I love the actual color analysis parts of this video, but whenever you were just tracing the face and commenting on the person beforehand gave me so many tingles every single time! Thank you for this video, Maria. Color analysis is one of my favorite subjects for ASMR! I've had a anxiety filled day so far and so I am so grateful that this was uploaded right in the middle of it. It gave me something great to watch while I enjoy my iced coffee and just allow myself a chance to pause for a bit 💗
Personal opinion: I think Obama is actually so warm that he ends up looking better in cooler colors because they tone him down, and that’s possibly why it was confusing to color match him and find his season. Seasons can be a nice guideline, but you’re always going to find outliers who don’t quite fit the mold or general rules, and I think Obama is one of them.
Omg, you have to dedicate a whole video to face tracing only, with this album! When you ran over everyone’s features with your nails I got craaazy tingles and I’m sure many more did😍
The Obama outline tracing is the first time in a while I’ve felt the asmr tingle. I’m also pleasantly surprised at the comments here being pretty civil since people online get crazy at even the gentlest political commentary.

I work for a company that does virtual color analysis, you were right about Julia Roberts! She’s a Soft Autumn. Don’t forget to take natural hair color into consideration- bc her natural hair color is lighter brown, her features naturally lean on the softer side. She does best in medium saturated earth tones. Anything too deep or bold will overpower her. Makeup and hair dye always make it tricky!

You have to learn to put your personal opinions and feelings about a color aside and to recognize how a color truly harmonizes with your features, or works against them. You want people to see YOU and your features first when they look at you, not the color you’re wearing. Most people assume black and jewel tones look best on them, when in reality the majority of people are overpowered by these colors. It’s really interesting (to me, at least!)
@@oblii5590 Also, there’s several different signs to look for when comparing colors (like Maria mentioned)… colors that don’t work for you will make your skin appear shadowy or your eye color look more dull. Colors that do work will even out your skin tone and let your eyes pop instead of washing them out. You will look too yellow or sallow if a color is too warm or cool for you, etc. There’s definitely truth to it! You just have to know what to look for and learn to look at the natural depth/brightness of your features through unbiased eyes
I love the heartfelt way that you thanked the celebrities that mean a lot to you, I remember being so touched by your kind words about Jim Carey in a previous colour analysis video and felt the exact same way as you were thanking Obama in this one 💗 I also got so emotional when Kobe's photograph came up - a beautiful video thank you!

I have quite bad ADHD and I find many things daily quite over stimulating, especially sound. Maria’s ASMR really helps me throughout the day to day. So grateful ❤
Me too! I have ADHD,,and chronic migraines,, and also high anxiety. I can’t tolerate loud noise, or crowds. Her voice is so relaxing!! And I love her slow, light hand movements! 💤
Asmr sadly has been overwhelming for me with my adhd, I can spend the whole night just trying to find a trigger I want to sleep to recently repeating words and phrases annoy me like “ just relax” x15 it’s like omg NEXT
@@MissBubbakushPerhaps have a look into fast paced ASMR (it’s a thing!). Depending on how I’m feeling, the fast paced stuff can be more relaxing if anxiety is high/ADHD is particularly bad. Hope you find something to help you get a good night’s sleep and relax more easily soon.

I’ve watched Maria for 11 maybe 12 years. I remember because I first found the whispering community when I was pregnant with my first daughter - Wow!😮 These color analyses are my new favorites videos! Never thought anything could top the old school, lowfi towel folding, but she continues to make the best videos. Always thankful for this channel 🙏🏻😌

These color analysis videos are not only relaxing, but they help me with my painting skills as well. I’ve been studying color theory on my own as a self taught artist, and I always like to have these on in the background as I paint. 🥰
I think Obama is either a True Winter or a Bright Winter, but I'm leaning more toward Bright Winter with a toe dipped into Bright Spring, since he looks good in both silver and gold, and some warm tones look nice on him. The blue you loved on him and the black were my favorite colors on him, which is why I'm fairly confident in saying he's a Winter! He had a lovely contrast between his features which is why he can pull off those highly saturated colors.
As someone who has a short attention span, a video of you just going through the book and talking about who you love and highlights, would be literally amazing! I love the colour analysis videos, I will watch the whole thing every time ! Everything you do is amazing, and I do love that you stick to some of the old techniques of Asmr, It feels like a comfort space where I know I’m getting quality content always!

For Obama, brightness seems to be the most important consideration, more than warm or cool. Interesting because we never get to see him in bright colors other than his shirt in this picture. It would be interesting to compare a selection of warm brights vs. cool brights on him.

I think we all stopped at stared at that freckled faced beauty. My sister has those same freckles and hates them and I always loved them so when we were cruel children and called each other names I made fun of her freckles but in truth I wanted them. And God punished me as I got older and threw some freckles on my face hehhehhehe and I loved them. But watching Maria pause and stare liked I did freaked me out a little lol. It was awesome!!!

Same! For me it’s about people focussing on stuff. I think that might also be the reason why I like all those “my … tries ASMR for the first time” vids because you can tell that they are trying and focussing. Idk if that’s what you meant though :)
Choosing/thinking was my first ASMR trigger that I can remember. I used to play with a younger neighbour when I was like 7 years old, and I loved when she concentrated hard on choosing clothes for dolls or sth like that because I got so many tingles from it

First off, love these videos. The tapping and tracing is beautiful and you just show your genuine and kind soul as you describe each person. Second, I love that every time you added a color next to a face, my auto brightness feature on my phone would change. It was really neat.

I think we all stopped at stared at that freckled faced beauty. My sister has those same freckles and hates them and I always loved them so when we were cruel children and called each other names I made fun of her freckles but in truth I wanted them. And God punished me as I got older and threw some freckles on my face hehhehhehe and I loved them. But watching Maria pause and stare liked I did freaked me out a little lol. It was awesome!!!

Choosing/thinking was my first ASMR trigger that I can remember. I used to play with a younger neighbour when I was like 7 years old, and I loved when she concentrated hard on choosing clothes for dolls or sth like that because I got so many tingles from it

You remind everyone you are the Queen of asmr every video! You come up with new and different ways to shovel out tingles because you recognize that asmr isnt about any one thing! Second, I love that every time you added a color next to a face, my auto brightness feature on my phone would change. It was really neat.
