The fact that Brandon said "2012" then dubbed it with "15" instead of re-doing the take is the sort of humor we are here for
That was a dub? I couldn’t tell it was so seamless
Bro wtf, that isn’t humor. He just made a mistake he probably found while editing, countless UA-camrs do that all the time
@@ImGoingSupersonic you heard 15?
@@qqngel it is humor in the way Perna rolls, Totes on brand for him
KOK PUNISHES TIGHT BUT WHOLE
Fun Fact: 2015 was the last time an NFL playoff game ended in a shutout
Edit: Perna even once said: “Any NFL team that gets shutout in the playoffs should automatically get the 5th overall pick in the draft.”
When?
OGr right here
Thats what im saying
@@Aburner960 Chiefs vs Texans
@@sweetpeach3649wasnt a nfl fan back then mbb i knew we slapped the shit out the texans i just didnt know it was a shutout
As a Charlotte native and life time Panthers fan, this season was the most amazing and saddest at the same time.
But hey... At least we made it to the dance. Doesn't look like we're going to make it any time soon, at least with Fatt Rhule as head coach.
@@coreylineberry8557 Well, not anymore
@@pineapplesforever1753 Point stands on the other part.
You had the same experience as Broncos fans in 2013. All time offense meets all time defense.
Being a panthers fan it was amazing going to work everyday. But after that superbowl, not so much 😕
As a lifetime panthers fan, von literally stole cam’s soul that night, I’m sad now thanks a lot purna 😂
Cam made the choice to not go for that ball. Von Miller is a great player but that's because he always gives 100% look at the show he put on in LA a few weeks ago 7 years later....
Exactly, they are not the same lol
I mean von was just walking by the oline qb's can't block for themselves
Brady did the exact same thing to Matt Ryan and the Falcons.
@@lukeyarasheski5510 I remember Cam (Previously Newton now Miller, cause Von's his dad) walking out of his post game interview like halfway through.
I know you wanted to make this video considering who won the Super Bowl that year.
Lol possibly, but this was a crazy year with everything that happened
I enjoyed this season 🙏
Brandon "Kingbarrelmaker Is On to Me" Perna
Let's go broncos country
After the first 2 weeks I imagine many DEN fans are looking backwards
What an outstanding nostalgia trip, thank you Brandon!
I'll never forget that season, but you did a great job of reminding me how crazy the QB situation was. There was genuine uncertainty as to who should start at QB in the superbowl. Osweiler had yet to reveal his downsides, and people saw him as the future of the franchise and probably a more capable QB than Manning at that point.
Kubiak deserves so much credit for steering that crazy ship to a championship for us
Honestly I knew that Manning was starting that Super Bowl. There was no way he wasn’t... now that said I believe I told my wife that there was a possible scenario where if Manning was playing like he did when we went to Brock, that he could get benched in the Super Bowl... but I told her to pray to the gods not to let that happen, as a Broncos fan since Elway came into the league we had enough Super Bowl hardships. But yeah it was a difficult thing to watch and it ended great for us, thank you universe!
HUGE GIRTHY KOK EXPOSED TO A BUS OF MENTALLY HANDICAPPED TEENAGERS
2015 season was arguably the best season in recent memory
I mean Brandon’s a little biased of course
Im a Dallas fan so no it wasn't 2016-17 season was better
@@angelcarrillo298 I think you mean 2017-18 :)
Even the jets were nearly playoff bound
2013, 2017, and 2021 are all up there
As a Panthers fan, the 2015 season was truly a magical season. From the excitement you felt everytime they played. The Super Bowl run. The Color Rush uniform. Our 2015 defense. Our first Thanksgiving game. All the way to Cam being MVP.
It may not have ended with a victory at the Super Bowl, but that whole season was a tremendous surprise that unfortunately us fans still look back at with a question of "What if?" Those questions are especially loud these days due to our current predicament.
You also had Jonathan Stewart, your actual best rusher
Sucks to suck.
It's ok, after that Cam really took off and got even better lol
@@ericross441 And your Raiders are 0-2 suppose to be “playoff contenders” ouch
Think they would have tanked harder cause cam clearly got in his own head after making it to the super bowl imagine if he actually won
I’m a panthers fan. What is so tragic about this season, is we would have blown out any other team other than the broncos. We blew out the Seahawks and the cardinals in the games before. If we played the patriots instead of the broncos it would have been a massive panthers win. The broncos were set up just in the best way to exploit our offensive weaknesses. What’s insane is other than Greg Olsen every other player we had except maybe Ted ginn was basically a practice squad level player. Which just shows how dominant cam was that year. Mostly good memories from that year
I honestly went into that game accepted my broncos we’re gonna lose are second super bowl in 3 years. A 13-3 team I just didn’t see Denver wining that Super Bowl. Boy was I shocked.
When a team consisted of Mike Tolbert, Jonathan Stewart, Trai Turner, Ryan Khalil, Cam Newton, yeah I didn’t even include the defense. You obviously didn’t remember how great that team was
@@cheeminthao7967 I was just talking about skill position players mostly. I remember every single player on the team from that season. Cam and Greg Olsen were all we had. Jonathan Stewart was older and not as dominant as he was in the years prior. And mike Tolbert had less than 200 scrimmage yards that season he was barely a factor. And yes the defense was elite. But all I remember that season was Cam absolutely carrying the number 1 offense in the league on his back
@@cheeminthao7967 where are all those players now??🤣the only “elite” players you mentioned were on the online🤣and yes our defense was amazing, but that still isn’t at all what the og comment was talking about…..the no names that cam newton brought to the Super Bowl. Our “number one WR” got hurt and guess what…..he’s not even in the league anymore….WE NEVER HAD A #1 or even a #2 WR with those guys💀
When the Broncos players saw that the Panthers won they were stoked, they were hoping to face them; now we know why.
First season I actually watched/paid attention to all the way through in my life (I was 16) and it truly did cement my love of football. Seahawks had an insane season that year. Doug Baldwin went crazy. Saw my Seahawks live for the first time too. Truly an amazing football season.
What in the hell were you doing for the first 16 years of your life!!!
Man you missed out.
I was 15 at the time( from AZ) and everyone here were ecstatic about the cards potential SB win😑😑😑😕😕
real i was like 10 it was awesome i loved this season.
As a Packer fan I remember the 2015 NFL season for being the year Jordy Nelson got injured and having a Successful Hail Mary in the playoffs that meant absolutely nothing because of Larry Fitzgerald in OT
I remember my brother screaming "who the f#*& is Janis?"
Also, this was the first real glimpse that people were starting to realize Mike McCarthy relied WAYYYY too much on talent to cover up his bad playcalling and decision making
Yes!!
@@thedanieljunior lmao 😂
I completely forgot about that Fitzgerald play....that guy deserved a ring somewhere in his career.....
I loved this - 2015 Broncos were a really easy team to like because they always found a way to win the big game. The improbable, late turnovers were super memorable, but generally it was Von and Ware closing games late - meeting at the QB
I liked watching CJ Anderson, people forgot how good he was that year when it mattered most.
“A true battle of emotional lightweights” is such a quietly brutal line.
2:57 he said his name and I go “WHO?” And a second later Snoop does the same😂
I’m dead
Thanks for reminding me about the Tomsula Era in San Francisco…I thought I had successfully purged that from my memory.
The 2015 playoffs were amazing indeed. I remember watching a bunch of those games. Thank you, Brandon.
Lmao at the flash of guys whose profile pictures are them in their driver seats with sunglasses on. Too accurate.
I haven’t watched the video yet, but as a panthers fan, it’s for sure going to make me either cry or punch a wall 😂
The sad thing is, It’s been 7 years since our O-line lost us a ring and we still don’t have one that’s worth half a damn.
Same.
Ngl I relapsed on 8 years of sobriety that night
Really enjoy these deep dives, i'm still fairly new to NFL. This really helps with giving more background to seasons that i might not have known about
Love these videos! The time and hard work you put into them definitely shows. Great content
Appreciate that
@@thatsgoodsports kept me entertained and reminiscing for a solid half hour of driving, appreciate it!
As a Washington fan, I was working at a hotel in DC and covertly was watching the "you like that" game on my phone and went outside to watch the end of the game. I yelled when they scored the go ahead TD and scared the crap outta people walking by. Family probably thought they were about to get mugged in an alley Wayne parents style. Good times
Brandon, I can't tell you just how much I love it when you go balls deep! Feel free to do it again ant time please.
Honestly PLEASE make another video soon. Maybe a GPS Mashup on 2010. Tom looks like he needs cheering up since it's been SO LONG since Green Bay actually won it all.
Hopefully there will soon come a day when the Lions are no longer just a footnote in videos like this that eqautes to, "and the Lions were bad as usual."
The first NFL season I ever really got into, and the reason I am still painfully attached to the panthers today
same bro🥲🥲
same here man 😢
This is easily my favorite UA-cam series rn, I’m binge watching em and so much good comedy and nostalgia in these vids
As a Panther fan that was a sad night what a great season to end on a sour note
A thirty minute video from Brandon? What a start to the weekend
I love, love these seasons covered like this. It’s amazing.
The Panthers had Jonathan Stewart, who is super underrated. No one talks about him ever since Christian McCaffery came around, but Stewart is the Pathers best rusher, as of now
Update a month later. Jonathan Stewart is still going to be their best rusher for a while
So many times i look back and remember the 2015 season
Doug Martin had two of the best football nicknames, the muscle hamster and the dougernought
Me: doesn't hit vape at 8 a.m.
Brandon: *puts dude vaping as transition*
Me: rips vape
The season my Broncos won the Super Bowl 🏆
They won SBs 32 and 33 and got trounced in 4 others before that. How old are you? Lol
great video Brandon you never miss! really love this deep dive format and man this season was wild go broncos!
Not sure how this channel doesn't have millions of subs. Everything is gold
I love this type of retrospective presentation of a season.
Great video bud! Like the narration and the recap
Really enjoyed that. Hope to see more. Would love to see one on the 2010 season!
I enjoyed this. watched the whole thing after work
This is my first time watching one of your videos but on point and funny glad I feel on this....
That was beautiful Brandon my little sprite! I loved that season it was nice to relive it with you buddy! Epic Broncos historical moment!
I was living in Charlotte for this and its one of the best memories I have. I was at a local bar called Lucky Lous Tavern to watch this game, I was the only person there wearing orange with my Manning jersey and was ferociously booed when I entered that place...man did it all come around full circle though, the silence in that place towards the end of the game was priceless. Something I'll never forget. Felt like a long time coming though, been tough being a Broncos fan from the age of like 7 when I started watching football. I got to see the end of the Elway, Sharpe, McCaffrey and Davis Era (90's baby), but man was it sweet to finally get that win when I really understood what was going on...thanks for the trip to memory lane Perna, much appreciated.
doug baldwin on the seahawks also went crazy towards the tail end of this season. was incredible watching that stretch of russel wilson to baldwin for 15 td's
That broncos patriots game was crazy good to hear you were there too not a single person sitting the whole game
Love these videos I'm sure they are hard to make but I wish to see more
This was the season I started following the NFL and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made
That was such a weird year, KC goes from 1-5 to running the table and blowing out Houston in the wild card game, Denver went from washed up Peyton being benched to super bowl win, A. J. McCarron was a non fumble play away from a playoff game, Carson Palmer was Top 10 QB and had the worst playoff game ever in the NFC title game.
The first Bronco game I saw live was that Week 2 game against KC. Still the best game I ever saw!
The guy vaping as the transition 😂 keep it going brah
ahhh that season was a rollorcoaster as a Cards fan, remember going 4-0 and almost beating the steelers in week 5... remember the playoffs and the greatest game I've ever seen vs the packers, funny cuz during the overtime play with Fitz i literally jumped around screaming and fam thought I lost my mind lmao! and then the absolute heartbreak vs the panthers. not gonna lie, when the Broncos beat them and made Cam look like a chump, I was the happiest person on earth and saved that season for me. good times.
one of the best videos i watched in a long t5ime
What a great video!!! GO BRONCOS!! Such a special year. The Golden Super Bowl!
This was one of my first years playing fantasy football super seriously so some of these names and teams are a real blast from the past. Le'Veon Bell, Latavius Murray, Doug Martin, Todd Gurley, "breakout star" Travis Kelce, Brees being his usual dominant self, these were all fantasy dawgs. What a fun year.
I'm being reminded of so much that I forgot about. Amazing stuff. Miss this time period.
Let's go. I LOVE these videos.
When cam Newton didn't jump on that fumble the football gods cursed him forever.
God that season was amazing. Love the deep dives videos!
As a Vikes fan, I forgot that we won the North
That Walsh shank game me PTSD so bad my mind just erased this season from my memory
Edit: Also if anyone was confused about how Brockweiler (bark bark) was able to fleece so many teams out of money, this season is why.
First time watching your channel very funny video that was quite a season
Make one of these for every season!
We all know you are doing this to take your mind off the 2022 Denver Bronchos, and we love you for it.
Walking my dog in Wash Park 😂 laughin’ WITH you
I mostly remember that Patriots/Broncos playoffs game where Manning kept throwing the world's slowest passes...with perfect accuracy to his guys. Never seen anything like it.
I'll always remember that Super Bowl. I was working at GameStop at that time. Sundays are always short days, so there's usually only a single manager that works from open to close on Sundays plus an additional employee that will come in for the last few hours to help close. I was meant to be that manager on SB Sunday but I woke up feeling sick as a dog that day. So did my dad. We both ended up camping out in the living room dozing on and off through the pre-game coverage. Being sick sucked but it was fun spending a day with my dad while watching a really entertaining SB.
Hey Brandon, this is great
When Denver beat NE on Sunday Night Football in the snow and then again in the AFC Championship game, I knew they were going to win the Super Bowl over Carolina. 🙌
What an amazing defense that year 🚫✈️ we’ll never see that side of the ball carry a team ALL the way to a Championship 🏆 ever again!
Respect to the 2000 Ravens Defense too ✊
For the record... I've always hated Colin Kaepernick
Lmaooo do more of these, this is Hilarious
3:17 lmfao Brandon “Don’t tread on me” Perna
PLEASE MAKE MORE OF THESE
Hey Brandon just landed in dever to watch the broncos vs 49rs hope to see u at the game
Die hard cardinals fan, was a great season. I miss that team every Sunday, until the NFC Championship game.
Same 😢
Brutal year for my Niners. Never forget Honey Badger saying we knew what was coming from Kaepernick in that 47-7 drubbing. 4 INTs including 2 pick 6's.
i agree with you. the 2015 NFL season will never happen again
No mention of the 10 win jets still missing the playoffs

“Eddie I haven’t discovered 5 guys Lacy “ 😂😂
Good content Perna 👌
I have no memory of Shurmur stepping in from Chip Kelly the last game of the season lol
That's you at 3:17 lol 😆
Love it man.
it gave me great joy seeing cam newton get permanant "von miller" flashes everytime he got sacked afterwards
Great Video
People have forgotten that the Blair Walsh missed field goal (and the Billy Cundiff one in 2011) were real life Ray Finkle situations where the holders failed to get the laces on the opposite side of the kicking surface. As a side note, the Broncos are going through the longest Super Bowl hangover in history - 8 years and counting of missed playoff appearances.
I enjoyed this, can do other years as well
After listening too this I really hope you do the 2017 - 2018 season.
Was the dab really that many years ago? I’m so old
It's crazy how the top 7 scoring offenses of all time didn't win the super bowl.
no joke when you said helping jeff fischer to... my mind said a 7 and 9 season, just as you said you guessed it. hilarious
Damn, CJ Anderson was a beast in 2015!!
This is awesome! Now can we do 2014?
I feel like the latest season with this much entertainment was 2019. You should do an in depth on that one
I have never seen a QB like Peyton Manning in 2015 still take a team to a Super Bowl win. His stats wouldn’t keep him as a starter in the 70’s, let alone this decade.
Yet somehow the team with the 4th best defense in the league got 12 wins with a QB throwing 9TDs and 17 INT. Always felt like something fishy got them that Super Bowl. 🤷♂️
I have always believed that Manning was handed that ring. There was too much going on that was hinky, to the point where it becomes unbelievable.
The broncos had the number one best defense in the league
We held Aaron Rodgers to 77 passing yards one game, Id say that's a top 2 defense
Lmao 4th best defense that year. Newsflash, that was a top defense of ALL TIME
As this being my first year of NFL, as a steelers fan, the first game I ever watched, was Vick’s W against the chargers, dam was this a wild first season
I'm just here to shout out your selfie at 3:16, magnificent touch
I've been watching this channel since the 2015 season. Came for the Broncos. Stayed for the jokes. I cannot believe that it's has 7 years. Keep up the great work!
I thought the red rider BB gun joke was hilarious 😂
Subscribed because you're a Bronco fan.
Pause it right at 7:37. You will see actual footage of Sean McVay on the FootballComSkins. A rare sight
The Steven seagal comment tho 😂
