Majority of the loans being paid originated from Uhuru's first term and the most powerful dockets in that term were headed by Ruto. Great conversation, thank you SC for your words of wisdom. My view is that it's not that Kenyans don't want to rise up against the corrupt system, it's just that most of the country comprises people who are living from hand to mouth including the so called employed workers, in such a scenario the people would rather wake up and go to work to keep themselves alive, there is no room to for an uprising against the system. The philosophy in play here is to give the majority just enough to eat and they won't rebel against the system. The people who go out to picket and demonstrate are normally jobless Kenyans, those who are too desperate and probably want to loot and sadly don't mind dying in the process. It takes a certain level of wealth to demonstrate peacefully in masses and change the system or a certain level of general desperation to equally demonstrate violently in masses and change the system as well, but when you are stuck somewhere in the middle no change will come through mass action. But, I agree fully, the entire system is rotten, and we are struggling to build around it, so no matter the amount of good intentions that the president has unfortunately the system will fail him if its not changed.
What happened to Ruto’s slogan “Niko na plan”. Kenya needs manager now and not tribal politicians. Anyway as things stand now only the strong will survive.

Exorbitant lawyer charges and utter dishonesty drove Kenyans to cut corners with judiciary.
Looking at the comments is amusing, the honest learned friend who stood in front of cameras several yrs ago and told the media that Weston did not belong to his client the then DP only for the DP confirm months later in deed it's his. These are not honest actors and none of them come with cleans hands so them pontificating to us about graft and how bad the former regime was is quite the stretch.
