- Hello friends! :) In this video I'll be sharing my opinions on what colors suit these celebrities but honestly they are all so gorgeous and would look good in anything! It is always fun to pretend and play dress up especially as a stylist to the stars! Hi Maria! I wanted to thank you for introducing me to color analysis! I learned so much about what colors look good on me! Last week I was at the hair salon and told my hair stylist about this whole color theory and she immediately took out some kind of cardboard which was a bright reflecting silver on the one site and a reflecting gold on the other site. We tested it on me and the gold looked so much better on me. Now based on that knowledge we decided to go for a warmer blond (after years of me trying to achieve a cool toned ashy blonde but never being happy with it). Let me tell you , I love my new hair color so much. Why didn't I know about color analysis before 😅

@@GentleWhisperingASMR Hi Maria. I know this is an old video, but I wanted to make a suggestion to remedy the frayed swatches.
The fabric or craft stores have this iron-on adhesive tape for hemlines.
You just align it on the back of the sheet of fabric, leaving just enough room to allow it to fold over the tape, then simply press a cool-medium heated iron for about 15 seconds, and it's done!
I hope you see this, but also hope you do more of the people in this book or in the magazines.

I think it would be an awesome idea to do a facial analysis of the features of some of these people’s portraits! Like describing their eye shape and nose and prominent features while tracing the photo - I think that would be sooo relaxing

I appreciate how respectful and kind Maria is in her interactions with the images. I feel like if any of the subjects stumbled across this video they would find it very uplifting. I can only imagine how many times they have listened to themselves being picked apart... everyone should be lucky enough to have someone appreciate their unique qualities like Maria did for them.
When.Maria caressed the face pictures just delicately as if she was touching their actual face I found it so tingly oml 💖💖🌟✨✨

Maria. I did image consulting for many years which included color analysis. Angelina is definitely an autumn. You are very good and natural at this!! Another thing that has something to do with colors is honestly their personality. I found through the years that people with a strong personality can handle black and red, even though it may not be within their season. Winters are cool with clear tones. High contrast. They can do light and dark - black and whites together. Summer is cool soft tones and muted. Springs can do the warm clear tones ie salmon, turquoise yellow And even bright saturated colors. There are universal colors as well. A soft coral/salmon tone looks good on many people. Soft teal can also work with many.

I've always struggled with the gold vs. silver test. I feel like they both look equally good depending on what you like - some people like the contrast, some people like that it blends in a little more.

Undertones! He looked yellow because of the photo lights and bronzer probably, but undertones stay the same
I know right? I feel like it's because of the color of your soul or something lol.
It's tricky when people get sun exposure and develop a tan. Same with Angelina, but she's wearing bronzer (but still cool toned). Also, some people are extremely warm or extremely cool, while others lie closer to neutral. It's more difficult to determine with those who don't fit either extreme, but even the nearly neutral folks lean slightly warm or cool.
I return to this video so many times for one specific reason: Prince. For some reason when you stop and caress the page, I get MAJOR tingles. Just the way you talk in that little time frame gets me every time. RIP Prince. Love you Maria!!💜

She looks good in jewel tones: emerald, ruby, deep purple and royal blue. Because of her dark hair and bluish grey eyes I would see her as perhaps a neutral winter? I do think her bronzer is what gives her the yellow skin tone. Pastels wash her out.

Something about your simple instructional videos like this....the cooking ones, towel folding, bag folding, etc put me in a trance. After a few minutes of watching I swear my eyes roll back, my body feels like jello and I can’t speak. Soooo relaxing. Thank you!
I'm just at the beginning where she's explaining the color theory etc.. Omg I LOVE when she softly speaks, clearly, no TOO gentle whispering lol, no unintelligible or horrendous for my misophonia wet mouth sounds.. That style of speaking is the best most relaxing to me, really lulls me in.. Makes me concentrates on the subject but then allows me to not over think or obsess over anything else..

East Asian because we here in South Asia have more brown/pale brown/tanned skin.
@@MrRadiantMan south and south-east asians still commonly have yellow, olive or golden undertones even though they have generally darker complexions! It's not about how dark your skin is, it's about the cast and underlying tones. You might not be able to tell from just looking at your skin but it makes sense when comparing to people of different tones. People of African descent can also have golden-toned skin. Although skin shade varies across the whole of Asia (yes, including South Asia), it is most common to have this yellow/olive undertone if you ethnically are from there. While most people assume asians have warm-toned skin because of this yellow colouring, it can also be cool-toned too! I'm south-east asian descent btw!

Angelina has an olive skin tone (I do too) and it can be a bit hard to figure out what goes best with it cause we tend to have both neutral and warm tones and we're the only skin color that has green undertones. If you have olive skin and also sensitive easily irritable skin you're in for a fun ride cause you ALSO get red in there. It can be an asset cause some colors from all pallets will work for you but it can also be a hassle, I for instance can never find a red that suits me which sucks cause I love red lipstick.

@Lipa Hvoinaya that is generally the version of red I can best get away with, but I've made my peace with the fact that as much as I love red on others I generally don't love it on me. There's a lot of other colors that look good on me so I'm not too pressed. 😅😇🥰
