The mark of a fine craftsman is to encounter a problem and formulate an acceptable solution. You certainly did that in this case in more than one instance.
Awesome job! When growing up, my neighbor was a cobbler. His son and I were best of friends and I always wondered why he had $$$$. I took for granted the skill involved.... Where are you located?
I don’t like some shoe companies cut corners and use cheap materials to construct their shoes and boots. Then they charge you a premium price for them.

Wow two absolutely awesome videos from the great Oliver the Shoe Man inside a few hours! Thank you for spoiling us, brother!
I just bought a pair of Stingray boats from Texas legacy. At the moment they're stiff but I'll be glad when they soften up.

I loved watching your video. Great Work. They came out Great!
I like when they sow the gemming to the foot bed after they glue it down.
That's always better to do, I usually do that when I have the whole footbed out
Question for you how do you get the shine on the actual skin that’s beat it on the boot restored
I use Angelus exotic cleaner and conditioner then a light coat of Lincoln Neutral shoe polish usually does the trick.
