Mt Kenya region was awarded all the "peripheral cabinet dockets ".Education, Defence, Infrastructure, Energy and co-op....and sme, has a combined budget of close to two trillion. All Cabinet dockets given to Mt Kenya region have a budget of less than five hudred billions. We were dumped!!!! Collect and pay tax, just for "others to use and manage"....Wanjinga sisi!!!

The moment mount Kenya is mentioned, it brings about a lot of uneasiness. That is true but so many comments here brand that as tribalism. But when any other region or tribe groups call for some unity it is fine. It is like the central region should not in any way be seen to prosper.
Don't sweat it. It's been this way since the 1980's and we are still here. We beat them back then, we still will do the same now. They take advantage of our goodness and trust and God shows up to remind them that the blood of the innocent does not fall to the ground in vain. Watch and see. Season 3 loading up.

I used to admire Wambugu Ngunjiri, but since he joined Rigathi Gachagua's camp, every thing in him changed, let him say something about how Uhuru Kenyatta rescued his community from 2007 tribal massacre,yet Uhuru was not a president then, also let Wambugu say something about what role Rigathi Gachagua played during that time when the community members were killed in Rift valley like rats....
That the Kikuyu would choose someone like Rigathi over Uhuru and Karua speaks volumes about their dubious values. This guy is trying to justify tribalism which together with endemic corruption is the cancer which has Kenya in ICU.
