- With the postponing of the 24 Hours of Nürburgring, and the recent eSports variant taking place in iRacing, I decided to condense the event down to 24 minutes in my favourite racing simulator. We're driving in a glorious Porsche 911 GT3 R, wrangling a mixed grid of GT3 cars, including McLaren, Audi, BMW, Radical, Chevrolet and others. Now you can enjoy the glory of day/night endurance racing in all the space of a quick lunch break!

Looking back on this video, take note of how the car moves and the transmission sound flickers over certain bumps, crests, corners etc. Note how it correlates with real-life Porsche GT3 onboards. It's one of the reasons I love this sim and in particular this track and laser scan so much. You could give me the GT car pack, Nordschleife and I would be perfectly entertained for the next 5 years.
I love rFactor2 for having the best single player offline races. This sim is awesome.
Yes please, I would love to see more on the Nurburgring. I've spent many many hours on the RF2 Nordschleifer now. Each few sessions I'm learning something new and expect this to continue... for ever. Would particularly like to hear about your most/least favorite sections/corners, how you tackle them and in particular, how you found them in real life. PS. Gotta say it mate... your rig and your actual Nords time etc. kinda spark the green eyed monster in me. But, good luck to you, thanks for making great content and for sharing your good fortune .
Exceptional drive, fantastic consistency under pressure and whilst hosting the show!!! Really enjoyed this.....thank you.
I love coincidences - here I am watching a lap of Nürburgring while listening to remastered Meshuggah, only to see that you are the creator of both...amazing :D
Love to see more videos like this
@Ermin Hamidovic I'm new to your channel but I share the passion for the rF2, which is my Sim of choice for last 7 years. I have a couple corrections to what you are talking about in the video. 1. Porsche's fuel tanks are in the front of the car, so the car has the most rake at the beginning of the race, and with the passage of time the front lifts, decreasing the rake. 2. Soft tires for the GT3 cars last for about an hour in the rF2, as long as you set the pressures correct, unless you set the tire wear to a multiplied value, so there should be no worries they would last a 24 minute long race. Keep up the good work.
I know exactly how many micro corrections youre doing in that high speed section.. that car is tough to drive smoothly around this track.. nice work man!!!
„the rFactor ai is just homicidal“….. thx for making my day….. :-)
I just did 4 laps of the nordschleife in the NSX-R, from morning to dusk, pushing near the limit and not a single crash, nothing comes close to rFactor 2. I also have PC2, AMS2, ACC and this by far is the best sim experience I had.
Carpenter Brut? Nice choice!
Bit late to the party, but the fuel tank is at the front of the car in the 911, so the rear end won't get higher like you said ;)
love 2 c the bathurst track on here love it
Incredible driving man! Recently got the Reverb G2 VR for racing and coming from project cars 2, to AC, and just yesterday Rfactor... Holy cow is Rfactor a different driving experience. Even just the way the car moves towards you when you brake or to the side when u turn or back when you accelerate. I noticed like 100 more details driving in VR in rfactor than the other 2. The graphics are somewhat potato compared to PJC2 but love your rfactor 2 stuff! You're how i found the game and its been great so far! Fun watch! Subbed! How do you feel Rfactor vs AC driving wise? Thanks!
Samll tipp ermin: try out the bilster Berg circuit, it is available in Raceroom, it is a kind of mini version of the nordschleife, not kidding
All the way with green hell. Xo.
Yes please, do the track guide, I'll benefit most especially sections between the two carrousels, I lose a lot of time there, hard to be consistent for me there...
Damnit! Your videos made me buy rFactor 2 (pausing AC, AMS 2 and ACC for a while).... now, to make the interface and game itself look good (first impression when comparing to AC and ACC was not the best.....)
I just bought AMS2, would this be worth buying as well?
Anyone else thinks that the day to night and night to day light transitions in rFactor 2 are too abrupt no matter what the time acceleration is?
