My son boils his water with the sugar in it then adds the tea bags to steep. We use Red Diamond. He makes really good sweet tea. I don't like cooking the tea bags I think it damages the tea leaves. But evidently Si likes his tea. He drinks plenty.

Wish I could drink that much tea, unfortunately the caffeine affects my body, I get weak, cold, shaky, have heart palpitations or chest pain. When I was younger I’d drink 6 cups a day. Only been two years since, idk what changed

My son boils his water with the sugar in it then adds the tea bags to steep. We use Red Diamond. He makes really good sweet tea.
I don't like cooking the tea bags I think it damages the tea leaves.
But evidently Si likes his tea. He drinks plenty.
