Watching your video (great editing and script, btw) makes me think that for a Way of the Voice roleplay in Skyrim, you will only kill when there is no way around it: Alduin, Harkon, Miraak (though Hermeus Mora takes that kill) and other essential NPCs that require your final blow. And when you do, you use the Voice. It's an interesting idea.
I have a question: How old are the Greybeards? ; Are they immortal? Reffering to what you explained, that they existed even before Wulfgarth and Tiber Septim, they must be several hundreds of years old. Or do they pass their "cult" over to new generations? (Never heard about "Greybeard Generations") Good and informative video! 👍
they aren’t immortal. I think, the Greybeards are 70-90 years old. Most likely, they are passing on their wisdom to the next generations. :) Thank you so much!🌝
@@TheGaming_Man One more fact, i noticed but forgot to mention: The Greybeard-Order was founded AFTER Jurgen Windcaller's Memorium / 1 Era! Skyrim, as we play it, takes Place in the 4 Era - how long is 1 Era? 1000 Years, maybe? I dont know ; yust that they are Humanoids who are vulnarable and mortal as any other Human is, too.
Although not claimed with certainty, Jurgen is the one who first founded the order. The first Greybeards were chosen along with Jurgen. Later, the wisdom they possessed was passed on to the next Greybeards. Both Ulfric Stormcloak and Balgruuf the Greater would have become Greybeards if their fates had gone differently. Considering that a Nord lives for 70-100 years, they would have died at that age as well, just like the current Greybeards.

They are likely immortal. It just makes the most logical sense.
