Alot of work goes into these videos especially when teaching. I get exhausted just setting up and mixing the paints but it helps people so it's a win win! Great video my friend and as always ty so much for being so supportive😘
As a teacher, I really respect everything that you put into doing this video. Aside from Gathering all the materials, the time commitment is huge. And as many others will agree I'm sure, thank you for doing this and for being so generous with your time and your experience and knowledge.
Thank you so much for testing the UK Owatrol, I felt the Ausi Floetrol was the missing link to my painting disasters. Now I know I was just mixing my Owatrol and paints all wrong. I just love everything that you do but especially thank you for helping and educating us here in the UK. 😘
Amsterdam paint and Australian Floetrol is what is used as a cell activator which you used as your base so I think this is why you got an excessive amount of cells. We don't normally use Amsterdam as our base here as it is too expensive. Us Aussies have trouble with mixing ratios because our Floetrol is like water compared to yours so we get a different result if we try to follow your videos. This has helped many of us see why we have these paint mixing issues so a huge thank you from down under.
OOOHHH Kanella, I have to send you a HUGE THANK YOU from Acrylic pour painters everywhere. This was an amazing and informative video. What a sacrifice you made spending so many hours experimenting and searching till you found the answers... Again Thank you. The paintings are of course amazing. Honestly I can't tell you which one I like best because the more I looked at them, I'd change my mind. So I can't give you enough praise. Go get something to eat, love on your family and get some well deserved rest.
Thank you thank you thank you! - I'm a geek who loves the science behind the paint BUT I don't understand the chemistry. Your work was extremely useful. I'll be adding your notes and the transcript to my pouring notebook. I'm off to go make a glorious mess. Be safe shopping, and ... GO EAT.
They all are gorgeous in their own way American is softer and pretty but it does help everyone around the world to know they can use the other to brands and get gorgeous paintings thanks Kanella for all your hard work they all are gorgeous!!!
As soon as you finished the 1st canvas I said out loud, “ That’s bleep’in Gorgeous!” I love the soft flow of the American/Canadian Flood the best but these all look Amazing 🤩 in their own right. Thanks so much for all your hard work and showing us all the differences!!! It’s appreciated & the colors we perfect!
Kanella, this is a great video. In addition to the obvious differences in the floetrol, the biggest take away for me is the importance with knowing the consistency to be able to predict the results. You are definitely on the top of your game!!! Keep the videos coming, I’ll keep watching. Sending ❤️
Thank you for the time you take to produce these videos. I have been watching them for quite some time, always saying to myself, “I will begin this journey tomorrow”. Today is never tomorrow, but I have cleared several problems as well as excuses. Maybe today is tomorrow!
Thankyou, Thankyou ,Thankyou for taking the time to experiment . As an Australian ,,, I really like the Flood floetrol pour. Just too many cells with Australian floetrol.. Also great to see you using paints that are available in Australia . 🧡💙💕
I'm so glad to hear you say you like the American Floetrol best. It's the only one I use, and for the same reason. I like the soft edges and colors, and not an overwhelming amount of cells. I personally don't like a lot of cells. I like the subtle look. To many cells, and large cells just take over a painting and makes it look yucky. Thank you for the demo. It was interesting and helpful.
Thank you for doing this Kanella ❤️ I’m so glad that the Aus one turned out the way it did lol, I’ve done so many scrapes until I just decided on paint & water for Dutch pours! I think I’ll try the glue & water pm just to see otherwise it will be a costly exercise, again thanks for taking the time to do this ❤️🇦🇺❤️
Really appreciate the effort you took out to show everybody floor trials over it’s beautiful. All three of them are. Thank you very much and have a wonderful evening or day and a wonderful weekend. Thank you for being. You
Thank you so much for the demo Kanella. As an Aussie, I have been waiting with bated breath to see your ratios for the Aussie flo. I was so interested to see that you added no water to the flo, as I find I can’t seem to push it around on my canvas without some H2O in my mix. Will go back and try again. I also try adding no flo to a few colours to reduce that abundance of cells. Thanks for all the time you take to teach us what you know and learn xx
This was such an interesting video Kanella. I live in the UK and can easily get Owetrol but the others are extremely expensive to buy. I always thought the Owetrol was a really inferior product but you proved that it can really produce a good piece of art. Thank you and I will keep practicing x
Wow! 🙀 I super love your 🖌 art 🎨 videos🎥, they are so 📚 educational🎓. You are setting the goals higher and higher each time. This is what I wanted to know. Thank you for your experiments and valuable time.
My favorite was the Owetrol, then American the. Australian. But the Aussie one would work well when you wanted cells but didn’t want to mess with silicone? Thank you so much for all the time you spent doing the testing. I appreciate it and I think everyone feels the same. ❣️. Maybe when you are rested, a canvas with a combination of all 3 Floetrols….. thank you 🙏
🤣 Kanella, I was watching on my other UA-cam account (my main one) and my battery died!! So charging it and switched over to my secondary account. Now I'm afraid to fast forward 🤣 But I must say, you are so generous with your time and knowledge and essentially are giving us all a free very high level tutorial. I have massive respect for you Kanella!! My favorite is 1) American floetrol, 2) owetrol then 3) the Aus floetrol. The Aus looks like a gorgeous blown out bloom. Owetrol somewhere in middle of it and NA Floetrol.
I loved each one for different effects and reasons. I would use the Australian floetrol for the white sea or beach effects. We need all those hard whites and extra bubbles on the beach. I think that the experiment is a success. Thank you Kanella for putting so much effort and love in to each video.
Vielen lieben Dank für die ausführliche Demonstration 🙏🙏🙏. Die 3 Bilder sind sehr unterschiedlich und doch fantastisch. Meine persönliche Meinung: 1. FLOOD (so soft 😍); 2. OWATROL (tolle Zellen ❣); 3. AUSTRALIA (zu hart). Liebe Grüße aus Deutschland 🇩🇪
I want you to know how much I appreciate all that you do. This video took a lot of time and effort. You are an amazing thoughtful person. I learn so much from you and your videos . My favorite was theovitrol then the floetrol . I live in the US and can only find floetrol but now I wish I can find ovitroel Thank you again for your hard work and time ❤️
Hi Freda ! Owatrol can be found on Amazon $24.95 for 2.5L, also I saw it somewhere recently when I went to get US Floetrol but I don't remember if it was Home Depot, Lowes, Aubuchons.... I know it was a hardware store 🤣 but that's all I got!! It is a bit more pricey than US Floetrol but way cheaper than Aus Floetrol with shipping !! And appears to be worth it!! Good luck!
You are the best at explaining!! Love love love your style!! Feels like you’re in my art studio teaching me!! Thank you for taking your time and support for us beginning this beautiful journey!! 🙏🏼💖
Dear Kanella. Thank you very much for this test. I can only get Owatrol and had a lot of problems . It still didn,t work for me. Now you have given me a way out which i surely try.💐
After drying I think I choose the American one because of the softness and colors appear to be richer. Thank you for taking the time. Has explained many details.
Thank you so much for this video. Appreciate all the time and effort This took for you for putting this out for us. I am in India and all of these 3 floetrols are quite an investment on my budget. This video helps me make not only a calculated buying decision but I also already have the mixing ratios tested by you. This is so very helpful and I hope this message conveyes my gratitude. Honestly you are one of the few artists on here who are not just putting out their art but helping others too in the entire process. A million billion times thankyou for what you do here ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you Kanella for featuring the three different floetrols & for Saving us time & money. I watch to learn & your wisdom & artistic experience..is amazing! Your so talented & honest with your audience..thank you for your time and efforts I appreciate it!💕😉
OMG OMG OMG!!! You are our queen 👑 you should have seen me and wife glued to TV watching this amazing video!!! Thank you so much for taking the time and making it ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Thank you for considering all viewers and using paints available for everyone ❤️ Definitely will use new ratios for Owetrol ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Flood= Ethereal, Aus= Galaxy crisp, Owatrol = Heavenly I think I'm going to try & mix flood & Owatrol. I feel an experiment coming on! My 1st place most educational video on the tube. Much appreciated!
I use the Aussie Floetrol and I have never got as many cells as you did in my Dutch pours, ( personally I love all the cell action) so I will start experimenting with paint brands, I do usually add a small amount of water as well and my ratio of paint is more. Thank you so much for this amazing video, it is very much appreciated.🇦🇺💖🌹
Same here. I've never had cells like that and I use mont marte paints a lot. It was disappointing, too busy and sharp. I wonder why..was it the Amsterdam or 24k? Have you used either? ..I haven't

Have been pouring for nearly 2 years with minimal success so Kanella’s floetrol video was a make or break for me. Result ?? I’m in love. Watched the video twice, made notes and followed the recipe. Thanks again for sharing your artistic know-how and taking the time to put it together for us. Took me nearly 3 hours to do but worth it.
FYI: You said it Very nicely! Your time is valuable and if people don't listen, oh well. Just so you know, your videos are one of the few I watch that I actually do watch every minute of on almost every single one! Sometimes more than once! I find the info in your videos very valuable and I greatly appreciate it! That's part of the reason I watch you ... to learn! #3 was definitely my favorite until it sat for a bit. #1 was very pretty until it ran off the canvas but after it sat a bit, it became a toss up between #1 and #3. I like them both. #2 is pretty but very cell busy. Thanks for all your hard work and determination, Kanella!!! You are appreciated!
Thank you so much Kanella for taking your precious time to teach others how to get started. You're simply amazing and I for one cannot thank you enough. I think I have now enough confidence to get started on my very first flow art. xxx
Me Too! Its 4 months getting materials Id need, but can't get myself started. Scary Stuff! I mixed all my colours today, tonight was the night. Then I found Kanella by chance with Lisa and can't get enough of her. Shes so energetic, enthusiastic and Talented, I love her, this is also my 1st comment EVER! Yes, of course 😢Kanella too, God love her, nice to see Tammy Anderson comment. ❤
This video is amazing. Especially for me a beginner to understand the differences between the different floetrol’s. Thank you for your time in making this amazing video.
Thank you! I've been playing with the Australian Floetrol on coasters and trying the bloom technique and swiping. I've been getting some fun results. I also have been swiping the paint on my table and ending up with awesome skins for jewelry. Win win. 💗 Thank you again for the details and time you share! Hope the dogs had a blast as well. 🐾🦴
OMGOODNESS! … look at the first one the floetrol! … it is a perfect moose head right in the middle … SO CANADIAN 🇨🇦💕 luv it ! … interesting experiment girl … I think my fav is the first one as well .. mostly cuz of the composition (the moose head)
Kanella, The time you spent doing this is so thoughtful for those who use different floetrols. I can only get a different one in my country but I am thinking it is closest to the owatrol. Hope you had a great lunch and put your feet up! :)
This was so fun!!! Seeing how each piece reacted so differently with the different mixtures...AMAZING!!!!Thank you so much Kanella...for all of your hard work!!
Thank you so much for all your hard work. This experiment was so important to a lot of us. So happy owatrol came out so pretty, that's the easiest one for me to get, though not cheap. Love your art!!
Hello Kanella! I thank you so much! 🙏💕💕 You have done such a big affort and I know that you have done also a big favor to all of us in Europe who are watching and loving all your beautiful paints! Thank you for sharing your experiences with all the different kinds of Floetrol! A big hug and many many kisses from Germany! 😘😍🥰😘🥰😍😘🥰😍
Because I have Aussie Floetrol here in NZ I’m going to try playing around with ratios, starting with 1:1:1 Floetrol:paint:water to reduce the cell activity while maintaining the thin consistency and see how that goes.
hi Kanella, thank you so much for this video that you made with so much effort and effort but also with so much enthusiasm! I live in Italy and here I find Owatrol. thank you for explaining and demonstrating the correct proportions for each product!!! You're fantastic! a big hug 🤗
Thank you so much for taking the time to do this for us all, you are so very much appreciated ❤️❤️❤️. It’s so good to know I was not going mad or just downright silly as I tried so hard to follow your recipe and was just never really happy with the results I was getting with our Australian Floetrol. Watching you video I think your Australian recipe wil be good but will be next used with similar colours in various tones with less contrasting colours and might help soften the overall results a bit. Anyway one again thank you so much and I look forward to some time off work soon to give it a go myself. ❤️❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍😍
This is so helpful Kanella. It explains the mystery of ratios, because, using owatrol and trying to follow a US pm mixing tutorial, I couldn't understand why my paints were so thicK!
Huge thanks from the 🇬🇧 You're an amazing artist and teacher, you've given me sooo much help and understanding as a newster to this hobby. I couldn't understand why my attempts were so different and with this fabulous experiment it's given me confidence to carry on after so many unsuccessful hiccups due to using owatrol and its consistency difference. Love all the videos and thanks once again x
Kannella thank you so much for going the extra mile for us. Reading all of these comments, the time and effort you put in clearly does not go unnoticed. I always wondered about the Owatrol. I'm really glad you included that in this experiment. Many blessings to you!
Thank you so very much. You have made it a lot easier for us and now I feel like I can try pouring again. I have been so frustrated because I haven't gotten good results but now I can try using your recipe and maybe I can hang a painting in my living room 😅 🇺🇸
Thanks for this, I use Aussie Floetrol, I've never had that amount of cells, even tried Amsterdam Titanium white as a base and didn't have that amount of tiny cells, out of all the base paints I prefer Liquitex Basics Titanium White. But I also add water to the paint, not all get the same amount of water though.
This is probably the best, in-depth comparison of all three I've found so far ... and I've done a lot of looking. I appreciate your time and efforts that went into putting a video like this together. Yep. Subscribed and rang the bell :)
With the different effects, I wouldn't mix the floetrol, but what do you think? The Aussie and Olle possibly. You know if you have paint left over, or premade bottles and what not that could be doable. My favorite is the Olle.(ollie) I'm calling it that. I feel it deserves a nickname too.
I love them ALL!! Especially the owatrol one which I didn't expect bc I love Australian floetrol. Excellent work Kanella love all your art. I've learned so much from your videos and hopefully I'll be as good as you one day!!
Thank you so much for doing this for everyone, the results are really interesting, all pretty in their own ways. The Flood floetrol certainly produces softer edges. I use Owatrol and I’m really happy with your results. I’m so glad you used Amsterdam and not Artist Loft white. I’m off to order some scales, I eyeball everything 🤦♀️. You’ve worked so hard producing all this, hope you know how much it’s appreciated. ❤️
Thank you so much Kanella for this effort. Glad you have seen our runny our Aussie floetrol is. I have struggled with your recipe because I didn't realise your floetrol was thicker now I am adjusting my recipe. Also I needed to find something to thicken my paints for other techniques. Sure i could just use less floetrol but then you need more paint which can be more expensive. Plus I don't like glue mediums or silicone. I just tried adding a smidge of Liquitex gloss gel medium. It worked. I can now do other styles... yahoo. Thank you thank you...I am not going mad after all.
Thank you so much for ALL of your hard work and dedication Kanella! I watched the WHOLE VIDEO and it was filled with an abundance of information. I agree with you on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place paintings too. You are the best!!! I hope you relaxed and enjoyed your well deserved lunch 😋
I actually copied the videos. There is so much info, I couldn't keep track of it in my head and I had clothes washing going at the same time so I decided to copy it. Thank you, Thank You, Thank You. I truly love your videos. Thank you for taking so much time to teach us how you get your paintings so absolutely beautiful.☺
HOW DARE YOU... I'M A CERTIFIED NUTTY MAD WOMAN!!! THEY WILL REGRET THROWING A SANE WOMAN INTO A HELL ON EARTH!!!! YOU GO KANELLA!!! BTW.... WHERE DID YOU GET YOUR PAINTS FROM??? OH AND THAT APRON??? I THINK THAT'S IT 😳
@@KanellaCiracoArt YOU GOT ME RIGHT FIRST TIME!!! BUT I DON'T TELL LIES LOL...LOTS!!! YOU DESERVE A MEDAL FOR YOUR TALENTS!!! MY KIND OF CLEVER!!! DON'T READ TOO MUCH INTO SLAPS FOR OTHERS 😋
Wow! Thank you for taking all the time to work on this presentation. I’ve been wondering what the difference is for all the “floetrols”. Now it is so clear. Different looks for different types of projects! I prefer not to have too many cells since to me they resemble intestines! Lol. You just can’t unsee it once you see it! Others say caterpillars, so I realize I won’t be buying too much from the Australian floetrol except for the centers of flowers as activators as Sharmin does in Milkyway. This hobby can get so expensive and it helps to know what works best for the designs I want to make.. I hope you got some food and lifted your feet for a while after working so hard to be a blessing to so many who needed this video! Heartfelt thanks!
Aussi flo shouldn't be too thin. There was a bad batch going that was like water. I had one and returned it for a new one. I wonder if you got a bad one.
What consistency would you expect the Aussie product to be Jenny? I’ve not long purchased a bottle but haven’t opened it yet so no idea what it should or shouldn’t be like
Great video Kanella. I am Australian and my floetrol is thick. I get great results and always find the colours are very bright with this medium. Glenis
Hi Kanella from Pensacola, Florida. I'm so glad to have found you and your teachings. Love your paintings, love your techniques! I haven't tried my first painting yet but will in the next 30 days thanks to you. thank you so much.
Here in the UK, Ive always felt that Owetrol was the “Cinderella” of Floetrols, but you’ve just proved how good it is if it’s mixed to your proportions! I’ve made notes! 😉. Thank you so much for all your hard work and the help that you generously give to us xx
Hi everyone - I hope you all find this video helpful. I can’t believe how long it took me to do this from beginning to end! Wowzers lol 😜
Australian one looks better on the blooms only.
I liked them all, but flood floetrol gives a smooth finish look.
Really appreciate the time you put into this video!! It was really helpful!
DuPont paint make flowtroll that clear like water it like aussie one ! And so cheep ! Letting u know
Your time and efforts are greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Alot of work goes into these videos especially when teaching. I get exhausted just setting up and mixing the paints but it helps people so it's a win win! Great video my friend and as always ty so much for being so supportive😘
Thanks Tammy. You’re so right - a lot of work and it’s exhausting but I’m happy to see it’s helping a lot of people. ❤️
Tammy you also constantly do so much and all of your hard work is greatly appreciated 😄 we love you too 😄😘
Ow-a-trol! Yay UK!

Great job Kanella. I too like the American Floetrol best. Thanks for taking the time to do the comparison.
Thank you for putting all of this together, you are very much appreciated and loved by me and many other viewers. This sure helps a lot...
Amazing results. Who would have thunk it!
Thank you thank you thank you! - I'm a geek who loves the science behind the paint BUT I don't understand the chemistry. Your work was extremely useful. I'll be adding your notes and the transcript to my pouring notebook. I'm off to go make a glorious mess.

US/Canadian floetrol is my favorite

The Australian one is heaps better
I agree, they are all so pretty!
Thank you for this video. I have saved it for future reference.
You are a natural at teaching. Your videos are so informative & we appreciate the time & effort you put into your videos . This was great !
Thanks 🙏🏼
Thank you for showing us the difference between the floetrol
45:56 Thanks Kanella! As an Aussie this was brilliant to see and will help me modify my mixes. I adore your art ❤️.
My favorite is the U. S. Floetrol. It’s your kind of art
As soon as you finished the 1st canvas I said out loud, “ That’s bleep’in Gorgeous!”
I love the soft flow of the American/Canadian Flood the best but these all look Amazing 🤩 in their own right.
Thanks so much for all your hard work and showing us all the differences!!! It’s appreciated & the colors we perfect!
Video 63 was my breakthrough video with acrylic pouring, this one is helping me to step up to a new level. Thank you.

❤️ the Flood best.

GRAZIE per tutto quello che fai e hai fatto per noi.
This was such an interesting video Kanella. I live in the UK and can easily get Owetrol but the others are extremely expensive to buy. I always thought the Owetrol was a really inferior product but you proved that it can really produce a good piece of art. Thank you and I will keep practicing x
All 3 are beautiful. A Flo the colors are soft looking. Aussie Flo the colors are bold and edges are sharp which I love as well. Thx for the testing.
Wow! 🙀
I super love your 🖌 art 🎨 videos🎥, they are so 📚 educational🎓. You are setting the goals higher and higher each time. This is what I wanted to know.
Thank you for your experiments and valuable time.
I am FLOORED by the Owatrol!!! Wow!!!
I think I’m going to try to do a piece with just one or two colors with the owatrol.

I hate our Australian Floetrol for the Dutch / hairdryer pours

My favorite one owatrol, floetrol and Australian in that order, beautiful painting wow wow 🤩
Thank you for sharing us the differences in the 3 floetrols. I have a better understanding of them now.
i know you worked your heart out for us, and it shows in your work. beautiful thank you
Thanks heaps for taking the time to do these paintings, much appreciated!❤😊
What a job! It was so professional & a great tutorial. You're a wonderful teacher.
All turned out so pretty my fav is the first one on the left
This was so fun!!! Seeing how each piece reacted so differently with the different mixtures...AMAZING!!!!Thank you so much Kanella...for all of your hard work!!
Thanks for all your time,..... velly velly intellestink!
Thank you so much for all your hard work. This experiment was so important to a lot of us. So happy owatrol came out so pretty, that's the easiest one for me to get, though not cheap. Love your art!!
Very interesting. Thank you for all your efforts. It is much appreciated. And you have 3 new pieces to sell!!
The edges are more defined. Has a flames like look, and American/Canadian floetrol looks soft like a river ;)
No true definition on the other two!!!!
Hello Kanella!
I thank you so much! 🙏💕💕
You have done such a big affort and I know that you have done also a big favor to all of us in Europe who are watching and loving all your beautiful paints!
That demonstration was so interesting and all of them turned out so beautiful! I absolutely love your work!
Do like the softer look with Flood!
This is probably the best, in-depth comparison of all three I've found so far ... and I've done a lot of looking. I appreciate your time and efforts that went into putting a video like this together. Yep. Subscribed and rang the bell :)
Why thank you ☺️
Thank you Mrs. Kanella. This has been very helpful. I'm glad y'all are finally out of lock down, even it's with restriction. Be safe.👍
All 3 are stunning! Thanks ❤👍👀
I love them ALL!! Especially the owatrol one which I didn't expect bc I love Australian floetrol. Excellent work Kanella love all your art. I've learned so much from your videos and hopefully I'll be as good as you one day!!
Great Video I like the ovation pouring medium
Thank you so much for doing this for everyone, the results are really interesting, all pretty in their own ways. The Flood floetrol certainly produces softer edges. I use Owatrol and I’m really happy with your results. I’m so glad you used Amsterdam and not Artist Loft white. I’m off to order some scales, I eyeball everything 🤦♀️. You’ve worked so hard producing all this, hope you know how much it’s appreciated. ❤️
Are you in Canada and if so where do you purchase your Owatrol?
@@cheryl5416 no, I’m in the UK.
“I shook it like a mad woman!” 😂😂
HOW DARE YOU... I'M A CERTIFIED NUTTY MAD WOMAN!!!
THEY WILL REGRET THROWING A SANE WOMAN INTO A HELL ON EARTH!!!!
YOU GO KANELLA!!!
BTW.... WHERE DID YOU GET YOUR PAINTS FROM???
OH AND THAT APRON???
I THINK THAT'S IT 😳
Bhahahahha 😂
@@lorrainecouch348 I mention in the video where my paints are from 😉
As for the apron - it was a gift from a student of mine.
@@KanellaCiracoArt I LOVE YOUR WORK... SOMETIMES I CAN BE A TAD NAUGHTY!!! LOL 🙃🤪
@@KanellaCiracoArt YOU GOT ME RIGHT FIRST TIME!!!

I have thought intestines as well so you're not alone.. Lol 😂
Glenis
Thanks very very much Kanella!!! You are so generous!!! Please know you're appreciated a great deal!!! Much love!!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏
wonderful job Kanella. Many thanks 😊
I touch it all the time and get paint all over me. I really enjoyed you taking the time to do this video. thank you!
I love the last one because it has the cells and softness to love it all are nice
