That by far is the quickest fix and the shortest video I have ever seen on your channel Steve. Way to go!!!!!!! Keep the video's coming.

That's impressive how you cut that hose of without even nicking the threads on the hose bib. You always seem to have another trick up your sleeve!

Great to see Miss Molly at the end! You gave that hose connection a little "how ya doin!"
Leaving one of these hoses connected is the problem with light alloy ends. Dissimilar metals corrosion. Old school quality brass wins.
Made the same mistake with one of those hoses. Always disconnect them when not in use.

Did one of these for my neighbor last month. Same fitting, the neighbor had been at it first. I turned it tight first to crack the corrosion and then worked it loose. The angle grinder was next up if that didn't get it.

Those newer garden hoses don’t come with brass ends. It’s some kind of pot metal. It will corrode just like you see here. Grease up the threads every year, and they won’t corrode in place.

Well done. I saw the title of the video and I thought it was ice frozen and not metal metal frozen when two metals react with each other chemically sometimes they lock.
If it was frozen from the cold I was going to say just heat it with a torch.

If you’re not in a hurry, maybe a shot of PB Blaster the night before might work. Steve is an expert and knows his trade. I learned a lot watching his videos but lack the skill that only hands on experience will bring. If I used a grinder those threads would be nicked and I’d be looking at replacing that frost free hose bib.

the hose fitting stuck because it was not. compatible with the brass faucet . when metals other than brass or copper are connected to brass you develop electrolytic action; in simple terms battery action which causes an
    electrical current between them

I had the same exact problem with a Gilmore hose that had aluminum fittings. Used the Dremel to split the fitting like you did. I was so mad over something that seemed stupid to me. It had a washer on it, was like some kid removed it and super glued it for their entertainment. Being in the pluming repair, how do feel about aluminum to brass connections?

But... why couldn't you have gone into the kitchen, boiled a kettle of water, poured the water over the top of the hose, and just twisted it off? The metal part would have expanded, you see. I learned that trick from a guy at a gas station. It was the middle of winter, I was out of gas, and pulled into a gas station. I gave the guy the key to the gas cap, and he came back and said it was frozen on. I said I gotta get gas - the tank is empty! he said hold on a minute. He went away and came back with a bucket of hot water. He poured it over the gas cap, and it came right off! Whew! Good trick! I'll never forget that! :D ~Cindy! :)
