My dad does not use these techniques he is old school lol he uses a tractor tire and a medical ball and I very rarely see his qb or rb get hit. He excellent at teaching hand placement and positioning.
How tf you think they made it to the nfl 😂 you realize if those lineman were in highshool like these kids they’d be dominant top recruits but in the NFL everybody is good so if you’re not the best or one of you’re not going to look as good as others.
Due to us coming off of the pandemic, parents are reluctant to commit to youth football for now. My son's 11U team are at 16 players at this time. My son is one of the taller kids sitting at 5'7" and he has a wide frame. He usually plays wide receiver and strong safety but due to the shortage he has to do what the team needs him to do which is play offensive tackle and defensive end. Whoooooo! I know, it's a mouth full. What I am saying is that I had to subscribe to your channel. Your drills and breakdown of techniques are awesome. Thanks for the tutorial. I only played RB/LB so my knowledge of the trenches are 🤏🏽. Great channel 🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾
im a o lineman but i mainly play d end in middle school and i wished i could go to your school when i hit highschool and just make myself ten times better but i cant cause you need to pay to go there
We all had dreams to play at IMG but you gon realize you gotta work with what you got. Work harder than everyone else and I promise your time will come no matter where you go.
I got a question for you would you rather go to IMG be the third string and be a good player but not get noticed or would you play at your highschool and be a starter and get noticed it matters how good you are not the school even though IMG is very good
You gotta work hard and once you think you worked hard enough work twice as hard. I signed to a P5 school this winter on a full ride after 4 years in a normal public school program. Don’t need to go to IMG to be great.
My 12 year old is telling me he wants to be a guard and I have no clue how to get him going. I played some years in high school and tried as a walk on in college but I was a defensive end. This type of video is the stuff I need to help him. Thanks coach!
Thank you for this video coach. I’m a youth football coach and I’m teaching one of my younger coaches. To coach Offensive line. This was very informative and I love your techniques. I am now following you please check out Inglewood Chargers, youth football of Southern California, or a top-notch program and we send most of our kids to St john bosco, Gardena, Serra, and of course, Inglewood high school you’ll notice all three high schools are quite successful
Finishing with your hands up above your head isn’t coached everywhere. I can see it helps emphasize the driving nature of a block but it’s a little odd at first.
I’m 12 btw. I’m 5’11”-6’0”, weight 215 with low body fat, run a 6.2, bench 250, squat 290, press 200. I got 34 sacks, 29 TFLs, 102 tackles, 2 INTs, 1 TD, 6 safeties, 30 FF and 11 FRs. If I keep up the grind do u think I can make it to the NFL as a D-Lineman. I play D-End and 3 Tech DT. I also play RT and Center
I’m 14. 6’0, weight 230 with low body fat I can’t really say all the same bc I quit the sport for a while trying out other things but I came back and I like it
@@machinejam244 state for me, it's a good experience since you're out there, and it's competitive. So varsity could take care of that, I'd say highschool or your local team.
Thank you for this video. I’ve been getting a Revelation from God over the past few days. Notice that these athletes do the same drives over and over again, to perfect the techniques. In Karate we did the same. But for some reason the World’s Doctrine of US reading and perfecting Our Salvation through the Bible, is somehow repetitive and foolish.
These are common sense drills nothing really impressive about this instruction.. anybody with OLine experience should be able to teach this. Stance and starts is elementary stuff..fit and finish...feet accelerate on contact and you work to get extension as you work down the bag..it all has to work in conjunction

he was probably really fat and put muscle over it or he just on something cuz ain’t no way 😂
Shredded 🤔🤔🤔
bros shoulders are a fucking football field 💀
Respect the Coach on these quick basic drills for the OL. It amazes me how many youth and high school OL still do not utilize these fundamentals.
That’s true!

As much as I like old school, they couldn't hang in today's game.
Have your dad make a video then
I’m trying to get better at offense of line man and this will help me
No it wont

Why? Lol, covid isn’t a serious threat!

From what I can tell, 1 up is right, 1 down is left.
Actually helped thanks
That's a good coach. Thanks for the vid
What do you mean by one down and two down
right and left foot stepping with one first

He coaches for The Colorado Buffs with Coach Prime now. Congratulations💯
What does one up and one down refer too?
1 up = to the right. 1 down = to the left

You shouldn’t be benching or squaring anything at 12

1 gap to left (down) or right (up)
Thank you cuzy coach dont tell us this we just practice plays
Will be using this video for my kiddo 💪🏾

Mike McGlinchy needs to watch this video
Imagine this guy touching u with his pinky and u fly 30 yards
Im not even a lineman but i lost in one

It really didnt
Backs ain't flat coach
Yk that coach bulking I bet if he played football he’s be call the tank
Is the coach really that BIG and swole or did somebody inflate him with air or fill him up with oil?
Gigga chad
Poor balance, you need to teach them not to lean or rock forward, bull rush destroys them!
A bull rush? On run blocking? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I hate watching this I am as fast as all the wr and rb but coaches triping on me
What kind of ball are you using? Doesn’t seem like a medicine ball.
It’s just a different type of medicine ball, it’s less dense and has a padded surface so it’s better for drills like this
do any of these kids know how to read tho
Don’t watch this in 2x speed
