INGREDIENTS:
To make the simple syrup:
3 cups water
1 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
To make the tea:
4 tea bags
5 cups water
3-4 additional cups of water to add to the mix white mixing together please adjust amounts of water to your preference depending on how strong you want it

I’ve never seen the simple syrup trick. We just add the sugar straight into the tea to while it’s still hot. & I like my tea diabetic! Hold the lemons lol
It comes out right when you add the ice to the concentrated tea, you adding water either way...
Add sugar while it's hot. Add a little lemon. Then let it cool in the refrigerator. When you pour hot tea over ice it waters it down. ALWAYS allow tea to get cold before pouring over ice.
Exactly how I make mine. But I think Imma have to try this simple syrup way...just to be a little "fancy" with it!😄😄😄
I do my sweet tea the same way... Sometime I add cherry & almond (winter) or peach or watermelon (summer) to add a bit of pizzazz

This sounds crazy you guys but my mom adds a bit of orange Tang to hers and it’s so so good. In the winter we do tang, cinnamon, some clove , and oh my. It’s my favorite served hot like that around Christmas
