Why do you say your overall thoughts are positive but then title the video “Avoid this watch”? You can find these for $200 all day long. One of Seikos best releases IMO. It’s definitely not fair to quote retail price because no one ever pays retail for a Seiko. At $200 these are killer small watches.

The Doxa is not a response to the recent Tiffany blue craze. Doxa has released watches in that shade of blue for many, many years.

I've got the orange 42mm jdm version with the kanji date wheel. Bought it for $200 on Amazon on a whim. The gold hands work much better on it than this Tiffany dial version. I'm constantly trying to unscrew the crown because every Seiko I've ever had in the past was a screw down crown. The bracelet is ok and I can swap it out with the strap code bracelet or fitted rubber strap from my skx009. All in all I would recommend if you are not going diving but like the look just check around for pricing.

it isn't a value at the suggested MSRP, but I did get this for under 200 plus tax. so it wasn't a bad deal, but a good deal - albeit, not a great deal.

I have the cream? sunburst dial which IMHO looks better than the mint dial, got it for 180 dollars (honestly i think this should be the actual retail price specially that the bracelet is not so good)

I love this color but for some weird reason I dont like it on a dial. I haven't seen one Tiffany dial that I truly liked. That Doxa though is super nice! It would be fantastic with a yellow or orange dial! Its probably a good watch but I just dont like the Seiko 5 range. It feels like a compromise and a cash grab. I have friends who swear by these and they just love them! Hope you have a great week Miguel!

Yeah, this model is very underwhelming. The color feels muted and makes the whole piece look cheap. Definitively one of the worse seiko dials out there. The doxa is godlike though ;)
