*Hand sewing instead of the stitcher seems more difficult, especially on your hands! I appreciate the effort! It was cool seeing you turn that pair of stitchdown JK Boots into a goodyear welted pair! Wish I could find cowboy boots that fit 😔 flat foot/ low instep problem, the closest I can get is putting in insoles but then you get toe crowding.

The best way to avoid hydrolysis is to wear your boots often! Never heard of a vibram sole doing this though, so it does seem to indicate inferior materials in the oem soles.
