Use this technique at your own risk I am not liable to any damage you cause to your phone. Do not push too hard on the pin when you attempt to remove any broken charger pieces in your phone’s charging port. Instead try to approach picking the broken piece at a different angle, and use leverage to your advantage.
1. Power off your phone
2. Use threading/sewing needle to pry the broken charging cable from the SIDES of the charging port
3. Video is made to help you to see the piece that needs to be removed from the charging port so that you can plug in new charging cables into your iPhone again
4. Power phone back on after the broken charging cable (metal C piece) is removed
5. Insert a new power cable to see if the phone will charge again.
When a cheaper iPhone charger breaks off in your phones charging port, you cannot charge your phone. That is unless you have a newer model that allows wireless charging. Even then it is a hassle.
There are some tutorials online that tell you to put glue or other harmful materials into your phone that can damage the port. Please don’t do that to your phone.
Instead (with the phone powered off!) take a threading or sewing needle and pry the clip that gets stuck from the sides of the charging port. It likely will twist giving you some clear access to then pop it out of the phone.
Out of all vids that I have found this is the best advice I’ve seen about this. For all the people that are skeptical about this I say to just do it. I did and it took me about 10 seconds to do it
Quick question because this just happened yoe with my charging case point breaking off in it. I tried tweezers and they r too big. We're u able to keep ahold of the "pin"? Thanks in advance!
@@annaclayton1408 I know I tried holding the pin but it’s really hard.
@@annaclayton1408 my needle broke and got stuck inside with the charger top
you are actually a hero its the middle of the night and i thought my phone was gone if i hadn't found this video i don't know what i would have done thank you so so much man
tysm bruh i was so stressed and this worked perfect 😭😭 only using apple chargers from now on
Definitely avoid the cheapo chargers, sometimes we all need to learn the hard way. Glad it worked!
My apple charger broke into it😭

Legend just fixed my wife’s phone this way
Exactly what i needed. The rest of the videos on here only pertain to the entire plug snapping off. That little “staple” piece is a bugger. Thanks, you saved me time and money going to get it repaired.👍🏼
Straight to the point. No yapping about random stuff. Helped. Love this
So I was quoted £65 for a repair. Watched this video and fixed it in 2 mins. Much appreciated mate. Thanks.
Bro I was so doubtful that this would work and I’ve been trying for an hour, watched this video and got it out in a few seconds your a life savior😭🙏
Solid, glad this helped you out!
I was so stressed out all day at work today about my phone not being able to charge. I clicked on this video and it was exactly what the problem was 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
This solution was 100% right on. The charger tip was removed in under a minute.
This is the best video ever !!! Seriously I was so stressed after hours of figuring out how to fix my phone, specially because I’m a mother of 3 and had a lot of appointments scheduled for the week to come. Search for help and this video popped up, took me 20 seconds and the problem was solved . Salute to you and thank you so much for such a amazing tip ❤❤❤
Happy Mother’s Day, glad this helped you out.
Switched to a magsafe charger a few weeks ago because I didn’t think there was an inexpensive solution, but it’s charging slow and keeps getting hot. Searched YT not expecting to find anything, and you came up with exactly my problem and quick to the point. Took me a little bit longer because I first used a flimsy needle, but when I switched to a bigger one it came out in like 2 minutes! Thank you very much!
@@jenfish365 that’s great, I haven’t had luck with MagSafe chargers unless it was an apple or Belkin, glad you can use the actual charging port again!
it is 4 AM. i was already defeated an backuping everything, when i decided to look for my problem on yt. by god’s will i found your video and i took the piece out in like 5 minutes. i owe you my phone
@@aurycas really glad it worked for you!
this only took 5 minutes for me, the same thing happened to my ipad and i haven't use it for 1 week and i was too scared to tell my dad about this but i'm glad i found this tutorial, thank you so much!

I never comment on anything, but this just saved me from spending a lot to bring it somewhere to get fixed. I did this and the piece came out in a couple minutes. Thanks!
Yes! Thank you! You were direct and straight to the point and you helped me fix my phone!
This worked out great!!!! After months trying to get that nasty little piece, I came across this video, so HUGE thank you!
@@alejandraredmond2362 you’re welcome so glad it was easy and worked for you.
You are awesomeeeee man. Its 1 am here and I got this issue I was making my plan to visit mobile shop tomorrow to get this fixed. I came across your video and it's done in less than 10 seconds lol. Thanks a lot for this video
Omg! It worked, thank you so much! So simple yet so efficient, and takes seconds! I’ve tried so many stuff to remove it but it didnt move, you’re a genius Ma shaa Allah, thank you!
I OWE MY LIFE TO YOU YOU JUST SAVED ME FROM SPENDING LOADS OF MONEY TO GET MY PHONE FIXED
Tysm I was scared that I wouldn’t be able to use my phone ever again this helped like magic
Bro saved my life your the only person who I’ve seen made a tutorial on this
what if you do not have a threading needle are their any alternatives?
@@judeallan threading needle is ideal because of its strength, not to bend, and small tip to get the broken piece in your charger point to move. A safety pin will probably work well, and the right paper clip may get the job done too.
You are absolutely amazing! Your instructions are clear making the task simple. Thank you. My son was border line depressed!
dude this really helped me out man, I had the thing stuck inside for 3 months and ive been using the same charger over and over again until it just couldnt work and i got impatient, thanks man
This was the first one I saw and it works like a charm, my friend is very happy about it!!
You are the bomb. I was about to go but a new iphone and your video literally saved me $1000+ . 👍🏼❤️
That's awesome, glad it worked for you @robborriello7787!
Thank you so much! I just got quoted £25 from my local phone repair shop to remove this. I watched a few videos and tried a few things over the last few days. I watched your video and got it out in about 30 seconds! Saved me £25, thank you! 😊
You're welcome glad it worked!
Your video has helped me a lot. It literally took me 10- 20 seconds to take this out.
Wish I could like the video 10 million times!!!!❤ thank you
I USED A SAFETY PIN AND IT WORKED THANK YOU
Nice, you’re welcome!
A push pin also works super great! Plus a bit easier to hold on to.
Thank you for sharing this method!
Thank you!!! You HAVE to use a sewing needle and not a safety pin. It worked on my first try with the sewing needle. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
THANK YOU MAN, I WAS TOO SCARED OF THAT JAMMING NOISE SO I GOT SOMEONE ELSE TO HELP ME BUT THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Thank you so much! I freaked out thinking I could never charge my phone again. I called a repair place and was told I’d have to pay about $30-$50 just for them to take out the charging tip. So glad I was able to shimmy it out with a sewing needle. Lesson learned to never use a cheap charger again.😭
Amazing video, straight to the point and solved my problem!
Thanks, man! It helped a lot! I was really worried that it would get stuck in there forever, but it didn't, thanks to you!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Dude this video saved me about 200 bucks thank you so much
@@Idontknowwhatiamdoing9 you’re welcome!
Thanks you so much…I’ve been trying so hard to get that thing out for days:))))
Yesterday i was at my Brothers house for Christmas and my phone fell out of my pocket and landed in my drink. i grab a ziplock bag and put some rice in, Put my phone in. Left it in over night. Today Just now i try to plug in my phone and my charger wouldn't go in. So i've been looking around youtube to see what my problem was. I use your trick and it work! I think was the rice BC my charger looks fine. I don't see anything broken. Thanks for the Help!
Nice! Glad to hear it worked :)
This was perfect and took a few seconds - thanks for the tutorial!
Thank you so much! After I saw what you pulled out I knew exactly what to do... I just fixed one iPhone and one iPad!!!! 👍👍
you saved me from buying a entire new phone because my screen is also broken, thanks!
@@Nick.oo72 you’re welcome, if you have anything older than an iPhone x, screen replacements aren’t bad and they are dirt cheap.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU so much! You saved my iPhone 12 and saved me a ton of time, money and hassle before I upgrade. I wish that you had a “thank$” button under your video. 😊
Thanks for the comment glad it worked for you!
How do I get it out of my airpods bc it jammed In there and isn’t coming out
Same principle applies, use a needle/pin and try to work it out if you are unable to grab the broken off piece with something like a set of tweezers
i spent a while looking for ways to save my phone and thanks to you I didn't have to go to a pricey technician or anything!♥
Just tried this, worked perfectly tysm!
Thanks so much! Best video on this issue I’ve seen. I tried tweezers, and a paper clip-no good. The sewing needle was the best option! I did however use tweezers to pull the part out once dislodged. Thanks 🙏🏻
Thank you so much!! I found it stuck in my phone at around 2 am and I had to charge my phone so I found this video and it was definitely better then the other videos I watched lol
Nothing good happens after 2am, except YOU fixing your phone, glad it worked.
Thanks! Leaving on a trip soon! Thought I'd get the iPad loaded with a few movies for the kids, charger wouldn't advance. This was the exact solution I needed!
Thank you so much omg I though It would have to be repaired and I would have been only able to use wireless charging I literally got it in 10 seconds
THANK YOU! I was going crazy trying to figure out what was wrong with my ipad charger port and this was the exact problem I had. Fixed it in 2 seconds once I knew.
Worked first go. Thank you. You saved me a pile of grief and money. 👍

This is exactly what happened to me. The needle solution solved the problem within 10 seconds.
Hi it’s me again lol another kiddo got theirs stuck and thanks to you knew what to do! Awesome awesome job! Thank you!!!
You’re welcome glad this worked for you.
Instructions unclear. Now I have a charger and a needle tip stuck in my charging port.
Can you still short the phone if it is off?
Thanks bro. I just did this and i cant sleep because of this😂. Too easy after i struggle using the hot glue
Let's take a moment to remember all of the perfectly good working devices, that have been lost to glue 💀👼
omg i was about to cry myself to sleep. thank you
In under a minute! Works like a charm, great tips, thanks for the video though❤️❤️
Sweet, thanks for commenting.
I bet this works! I did the same method but I used surgery scissors!! But TYSM! I was so so so stresser
Broo!! It didn't work i try it!! What's the problem please respond..
This dude knows what he’s talking about fr fuck glue or anything else appreciate it.
Best video everrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!! BIG THANKS, FROM MAYRA
Thank u soo much;u show me the very easy way to remove that stuck piece in my phone.it works now🙏🏼🙏🏼
Thank you so much! I was almost going to head to the iphone store... truly a lifesaver!
To your point about this happening mostly with cheaper chargers, would your recommend getting iphone chargers only- another words is there damage to the phone to remove this? (Honestly I've been using the cheap ones for over 10 years, and this is the first time it happened!)
Not all cheap cords are the same, some are better than others. But as a general rule, the actual Apple cords + chargers perform the best and last the longest.
guysss i tried this hack twice in panic and failed both times, i was literally devastated and already thinking about how id tell my parents about how the phone i got less than a year ago was already having issues. i decided to try again not worrying about if id spoil anything in the phone and it worked!!! I'm beyond grateful, my advice to anyone scared to commit to this is just keep poking at it from both sides with a little force it would for sure come out!
OMG I WENT A WHOLE DAY WITHOUT A PHONE UNTIL I FOUND THIS VIDEO THANX SOOOO MUCH
Thank you so so much for this... The guy at the genius bar told me the charger hole was toast and his solution was for me to trade in my "busted" iphone SE max for a brand new iphone 15😆
Thanks , took 5 seconds after messing about for days .
The only technique that worked, THANK YOU!
10000% works omg I was terrified thinking I was gonna forever have to use a fast charging pad 😭😭😭😭
This video was perfect. Thank you so much for posting
I was about to cry but than I saw your vid and it actually worked tysm you saved my mom allot of money
Does anything work other than a sewing needle? Just curious :)
Anything thin and hard, such as metal nails or small screwdrivers should work, I managed to work it out with a fishing hook though. Hope this helped!
Help I'm gonna try this and I can't even tell my parents about this😭
thanks so much this took 20 seconds and fixed my phone
Yooooo this actually works only took 10 seconds or less
Word!
How do you remove that
This video saved my money!
🙏Thank you very much.
Appreciate it 😂 thought I would never charge my phone again
Now, you’re back in “charge”. Glad it worked.
Thank you so so much I had a short panic attack until I watched ur vid❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
thank you gang this took 40 seconds fr
It worked!! Thank you SOOO MUCH!
Love it. You're welcome.
Good Job, Well Done ! I did exactly the same thing and it popped out nicely without damaging the charge port. 😊. Thanks for sharing Toekneefurareoh 👍
Was the 1,000th like! But mainly just wanted to say thank you. Only had access to a bobby-pin but it still worked like a charm. Wife was very thankful!
This was straight to the point and saved my daughters ipad.
Thank you. Saved me from sending it in!
TYSM BROO FINNALY IM NOT PANIC AGAIN
To anyone that doesn't have a sewing needle, use a pin 📌 to pluck it out. If you don't have one then look for any object that has a sharp tip. Hope this helps! ❤
you are an absolute godsend、this just happened to me and i was super stressed about it!
This is the best video for helping people with this, I’m subscribing, without you I could not subscribe, as my phone was at 8% and I could not charge
Happy this worked and got you your phone back, thanks for subscribing
This just happened to me and was freaking out thanks man

LITERALLY A LIFE SAVER…MY KING
Bro tysm I just tried this and it worked in like a minute and the charging port isn’t damaged at all tysm 🙏
