- The video about the red Colnago Master triggered a small chain reaction among my friends: immediately my friend Jakub contacted me with a wish to improve his blue Master Olympic, which is now one of our most popular videos. And now another friend Jarda has approached me who wants to check and polish his new Colnaga bought on Ebay. And because he's a total perfectionist, he wanted to clean, polish, check bearings, and replace some parts with better ones or at least newer ones.

Video o červeném Colnago Master spustilo mezi mými přáteli takovou malou řetězovou reakci: ihned mě kontaktoval kamarád Jakub s přáním o vylepšení jeho modrého Mastera Olympic, který je nyní jedním z našich nejoblíběnějších videí. A teď mě oslovil další kamarád Jarda, který chce kontrolu a vyleštění jeho nového Colnaga koupeného na Ebay. A protože je totální perfekcionista, chtěl díly a rám vyčistit, vyleštit, zkontrolovat ložiska a vyměnit některé součástky za lepší nebo aspoň novější.

Is that "C" RECORD groupset still available in 'new old stock' ? Very nice bike assembly by the way.
Thank you for the support, sometimes there is something on Ebay at terrible prices. The groupset is more than 20 years old... you can't get that in the store anymore.
That gruppo came out around the time I bought my Japanese equipped / tube set bike and cost more than my entire bike 😳.

At 6:50, can you tell how do you deal with the seatpost grooving being completely polished out? I mean how will the clamp attach to the seatpost? You regroove it with a file od something?
I don't quite understand the question, do you think it's going to slide? It will not , it works on the principle of a wedge.
@@OnRoadVintageBikes appreciate the answer. I wasn’t really sure about that - thought it will slip under the lever of the saddle. I have a few of those campy style seatposts myself, and never polished the grooving part. Thanks, and by the way great content on your chanel, thumbs up :)
