  • Hey guys,
FInally, the most requested is up. The Professional Engineer (P.Eng) license process is based on 5 stages that I have explained in this video step-by-step. I have also provided the extra information based on my personal experience that will be hard to find online because when I was in the process of P.Eng, I learnt a lot of things that I have shared in this video with you all.
I am sure you will find this video very helpful for you to get your P.Eng license. You can also apply for your P.Eng if you have COPR and haven't landed in Canada to save the time of your application process. However, I would recommend starting your application when you land in Canada because if you apply to P.Eng within six months of your landing then your application fee will be waived.
    Good Luck!

As I have talked to certain professionals in Canada and they didn’t understand the work I have done back home. Probably because of difference in terminologies we use in India. Any advise on WER?

Hi Amruta, Thanks for posting this video. Can you please make one video on the Difference between OACETT and PEO EIT or any other province body which gives comparatively easy to get licensed?
Someone new immigrant to Canada of course didn’t have a year of Canadian experience so, we need to go the PEO EIT route. Here, I mentioned OACETT because if we qualified for that then they also provide Ontario Engineering Technologist Title to get a job in Canada.
I don’t know if OACETT Title helpful to get a job or P.Eng but if you know more details then please let me know.
I do have one more question to following is that OACETT require IEPPE/PPE and PEO require NPPE. If you check both exams are same but both are not acceptable in each other body. Do you have any idea how to sort out this thing?
    Thanks in advance!

      Hi,
I am glad that you found my videos helpful. Thank you 🙏🏻
      Answer to your question.
First there isn’t any exam for EIT. EIT is a different story that I will explain in one of my upcoming videos.
There are only 2 types of exams for P.Eng. 1. Technical exams, which will be assigned if you don’t meet academic requirements. 2. PPE (Professional Practice Exam).
None of them will be “open book”.
      Good Luck ☺️
