See, Perna. You Are a Chef. Your (Perna & Will) writing are the recipes. The filming is the cooking and editing is quality checking and garnishing before it goes to the table (upload).

As a 49ers fan my inner Harbaugh came out during that Jacob B kick return, screaming at the TV "HOLD!! HE'S HOLDING!!!!" ... and I won't get into my lack of colorful words at the end of that game either... needless to say if the 49ers are ever in the SB again I do not go to my cousin's traditional Super Bowl party... and against the Chiefs it was good that I didn't :)

This was actually my first season watching the NFL, and I only saw the Conference games because I loved the cover "Bring on Brady", so I wanted to know who this guy was.

I was at that ravens Colts playoff game, it was Ray Lewis‘s last home game. I was 12 at the time. Cemented me as a ravens fan for life
When he said “stop me if you’ve heard this before” I just put my head in my hands, being from Atlanta is great in so many ways and in the Matt Ryan era we have been competitive most seasons (with the exception of the last few) and the journeys are always so fun but when we get to the cliff top.... as an Atlanta fan there is always a painful and stupid trip and fall back down. I don’t think there is a player who is more deserving of finally getting a ring than Ryan, I’ll be cheering on Indy for that reason all the while watching Mariota and Ridder try and reassemble a competent Falcons side through the gaps in my fingers

First Super Bowl I ever watched was one of the wildest
I took a nearly decade long break from watching football following the 2012 season. To a long-suffering 20 year old Redskins fan, the phenomenal season of RG3 ending in injury was too much to bear
As a Bolts fan, I so hate that year. It was like that film 2012, everything beneath our feet came crashing down. Peyton Manning played a part of it. And Ray Rice solidified himself as the field abuser of Bolts D besides off-field issues.
