Not going to lie but I chuckled when you plugged the sensor in and it immediately died. Nothing beats the feeling of finding the culprit.

Be sure to update the injector codes in Forscan if you kept the original PCM in place. Nice to hear it running

8:02 That's the EVAP purge system that causes so many issues on USDM cars. My fitting on cold side boost pipe was broken by one of the Ford dealers that worked on my car, and glued it back on. Its leaking now, with engine warnings and CEL active, so trying to find a way to patch it up properly now.
I had exactly the same problem with that fiesta St I put the engine in couple weeks back. Its not a bad sensor you had an air lock under it, it took me a while to find it but as soon as I let the air out it ran perfectly like yours. Glad it’s sorted.
My first impression was air lock in it. Il swap it back to verify if it works. Thanks.

A moment of relief there! I gotta say your shortcomings as such have given lots of info on my own car, should and when issues arise so cheers Steve! 85K on my engine (stock) and it has only suffered various leaks from seals and gaskets so far

Well chuffed for you to get the new Engine in! With regards to that last plug with the Orange rubber seal I believe it’s for the diaphragm for the fuel tank? Got one of my MK6 Duratec ST 👍
