You had me chuckling in this one Matt, especially the comments about your Mum. Great ideas, Thanks.
Thank you
Grandson is getting a pallet wood and bed slat treasure chest. 600wx520dx700hmm. Just the tea oil coat after coat to go. Oh, and steel hinges as I forgot cast iron doesn't like to bend cold. Sigh. Next project is a spice rack. Take care & stay safe Matt. P.S. Yer mum is mistaken.
Hi Matt, that was another great idea from your good self, and yes it will make a exceptional Christmas gift, best regards from a Kiwi living in Australia 👌👍👌👍👌👍
I love how the 'simple' seed trays came out. With the stain and the handles they have me imagining a greenhouse somewhere in the corner of a walled garden and a head gardner potting out the seedlings...and all from an old pallet. Nice one Matt.
Thank you
Great video and idea thanks for sharing your time 🍺👍👍
Thank you Brian
Nice one Matt I love the way you said I am organize here is one that I made earlier it reminded me of art attack with neil buchanan and this has got me thinking about my job now I am
A painter and decorator and as much as I love that I love wood working but I never seen anything for storing the brushes or rollers so maybe that might be a good idea to do and now you have told us about that site about all the magazines I will have a look and tell my mate who loves to read
I doubted the stain on the trays, I was wrong colour really worked. Recon some rounded corners for that worn look maybe? Tray project would also work for kids getting into woodworking for grandparents 👍🏻
Nice ideas Matt.
That brought back memories of when I used to work as a gardener in my long distant youth. We used to make all our seed trays but we used much thinner sides and bottoms
Thank you
Brilliant mate, I always love your no-frills approach to all your projects... not a Festool in sight, just like the rest of us mere mortals. By the way can you tell me where I can get a pair of 'saccatiers' from? I'm sure my wife would love some, priceless. 🤣🤣
👍👍👍. Thanks
Thank you
Fun little projects Matt, the one on the receiving end of these gifts will love them. Especially if it comes with that huge bag of compost! 😄😄🎁
Haha I hope they don’t rip the compost open
Nice to get a present that actually makes you soil yourself!@@Badgerworkshop
love a good pallet project 👌🤓
Me to
I know a number of people who would appreciate those gifts Matt, so thanks for the inspiration !
That trug has an impressive capacity, it would be pretty heavy when full up with lovely produce !
Thank you
I eagerly await your videos. I love them. Creative and witty
Thank you very much
No worries
Enjoyed the low angle close-up of punching the nails Matt. You’re an artist with the camera as well as the pallet. 🎞️ 🪚
Thank you. Much appreciated
Your mom doesn't need to see HOW you make it, you'll make it FOR her anyway! ;) Good idea's, perhaps another idea for you to make for yourself, a greenhouse?
When I sort the garden I would like one
I definitely don't think you're boring! Lovely gift ideas.
Thank you. Glad someone doesn’t
Hi Matt, very nice and very handy for the garden, pallet wood come's up really well with stain and to give that worn aged look. Great little project all you need now is some soil and compost ready for the seedlings. Great video take care🌱👍
Thank you. I look forward to growing some bits
A brilliant couple of ideas for presents and well made
Thank you very much
Fair comment Matt.
These are great ideas Matt! Thanks for talking about getting inspiration from Readly - going to give it a whirl!
Thank you very much
Nice design and the trays look so much better than plastic 👍.Only one little gripe, the holes you drilled in the slats for the trug are clearance holes not pilot holes👍
Wonderful matt! Also, it seems you will maken it to 50k subscribers this year! Well deserved!
Thank you. Yes getting close
Really beautiful work, Matt! 😃
I really liked both ideas!!!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Thank you
Great watch ….stacking up them brownie points with mum ….
Thank you very much
Blue Peter style; always have something prepared earlier👍
It was one of my favourite tv shows
@@Badgerworkshop As a teacher, I use an old clip from a Blue Peter Christmas Special on the WW1 Christmas Truce in my English classes, the students love it and are always amazed this truly happened. Here in the Netherlands WW1 is a bit forgotten so to speak...
And not a bit of sticky backed plastic in sight 🙂
Nice projects. Can I ask what make your table saw is please
Hi Matt. Please don’t take this as a criticism, but when I made mine I used a part of an old broom handle. Please keep your videos coming I enjoy them very much.
I like to use what I have on hand
I was referring to the handle for the trug
Yes I understand
Great vid Matt. I think I’ve got a similar table saw (Bosch GTS 10xc). Can I be cheeky and ask what that great looking mitre fence is? it looks way better than the stock Bosch item ! Cheers 😊
It’s made by JessEm but I’m not sure it will fit your saw
Reassuringly boring...Just how I like it😁 Apparently, one of my girlfriend's colleagues listens to my videos to help her get to sleep😂 At least it counts as a view I suppose! Great little ideas Matt.👍
Haha she did not have to tell you that.
@@Badgerworkshoptrue, but I guess... That's what she said?
Typical mam attitude 😂
To be fair I’m not that interested in her hobbies
