I rode a Master Olympic for 26 years, almost the same as the one in the video. The location of the scratches on the top tube is also almost the same. However, the parts are Shimano. Because I live in Japan. I'm currently displaying it in my room.

Just a tip, you will get far better results with "PB Blaster" than WD-40 if it is available in your country. It will break any bolt or mechanism loose that is stuck with less risk of breakage. Thank you for the videos

I have a Classic Officina Battaglin with Chorus 12 modern components. I love the steel frame road bikes, the ride quality and handling characteristics they have are incredible. You just point and shoot them through the corners. Thanks for the upload.

Beautiful........but.........speaking as a mechanic many things wrong.
Main ones....Why do complete strip down and not sort out damaged paint job, did one on top tube but two big ones on down tube and many others ? Why weren't parts buffed up, all those scratches on stem etc ? Bars not cleaned before new tape and black with that paint job ? Having too use that much effort on removing old bottom bracket is bad karma on that frame.
Cables left slightly too long for me..............Campag hammer.......Jeezzeee thats a new one on me 😀

Nooooo- so many mistakes in the first 5 minutes ! Pour boiling water over the BB as the thermal expansion will help to unbind the threads. Use the tool to make sure both cups can rotate before fully extracting either one. ALWAYS do the first wash with a brush, using a cloth/sponge will drag dirt particles over your paint/chrome. NEVER use a Scotchbrite pad on any part of a frame !!! I couldn't bear to watch any more, that was awful.
