Nice! I was tempted to get one of the colourful ones for fun, but I expect people would want to see the black version more. Thanks for sharing and thanks for watching 🙏
@@TopTierTicker Black one is pretty spot on to be honest, I would probably wear that more truth be told. Love the channel, find it very hard to justify watches much above £500
I got the Addiesdive AD2030 Dune, a while ago and I love it. It feels pretty high quality, great bracelet and clasp and I mean the dial is just gorgeous
I love the Lorus field watch, I wear mine a lot. The lume is insane, a real nuclear reaction!! Nice list Kieron. P.S, I'm still enjoying the Bergmann 👍 Cheers my friend.
Just received two Addiesdive watches a few days ago. One being the sand dial shown in the video. Insane quality for the £36 I paid. That first model is very tempting too. It's a shame that the brand name is pretty bad. Hopefully, they will start putting a logo on their dials instead of their brand name like San Martin started doing.
@@TopTierTickermy pagini design has their logo kind of raised off the dial, blue hands (not real heat treated but I doubt even Swiss ones are done that way today) Sapphire exhibition back with a skeletonized PD rotor, and a few blue screws that match the hands. It is an IWC homage with a dial for the date, power Reserve, very hard to find, and month date. I only wear a watch with a bracelet so I had to toss the POS it came with and used an aftermarket bracelet that cost more than the watch that I bought for my sarb 033. Fit perfectly. Almost to IWC Portuguese
It seems that I can still get surprised after wtaching hundreds of hours of budget watch reviews. These addiesdive watches look gorgeous by the way. Will give them a try in the future. Great selection and great video. Thank you.
Been wanting to get into watches for a while now but can't justify spending 500-20k on stuff i like. Glad i found your channel! I'm hoping to start filling boxes with some of your recommendations! I like how you're pointing out the good and bad and not just calling stuff junk or gold, You gained a sub from me!
this Sanda Cartier its a hit! almost every watch channel is talking about it 🤭🤭 A had one of this brand not to long ago and I remember getting impressed with the finishing for the price. so I bought this one cause I love this Cartier style
I think I helped spark the Sanda fun train. I'm a little proud of that one tbh 😁😂 it's a fantastic little watch that's worth every penny. I hope you enjoy it in good health 🙏 thanks for watching, as always.
I bought a Tandorio watch from Ali last month. A sterile model B flieger, with sapphire, screw-down crown, 200m, nh35, 39mm for €45. The curious thing is that the specifications, the shape of the watch, and the price, are identical to the Addiesdive you show in the video. The truth is that once calibrated, I am delighted with the watch, ideal for everyday wear. But I think Chinese brands have very little design and originality. They simply put together components that are manufactured by third parties in large quantities. That's why the prices are so competitive.
Exactly that! They're a collection of components without any real style or substance. But at this kinda price, they are cool to have if on a limited budget.
I really like the Tandario watches, they have much more individual style than other Chinese brands. I just wish they'd release some Quartz watches with quality steel cases and those awesome colored dials ! Automatic watches with a date window are so annoying to constantly set if you have a collection 🫤
I'm a watch collector. I have most of those brands and more like VERSACE, Kenneth Cole, Casio , Pintime , Biden and Forsingning and invicta Bulova ect ect . Over 2 hundred watches. Walmart has decent prices quality watches
This is a solid selection man! I would be proud to add any of these to my collection and they are so good I am not even sure which one to pick! I am a sucker for Lorus but Casio and Addiesdive really bring a lot of value to the table. Another brand you need to investigate is Q&Q. Super cheap but made by Citizen and the value is insane. Have a great one Kieran!
Great video & great selection on watches. Too bad Lorus is not sold here in the USA. I bought the Alba titanium version on eBay. From a dealer in Japan.
Indeed! They seem to have different brands for different regions. I checked US ebay earlier, and you can find the Lorus for a decent price. It does come from the UK, but it's cheap enough. Thanks for watching 🙏🙏
I have that Lorus Lumibrite in my collection with a green NATO strap and love to wear it... I also have the Casio Duro with a Pepsi NATO strap to match.
I have several St Martin only for their quality. Most of their watches are clone from other expensive brands ,great 10 inexpensive watches, my favorite of all is lumibrite from Lor.. thank you, my friend, all away from St George Utah until next time..
I have an ALBA titanium field watch; it's the Asian cousin to Lorus. Made by Seiko for the Asian market. Nice little watch and light as a feather. Not as much lume as the Lorus, but the titanium makes it very wearable.
0:45 : I own this watch. But the 'sterile' version with the steel bracelet. This Flieger A model is sturdy pure minimalistic functionality dating back a full century. It tells you time and date. Not the moon cycles or the weather in Moscow. I like it. A lot.
Check out the Tandorio field watch, comes in either 36 or 39 mil with a nh35 and Safire for less then $50. 200 meter water resistant and very khaki like. I don’t have one yet but I’m thinking of pulling the trigger
Would love to know lug to lug length on the Addiesdive MY-H2 - . 39 mm is at the upper end of workable case size for me. If the lugs are short it would work. If the total lug to lug length exceeds 44 mm I would probably pass. Thanks for anyone that can anwer.
I know I'm probably in the minority but I tend to steer clear from Alix I would sooner save a bit more money and look at micro brands, so Casio, Lorus and Bergmann would be my picks but you made some really good choices.
They're great... In moderation. I agree that the microbrands and big brands are better. But, it's an interesting part of the market. Especially if you can find some original design pieces
Addiesdive MY-H2 Lorus Lumibrite RJ655AX9 Casio MRW-200H Addiesdive AD2030 Casio AE1200 & AE1300 Casio MTD-1053 are in my boxes watches from sometime next to my Omega Seiko's Bulova's and Tissot happy times 😀
Love your video featuring value for money watches, at affordable prices. I have ‘4’ watches you featured here: Casio Royale, Casio MRW-200H, 2 Alba - Lorus equivalent selling in Asia market owned by Seiko (about 38mm white dial titanium 100m WR and same size older kanji date black dial titanium 200m WR with fantastic lume). Will check out the others too. Thank you. Have a great weekend.
I have the Addisdive AD2030 (the sand looking dial) Its such a fantastic grab and go watch. Good looking, comfortable, and very accurate with the VK movement. Its for sure one of my top 5 most worn watches.
Fantastic review! You have a talent in handpicking gems for us without it costing us an arm and a leg. Actually, thanks to you, I bought the Sanda tank watch a couple months back now and just love it. Thank you for not being a watch snob and appreciate all types of watches from budget to high end ones. Can't wait for your next video 👍
No chance. I absolutely love affordable watches. It's where the fun is at! The Sanda is one of my favourites. It puts a smile on my face everytime I put it on
I take the MRW-200 and the MTD-1053 over the "Duro" any day of the week - much more original designs, more balanced dimensions and superior bezel action. Casio got the specs and weight distribution on the Duro all wrong. Even on my sizeable 7.5 inch wrist it wobbles like a distressed UFO.
7:15 Imagine this watch exactly the same like already is, but with full lume dial. Daylight the dial color would be something cream yellow, or white (depending on the lume itself), but in the dark it would be awesome! The (dial) maker technically would not have to change anything, except the pigments what goes into the plastic (of the dial).
For $15 I would gladly consider that Sanda. I will not expect much from it while getting the look of a Cartier Tank. Same goes for that Addiesdive that resembles a Grand Seiko Snowflake.
6:50 "Now the supplied strap on this watch must've taken a couple of blue pills, because, my god... it's stiff." That made me actually laugh out loud. 🤣🤣🤣
Followed many reviews on youtube I bought my first and only aliexpress watch, AD2030…After two hours wearing it at home, my wrist was covered in rash and puncture wounds…back case of this watch is literally sandpaper, lugs are sharp and pointy and bracelet is medieval torturing device…. You need to have hairless tough lizard skin to manage to wear this watch without being injured
That's a strange one. My wrist is rather hairy and didn't have such problems. I did notice a couple of hairs being knicked occasionally... But that about it. Thanks for sharing your experiences regardless 🙏
The Lorus watch here is around $95 U.S. It would be cheaper, given the exchange rate, to buy it at the approx. $40 Euro price at your link and have it shipped to the US. The exchange rate today (May 28) is 1.09 usd to 1 euro. So it makes no sense that it would cost more that twice as much at Amazon US.
I have a purple/yellow Casio MW, bit of a summer fun watch. Don't wear very often but when I do it always impresses me!
Nice! I was tempted to get one of the colourful ones for fun, but I expect people would want to see the black version more. Thanks for sharing and thanks for watching 🙏
