That SIRE sounds incredible, and looks great, too ! SIRE, to me, is the best Fender type bass on the market for the money. Even regardless of the price, SIRE is amazing. Their attention do detail like rolled frets, etc.
It's in the descrips page. V = Master Volume PT = Passive Tone PP = Pan Pot/ Pick Up Selector T = Treble TP = Top Mid Knob BM = Bottom Mid Knob B = Bass
@@RamaNatan the lowest price I've seen is about 700 USD. I just found out that the G&L kiloton JB is on sale and it's about the same price as the 5string V3. What do you think? fender player series JB, sire v3 or the G&L Kiloton JB. You gotta help me out man 🤣 I'm really torn rn
I have 1st gen V7 5 string, ash maple, sunburst finish. It is insane. I would like to add 4th bass to my arsenal that consists of Yamaha trbx505, before mentioned Sire and Stagg b300 sb turned into fretless. I would like to add P7, but I cannot decide should I get V3 or another V7 in alder ebony or something else instead ? Will you do demo of V5 5 string when it comes ?
Well the keys for the Sire preamp is to tame the stacked mid knobs! People sometimes get lost in that and sell the bass coz they feel that it’s muddy etc. the other knobs are just typical knobs most basses have in Sire price range like Volume, Passive Tone, Bass, treble, pan pot. But very few of any basses have the stacked mids that I love coz it gives you such a freedom to dial your tone in every room acoustic situation
I have a V3 2nd gen myself, it's my second, the first had a faulty neck and couldn't be adjusted propperly, my second one is great, a 4 string, love the color of your bass bye the way.
The dealer swapped it with another complete bass on my condition that I would take it imediatly to my Luthier to give it a propper setup and that I would get my money back if this one was also faulty. This one was excellent, what I didn't like from the dealer was that they put the faulty bass back on the wall to sell it to someone else, needless to say that I told my dealer that it was the last time I've been there. In the future I'll order my basses on line,bring it to my Luthier and if there's something wrong I'll send it back within 30 days and get another one or a refund.
I cant hear the difference between the V3 vs V7. If any, I have heard in videos the V3 is more punchy... is this true? I wanted the V7 as is the most popular one, but I think the V3 is the way to go and I can invest the difference in gear. What would you recommend? V3 all the way when there is not much money? What strings do you have on your pink V3?
Not that much difference to be honest, but better hardware & various wood combo in V7, but the best value is V3. Original Daddario string on V3, I'm not that fond of the original strings on it, doesn't feel sleek in my hands, but the electronics seem to cover up the bad strings :)
@Omar Sosa I am a very proud v3 owner. The moment I touched it I fell in love and soon ordered the 5-string too. For a lot of genres I prefer its mahogany tones over the v7 - I think it‘s a better studio recording bass than the v7 for many styles even though it‘s cheaper. The slap tones are insane on the v7 though.... it depends what you‘re looking for
If you want to have a lot of options, the V3, if youd like simplicity, the v5. The V5 is passive only, while the V3 has the active preamp, but you can bypass it with the switch and just go full passive no problem
@@RamaNatan I am flabbergasted, the bottom end due to the Humbuckers ist amazing. Totally different tone to my Sire V3. As always, delivery via Thomann Germany quicky as scheduled and AAA condition. 👍🤘🤘

What I love about the V3 is the incredible low end. I live down there.
Yes I have a v3 & v7 they sound Great.
You're a great player and this video helped me enormously to understand what my preamp is capable of! Thanks so much - Subbed!

Because of you a have the v3 thank you for sharing your video's.
Congrats! How is it?
What a great demo. Nice work!

Thanks for the great demo! Care to share what the abbreviations mean in your tone configurations? I'm new to bass and have been inspired by your demo!
It's in the descrips page. V = Master Volume
PT = Passive Tone
PP = Pan Pot/ Pick Up Selector
T = Treble
TP = Top Mid Knob
BM = Bottom Mid Knob
B = Bass
nice sound! however 5st and other strings sounds different, but no issue 1 to 4 strings sounds really nice.

Really useful, terima kasih!

I'm a bit jealous of your color. How did you get this one? :)
Hey an American guy from CA bought this one! I could send one new if you want shipping $300
This video helped a lot!!! Thanx
😁🙏🏿
this is such a great demo! I'm considering to buy either the Sire v3 or the Fender Player series. Which one you reckon I should get? Thanks buddy
How much is the fender? Value for money V3 is tough to beat

I never tried 2 other basses you mentioned, but I know V3! 😁
Which one do you like more v5 or v3?
your playing is so smooth bro, those slides etc sound like you playing a fretless, how do you achieve that? I'm guessing practice
My fav moment was from 4:45-6:00, so groovy!!
loved the riff at 5:43!
Tasty like snacks🔥
Oh yeah
where'd you get that pickguard? does just any standard 5st jazz bass pickguard work? I don't like the black pickguard on the models
From Sire
Rama Nathan thanks, just got an ash v7 in bright metallic red anyways which has a pearl pickguard
Kang itu pick guard nya d ganti ya

actually you could check both videos separately as I play the same song.
I have a V3 2nd gen myself, it's my second, the first had a faulty neck and couldn't be adjusted propperly, my second one is great, a 4 string, love the color of your bass bye the way.
