Finally, the most requested video in Hindi is up. The Professional Engineer (P.Eng) license process is based on 5 stages that I have explained in this video step-by-step. I have also provided the extra information based on my personal experience that will be hard to find online because when I was in the process of P.Eng, I learnt a lot of things that I have shared in this video with you all.
I am sure you will find this video very helpful for you to get your P.Eng license. You can also apply for your P.Eng if you have COPR and haven't landed in Canada to save the time of your application process. However, I would recommend starting your application when you land in Canada because if you apply to P.Eng within six months of your landing then your application fee will be waived. I have explained the complete process of me becoming an EIT (Engineer In Training) in Canada.

1) I have also heard about basic studies examination as well. do we need to appear for that exam as well along with subject specific?
2) are this CEP and BSE exam open book or closed book?

1. The need for the BSE may vary based on applicant’s circumstances. PEO will inform the applicant if it is required.
2. The format of the CEP (Confirmatory Examination Program) and BSE exams, whether open book or closed book, may depend on the specific exam and guidelines set by PEO. It is important to refer to the letter (official guidelines and resources) provided by PEO.

1. What happens when you score for example 460 as your total score and the draw that takes place and the cut of is 463 this time but the next draw the cut off is 455? Will you still get an ITA because you qualify in the next draw or do you have to create a new profile everytime before a draw takes place?

I have done my bachelors and Master In chemical Engineering from India and currently doing my 2 years PG course in Energy Management from Canada (Conestoga College)
So my education would be counted in NON-CEAB and I need to write 4 technical exam?
OR
I should find a work in a Chemical or Pharma company and work under a PENG for 4-5 years and then skip the technical exam by asking for an interview based on my Canadian work experience
Am I right?
Also one more question
If someone has done his bachelors from India and then a Master degree from Canadian University then his education would be counted in CEAB OR NON-CEAB?
Hi,
Conestoga College Ontario is a CEAB institute. The applicants get exempted from the technical exams if they have masters degree in engineering from a Canadian CEAB institute and it doesn’t matter if their bachelor degree is from any other country.

First of all thank you very much for this explanation. It is great help. I applied for PEng license two week ago I paid fees too with PEO with yes mark on EIT programme option .Do I have to go through exam too if I am willing to works as EIT for 3 years?

Thanks for your very informative and detailed video.
I have 9 yrs of foreign work exp from India and a bachelor's engineering degree from India (College not listed in Washington Accord nor in the accredited college list). I have recently completed my Master of Engineering in a CEAB accredited University in November 2021. Will I get exemption from technical exams if I apply for EIT and P.Eng? Also am I eligible for the Financial Credit Program (I am a PR but in the application form, it is mentioned that it is applicable for CEAB Undergraduate course only. Is there any chance of getting FCP approved for Masters CEAB approved course. ) More than FCP, My main focus is to get technical exam exemption, Do you think I have any chance for getting technical exam exemption? Kindly reply
