Just wanted to say Thank You!! My son broke off a piece of charger in my ipad pro (the only device he’s allowed to play Roblox on). This school holiday has been tough without the use of that iPad. Ten minutes and your video and now I’m his hero and you are mine!! Thanks again, it worked like a charm!
thank you for the easy DIY!!! I thought my daughters iPad was gone forever. She uses it for communication...so we were heartbroken.Following your instructions, that's exactly what I pulled out of the port. Youre the best!!
OMG OMG OMG bro you just changed my life in like 3 minutes it’s a lil hard if you don’t got the right tools but it will take a bit longer if you use a push pin THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey guys, if you’re ipad’s charger is the whole charging part and can’t find any of these materials at home just get a paper clip and then open the paper clip, turn the paper clip to the side, put two fingers on the charger where your paper clip should be and pull. This Worked For Me In 5 Seconds
Thank you so much for your video. We had a little girl in tears over her ipad that couldn't charge because part of the adapter was stuck in the port. It was your video that truly saved the day and brought smiles to a child. What great value you've brought to the world. Thank you so much.
thank you so much! I drove to an apple store and they told me I had to wait 3 hours to see a genius person and that they probably wouldn't be able to help me, so happy to have found this video and i fixed my ipad in less than a minute!!
Thank you so much for making this video!! I actually brought my iPad into the apple store and they told me I would have to replace the whole iPad. But then I found your video and I tried this technique. It definitely took me a couple minutes, but it worked! I can't tell you how much I appreciate this resource. You might be a hero. 👏🏼
Unfortunately I didn’t have any small enough tools to hand. I did however have superglue and the culprit lead. Using the tiniest amount, like slightly rub it on the glue nozzle, I got it out with ease.
Amazing! Great advice. I tried for a while to get the piece out. Then I found this video and it took me a whopping 20 seconds to remove it and get the phone charging again (with a new charger of course haha).
On holiday when we had our charger cable break in the charge port. Found safety pin in first aid kit, bought some thin nosed tweezers from supermarket. Watched your video twice, took a deep breath then began the delicate procedure to remove the broken bit. Wow, it worked exactly as you described, and took about the same time as your brilliant video. Thank you very much. iPad now on charge, with new cable and all is well in the world.
it would be so nice if you could respond!! so basically im doing this but i only got one of he sides out. what im seeing is a black part and a white part, which one do i take out cause im really confused and i font wanna break my ipad!!!
Worked like a charm - the pin was small but sturdy enough to force the two sides out of the corners and it was as simple as lifting it up and out of there 👏🏼
Thanks so much for the video!! My daughter's iphone had a piece of the charger broken off inside the charging port exactly like yours. Between the two of us working on it using your instructions, we got the piece out and her phone can charge now.
YESSS tysm! I was so scared I wouldn’t be able to do it because I don’t have tweezers but I just kept using the push pin and messing with it, worked like a charm!
what about when the whole top part gets in? This is helpful, however, only works when its only one little part. Can you please make a tutorial about if the whole top part of a iPad charger gets stuck in? thanks!-
Umm when I unplug it it’s charging and uncharging. I searched a solution but only this came up. It’s very annoying and I think it’s because of my case even tho it’s put on right. Do you know what might be causing it?
I had the same issue Unfortunately the charging port had to be replaced but that created another problem. The home button stopped working. I would back up everything on it as soon as possible and then take it to a repair shop.
Lifesaver. I tried with tweezers last night and made no headway. I took it to AT&T today; he tried with a bobby pin and couldn't get it. I came home, disappointed, and just decided to google it. I was surprised to see that this is such a common problem. I chose this vid and am so happy. I used a sewing needle and a smaller set of tweezers. It came out in two pieces, but it's good to go now. THANK YOU!
I saw another video that said use a seam ripper but I couldn't figure it out. But when you said to get it from an angle, I was able to get it out. I didn't even need tweezers. Thank you.
CAN I CALL YOU MY SAVIOR??!?!? apple AND best buy told me they couldn't do anything except replace the model 🙄 after 30-35 mins of jiggling and finessing the piece finally came out & it was really stuck in there! a million thank yousssss 👏👏👏👏
I was so happy that this worked it doesn’t have to be a safety pin just something that small and sharp or small enough to get in the charging port to get the piece out
Thank you so much. This video was a life saver! I used a very thin sewing needle, pried at one side until it slide to an angle, and the entire thing flipped out.
here to say thanks a lot. I used only sewing needle to get it out. none of the tool worked before cuz I didn't have that kind of tweezer. so I bought it online and was waiting for it to be delivered but thanks to you, I tried with needle and it worked in a minute.
hello i just saw this video and its not working for me. i used a needle and i think its clean inside the charging port. mines not charging for a week. i used a tooth brush. used a hair dryer but its not working. when i plug in my changer to my ipad, it is loose. can u pls help me? i have important things in my ipad
Thank you! I needed this, me and my siblings were playing on the iPad and my sibling pulled out the charger and said that he wanted to go to the other room and then when we got there we tried to plug-in another charger but failed and we didn’t know what to do. Should work as long as you do not end up breaking the pin or tooth pick in the port. Power off the device before working on it. I just tried with the safety pin and it worked so I shared the video.

Hi? I have a question, what if you don’t have tweezers for this?
Well you can use fingers or use something that will latch on to the broken parts.
