I'm having so much fun learning all these new foods and recipes. IM American but live in Miami we get all the carribbean goods and food here! I try this recipe but it didn't raise when I was frying. I stopped and add some baking powder. I didn't see it was included in the recipe.
if it didn't raise with the yeast then the yeast must have been old

Green seasoning is a mixture of culantro,garlic,scallions and peppers. I added tamarind seeds to the tamarind.
