Main point: the fundamental of an O-Linemen's strike is to keep the thumbs in line with the shoulder. If the tool you are using keeps the integrity of that fundamental, you are all good. But if it doesn't, find a new tool or use it so that thumbs are in line with shoulder.

Hey, so I really struggle on when I’m pulling and wheeling through I end up missing the line back or he cuts, how would I work on that. I don’t wanna break down in the middle of the whole and mess up the play. Is there drills or something I can do?

Yes, set up cones that establish your path on pulls and traps. Rep out your step progression. Make sure to stress the fact in keeping your eyes up. Have someone give you a fast flowing LB look. Focus on good stance, footwork, and then hand placement when it's time to engage the LB. Make sure to exaggerate, for the sake of game like situations, the length of time you hold your block on that LB or DE, if it's a trap block. In a pull, make sure to keep yourself square to the line of scrimmage when you contact the LB as best you can. That gives the Back a better opportunity to make more positive yards.
