The statement from president Ruto on shareholding in his government, could have made sense if he immediately acted on when it was vomited by his deputy, additionally he should be taking of it in every county he visits not in Luo Nyanza counties.

The other perspective is what Ruto insinuated when he said this government is the 2007 expected government except that Ruto is the president... basically Ruto was saying that the world has told Raila that it's not possible for him to ascend to presidency and so Ruto is telling Raila that outside yourself I am your best bet! Under any democracy, the citizens abdicate their right to representation to the elected leaders. And I could also ask her how does Tinubu’s presidency speak to the Yoruba, the Hausa vis-a-vis the Ibo when Lagos was lost to Peter Obi but everything went quiet even though the majority in Lagos is Yoruba/Hausa? Judging from how people in Luo Nyanza reacted after the election (they were moot in case you missed it) I think the region decided liwe liwalo. The people decided to stop dreaming about the presidency and actually work for their own good. I know, I am from the ground and people are just plainly tired. It doesn't have to be Raila, it can be anyone who is willing to work for the good of the people.
If Raila was 10 years younger they would have reacted different. They realized that finally Raila had the backing of "Deep State" but he still failed to ascend to the top of the Hill. He already seemed old & tired in 2022 & fighting an incumbent in 2027 at an advanced age would be an impossible fight! They have accepted their fate & have moved on!!

Herman Manyora and Muga are dancing around the issue of Luos and Ruto. The thing is simple. To the Luos, President Ruto is the Non-Gikuyu candidate they will vote for if Raila is not on the ballot.
Herman, but Ruto has been firing the Kikuyus from government and replacing them with Kelenjins, but not unknowing that this makes Kikuyus even stronger by them adapting to the new political terrain. The President envies the Kikuyus and he has been publicly recorded saying that the best way to deal with the Kikuyu is to first get the power of the government, then deal with them. He said that Kelenjins have issues with the Kikuyus. Experts who have seen Ruto will tell you that he has an inferiority complex when he is compared with uhuru and that is why he is bending way backwards to please the West by sending police to Haiti. Ruto is not aware that the West sees him like any other black man. Ruto lacks self conscienceless and tends to kiss their ***. you who know what!!!!!

I think that's an indictment on the part of the good old professor. It's the same old story 'our politics is tribal', 'Kenyans votes on tribal lines'. What is he bringing to the table? His self declared candidate 'lost' elections last year. And, to give credit to Herman, every election in Kenya is contested and to say someone 'lost elections' in Kenya is to say nothing. I can't accept or believe what Manyora is calling as a secret handshake between Raila and Ruto based on Raila's silence during the Ruto's very successful visit to Luoland! This is a very naive interpretation of what transpired in luoland simply bcoz Manyora seems to think than Governors, other elected leaders and wananchi couldn't have received Ruto in such a heroic way without some kind of agreement between Ruto and Raila! My question is if at all Ruto may have had any kind of handshake with Raila,why was Raila not part of Ruto's Entourage to Luoland? Had there been any secret handshake between Ruto and Raila, could there have been any essence of Ruto again reminding Luos that he helped Raila in 2007/2008 elections to get Prime Minister seat and still go ahead to ask Raila that it's his payback time to also support Ruto? Could have there been any essence of Ruto talking about violent demos and asking Luos to stop those demos so that investors could bring investiments without fearing that demos will destroy their investiments? Ruto knows it's Raila who has been calling for those destructive demos,so had there been any kind of secret handshake between them, then Ruto couldn't have again started to call for Luos to stop those violent demos! On this and many other blind political analyses done by Manyora i simply tell Manyora that it seems he's now past his days of glory as apolitical analyst. It's time he should accept that his political eyes, ears and brains have now reached menopause.
