Positive affirmations to our hair is very important, I think a lot of black afro texture haired women are taught to speak negatively about our own hair based on our environments whom of which do not understand how it grows otherwise. This Is great!!!
Yes, sadly we have used harsh words of ingratitude to our hair because we were conditioned to look down on our beautiful God-given hair. Gratitude speaks volume 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Chris you got me when you said genesis did it , and people think you just cross your legs, 😅 I fell out laughing lol ... and was in the mirror during my hair on wash day I couldn't stop laughing 😆 but you're right, that's is how people think and not giving credit that , that took a lot of hard work to get your hair, and daughters that beautiful .keep it up, some really don't understand what it really takes to have beautiful hair 😊
My hair was so dry and brittle. Then I remembered I have a steamer in the basement so I had previously washed my hair about 2 days ago so I went and set my steamer up put deep conditioner in my hair and sat under the steamer for as long as possible. When I was done my hair was so soft and curly and it wasn’t puffy meaning my cuttile😢wasn’t lifted. Seeing my hair so beautiful reminded me of my childhood, I’ll definitely steam every wash day from now on
Since I started following you my hair has doubled. I am trying to improve the growth now. I discovered I have not been deep conditioning my hair. I will deep condition from now henceforth. Thanks.
Try out what works best for you. but i think they mean if you use oil, you have to follow the steps properly because if not it can lead to greater damage. Example. Don't leave the oil over night, don't brush your hair when you have oil inside(detangle before) and so on. You gotta know how to handle your hair with oil in it. Oil has so much to offer to you
Use olive oil. You can hardly go wrong with olive oil as it helps soften the hair and treats your scalp. Coconut oil over time dries out my hair. Oils, especially when natural, are of a greater benefit compared to formulated chemicals added to the hair. Herbs infused in oil will condition not only your hair but also the scalp, and you will love the results in a few months' time.
Look into the comedogenic scale. It depends on the type of oil, some are moisturising and light enough to penetrate (e.g. jojoba oil, argon oil for scalp) some are heavier so you may want to consider them only for locking in moisture/use on your strands (i.e. avocado oil, moringa oil). Again best to test test test
Ah thanks for this video. I never thought of speaking positive affirmations to my hair. I’ll try it. I’ve been having a bit of itchy scalp. I’ve been following your regime but scalp tends to be itchy after exercising. Is there anything you can recommend as I wash my hair every 2 weeks? Thanks 😊
Try detoxing your scalp often and add an exfoliating scalp serum to your scalp care routine. Also use smoothing oils and serums that'd add hydration, moisture and relief to the scalp.
Almost relaxed my hair today😢 Felt frustrated because my hair is not so long to style it beautifully for now. I have tried twists but i feel it makes my face look dull, and the twists don't relax down.
Only 2 years ago my hair was too short to twist. I lost my hair to chemo and was bald in 2021. I simply pampered my hair by keeping it moisturized and wore it loose with satin head bands until it was long enough to flat twist. Today my hair is shoulder length! Patience, herbal treatments, protein treatments, moisture and sealing the moisture. This is how I retained my length
Relaxer is not the solution. If the twist doesn't stay down cos the hair isn't long enough for twists yet, moisturise your hair and wear it out till you have enough length for twists. Use hair accessories to make wearing your natural hair fun
I don't get ssk as I keep my hair stretched in twists always. The idea is to keep your hair stretched...twists help. And don't wear your hair out much if your hair is prone to ssk..ensure it's always in twists or tension free plaits/cornrows.

Hi I have thin fine hair can I use the these you speak of for my hair. I know my hair will not get thicker. What do you think i can do.
Yes you can. Also use herbal teas on your hair. Herbal products generally help to improve hair density
Do you rekommend protein treatments??
Yes...do it if you have to
Some videos say stop using oils in your scalp, you're killing your hair. Tis video says use oil for scalp massage. What is the truth?
Try and only keep what works for you cause nobody is in charge of your body.

I would only listen to the content creators who have long and healthy hair similar to my texture. They are living proof of their own advice.

beautiful! how long did it take you to retain this length?
I was about to ask this question before I saw this comment.
Her hair is so gorgeous

Also consider adding Herbal Tea Rinses to your routine and be consistent with it too.

How do you deal with single stranded knots and split ends especially those knots😢 they seem unavoidable
