60 Minute Yoga Conditioning for your Upper Body

  • This is a 60 minute yoga conditioning class for your upper body. Toning and strengthening for your shoulders, arms and abdominal core. Class moves at an accessible pace focussing on proper alignment and engagement to build your strength safely and with awareness in these parts of your body.The only prop you might like to have for the start of class is a yoga block or a large tissue box (optional). Class is challenging without being too sweaty ;-) and includes some satisfying rest stops along the way to stretch out. Expect some creative and challenging moves, keep breathing and enjoy!
    Ralphie is back on his mat too... helping me to balance in this class ;-)

    So much awesomeness! I'm 48 and have been practicing yoga for several years but just recently have felt my upper body strength dwindling. I think I will do this on a very regular basis. I'll have to double check to see if there are more upper body classes.

      Thank you so much Karen! I hear you! I’ve always had strong upper body strength and I think I’ve noticed this dwindling too! About the same age! So important to keep our strength.     Have to confess to my Peacock being a little bit shaky, after your most excellent & thoughtful lesson! & Ralphie was on stage again, more often than other times! ❤️😃- kust hope the clutter at the beginning meant your well-earned dinner was prepared back there!     So now I have noodle arm syndrome. What an amazing class, Fiona. Loved the balance of back and arm toning. And my table tops are definitely earthquake variety but loved the tri exercise.

    How do you do it? Another amazing class. It’s a testament to your instruction that I can rely almost entirely on the audio (I sometimes look up to see whether Ralphie has appeared!). The sidearm seated press-up towards the end was something I struggled with; it felt like I had no strength.

      Oh thank you so much! I do lots of different classes and poach moves :-) Ralphie was there helping me balance in this one :-) the side arm seated press ups great for obliques and biceps.... a pilates special 🙏 ralphie managed to turn green today... rolled in the plant based weed killer. He was green top to toenail! So he was washed today! Hope you’re keeping well :-)

      @@TwoBirdsYoga Mine too, I use massive wooden blocks, they stay where they're placed during practice, & then you teach I'm to lift & hold onto these...#phew
