Great tips! Another tip on the Neutral Protein Filler I saw in a FB group was to put it into a mini spray bottle, and spritz it in your hand with other product to have more control over the "doses." This is how I do it now!
Ooooohhhhh that new background is GLAM! Love it! I'm trying to visualize the two dryers at once thing, do you stop hammock diffusing and just let your hair hang in front of the diffuser that's on the counter? I can't imagine trying to hold all my hair in one hand and I don't even have that much of it!
Thank you! The background actually just looks like blue blobs in person 😂 I was surprised it actually looked like glitter on camera. So for the double diffusing, I have one dryer with the diffuser on it sitting on a counter and I’m in front of it. Then I’m holding the other dryer and hitting my roots. You can also set both dryers down on the table and point them at you while you hammock.
Great tips @Ali! Definitely very helpful content. I’m excited to experiment and implement some of these tips in my routine! I’ve already been using ACV once in a while and I love what it does for my hair 💕
Thank you!! It’s a devacut (dry curl by curl haircut). The color is done professionally so it’s a blend of formulas, unfortunately it doesn’t have a name. I know she uses Redken Shades EQ, though.
Hey Ali.. quick question - do you have any tips for what you do with your hair for exercising? Like how do you secure it without denting it? And what do you do if you get super sweaty- do you wash every time or is there a way to refresh or something after? I started a new workout routine and get super sweaty.. I don’t want to wash my hair everyday after exercising, but is that gross? Help!
Not Ali, but does your hair looks dirty after exercising? If not, skip washing. Also, there is the option of using dry shampoo. I noticed that certain hairstyles are better for workouts than others regarding sweat, I sugest you try a few different ones and see how it goes. At the same time your body will adjust to the workout routine and you will likely sweat less
Using a dry shampoo could help. I ride horses and I’m basically outside all day, so I wash my hair every night. I spray in a detangler after washing and put in a mist that helps curl. In the morning I put in other products to help the curls stay together. A brand that I’d suggest is Design Me because their products aren’t super heavy and they don’t cause damage from washing and reapplying everyday on my hair!
I've just done the quiz, I've got 2c, high porosity hair, high density and coarse hair. I'm still clueless I've always straightened my hair. But I've had enough. Trying to like my natural hair. 🙈
The double hairdryer tip is so ridiculous and smart at the same time, I love it.
Right?! 😂🙌🏼
Great tips Ali!
Thank you, Julie! ❤️
Looveee the brown on you😍 Suits you very well💕
I use those tiny claws too! Love them. But hard to remove.
I love the tiny ones! They’re adorable.

Love this!! Mind if I share it as a tip sometime? I’ll credit it back to you!
@@WavyCurlyAli of course, please do share! Some people spray it directly on their hair that way too
Your hair is beautiful and your tips have been so helpful!

I think the xtava dryer got recalled. That's what the website said
I charge my clients same price with or without a style, just saying.
