Hiii Ria..hope all is well. I have to say, this is my only recipe I use. It the best one I have ever tried. It's always gone before I can finish frying..will post the pic on your fb.
Aunty reminds me of my mom’s cooking techniques! Phlourie is my fav comfort food. Good luck to the mom who’s going to try this and make a living. Kudos to her and thanks for sharing and helping 🙏
Interesting to see Trinidadian version of Pholourie. We are 4th generation Indians in East Africa. We use channa (Besan) flour. We add bhaji in Pholourie. Our chutney is tomatoes cucumber with green Dhania. Sometimes there is Tamarind chutney. Pholourie is Bhajia in East Africa. Amazing to see the Indian snacks common across the oceans. Sita Ram.
Made with love indeed... I'm definitely going to try this...but I'll tell my kids about it after 'the 2hours of the mixture rising' because if i tell them before that...hmmm... every minute they'll ask if its ready yet.. lol

Hi Ria,I love how you speaks. Did auntie use flour no dall I am from Guyana but we use grind dall cant wait to tray keep up the good work love it..🇬🇾🇵🇪🙏
Hi Rai❤ Oh boy! Auntie is a treasure 💖 Watching this is making me hungry! One day I make it! I could feel the love and caring in the recipe 💕 I save this one for sure!!❤ Thanks to u and Auntie!!
Hi I tried your previous video n it came out good but I want to try Aunty Jang's recipe. How much water did you end up using ? I notice yuh didn't use baking powder not salt in this recipe
Hi Ria, Aunty jang pholourie came out perfect she really has the technique in making those lovely round pholouries, everything looks yum, thanks for sharing your vlog , stay safe and blessed.
Good morning sis Ria,long time boi! Busy like a bee guuurrrllll. I hope all is well with you and family. Love the phoulories, they look crisp on the outside but soft on the inside. Have a blessed day! Woke up to food this early morning in England 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Stay safe ya'll 🙏🏽❤🙏🏽
Hi Carla! I posted earlier this week. Did you see the stew beef? Thanks, while hot the pholourie and saheena are crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The best way to eat them!’ I feel like making some again today just thinking about it!! Have a wonderful weekend. 😀🥰😋
@@CookingWithRia hi my dear, it's so good to see you again. Yes I've not gone to that one yet. I will soon, have a great weekend. I have to try making it. ❤🙏🏽❤
How much cups is 2 &1/2 lbs of flour? Thanks. Best recipe. Seems that there's a difference in this recipe from the first one shared example less yeast etc. How many balls did this recipe yield? Thanks. Love your videos as usual. Aunty Jang looks so cool.
@@lindyannfarrier8463 Yup. No baking powder and less yeast etc used in this recipe. Normally what I do with the original recipe is directly double, triple or quadruple etc. My batter usually triples in size in one hour but if I don't use it...it drops. So it's strange about the 2 hour waiting time. And I use fremipan instant yeast.
I never knew phoulorie recipe doesn’t include split pease. That is a main ingredient . It’s an Indian national dish that they brought to the Caribbean and that’s how we learn to make it I am a Guyanese and flour phoulorie wouldn’t sell we would say it doesn’t taste like phoulorie.
This recipe of phulauri is also new to me. I myself make phulauri from besan (chickpea flour) or from ground yellow peas. Any how phulauri bina chutney kaise bani by the late Sundar Popo.
I am looking for your gluten free pholourie recipe.. i had it saved but i got a new phone.. I'm not seeing it on your channel anymore.. can you please post it again?

nice to see you Aunty Jang
Hi Ria, a few of my pholourie keeps popping, I didn’t use a machine to mix just hand, is it that I’m not mixing enough?
Too much yeast or baking powder. Decrease and you should be ok.
@@CookingWithRia thank you, I didn’t use baking powder so I’ll use less yeast and have a try again. Thank you. Love the video, very helpful 🙏🏼
Auntie Jang is a boss!
