I tried trial on Scott Bass academy and I lost about 2 hours for nothing and then quit. That was the academy of endless talking and people still pay for that shit...
Frederico Malaman I was introduced to this technique by you in another UA-cam lesson, about 2 years ago. It was something that I had heard before, naturally, but never took the time to learn. After dedicating 30 minutes of my daily practice time to learning this slap-triplet, I am now able to play this lick by muscle memory and have altogether improved my r/hand technique tremendously. Thank you, Frederico for taking the time to share your knowledge with aspiring bass players around the world. God Bless.....
Excellent lesson! I love how you are able to teach a valuable technique without babbling on for fifteen minutes about nothing related to this! Thanks for giving us viewers credit about knowing the essentials well enough to follow along.
Fra 7.340.000 tutorials di didattica del basso, nei quali si parla e non si suona, finalmente un video in cui si suona e non si parla. Ci voleva Federico. Grazie.
Wow. I'm a big fan now!! I love bass and have been playing for a long time, yet I learn so much I was not able to master just by watching your straight-to-the-point videos. You make me happy! I was looking for a Federico Malaman t-shirt today :-). Grazie mille Maestro, molto generoso......
Thanks UA-cam Algorithm… together we’ve seen 100’s of slap-hammer-pop speed technique type tutorial videos and finally! Gracias Federico , sorry I’m 4 years late but we’ll done sir. camera angles layed out logically, and the slow ramp-up of bpm. I just subscribed and I’m hoping at some point you make a series of tutorials, specifically for other advanced slap bass players called “how to make better slap bass tutorials on UA-cam ”… You are helping bass players from all over. If you spoke Spanish or English throughout it wouldn’t get through to as many people, but your silence has called us all together.
I just found out about your channel. Thank you for slowing this down so I can tell what you are doing. It's a very big help, and much appreciated! Watched your vid with The Woot, too. Very cool stuff!
Great player and lesson. There’s more free advice on bass, than gigs WITH good players. ‘Instrumentalism’ is so lopsided now towards tutorials, but well done to this man! Signed: a nobody musician.
I like this concept: no word, just music.
Not always is possible...in this case,yes ;-)
With some bitches would be heaven

You told me more without saying a thing than many of the teachers on here who do nothing but talk. Thanks a bunch

It seems so obvious & simple when it's slowed down like that. At normal speed, it sounds impossible. Great lesson! I can't wait to try this.
Thank you!!!
You are exactly on point. It's awesome
Not a single word has been spoken, and yet I learned more from this video than all those alleged "tutorials" out there...
Thanks!
An extreme common sense approach along with a straightforward demonstration on slapping out triplets. Nice demonstration.
This is just what I needed to get started on triplets. No one else made it this easy. Thank you.

With no words but an example to learn from! You are a blessed teacher. Forge on young man!
Thanks!
Mind blown how simple this actually is.
You got it! ;-)
I hope all bass tutorials are like this bcuz this way its so much easier to learn
Teaching step by step perfectly with no words. i got it. thanks!

This might be the best ‘teaching without talking’ video I’ve seen.
*THAT* was *THE* best "Show Me, Don't Tell Me" bass lesson, probably ever!!
Thank you soooo much!!!

Again, the most tasteful I ever heard. So much melody compared to over basists' slap licks.
Hey Federico
Even a blind man can learn with you! Congratulations

Thx. As explicit as it should be. No need to talk to share. Amazing. Let’s go to work.
I know that almost every good bassist doesn't talk much but does a lot. Thank you
Thanks dude. I'm so gonna work this into my slapping vocabulary.
