Hi mates! Today I am going to deal with the gate. I am about to remove the old one and make a new one. This gate is not good for me at all. It is quite difficult to get inside the garage in wintertime. Winter is coming, so I need to make something good, warm, and interesting. Stay with me, everything will be cool as always!

Awesome Idea with the central locking device! Does it still run off of 12 volt or do you use a transformer of some kind? I love your camera work!
What a great idea. I'm definitely going to do this on a gate or future door. Brilliant idea. Also I'd have a safety battery incase the power goes out. A back up battery
Maybe mount remote on the inside of the door. Incase of a fire, you don't want to be looking for the remote when you can't see or breath.
Better yet, I bet that you can come up with a clever mechanism with a push bar that will mechanically override the electric locks in an emergency.

Awesome idea, that's a solid door. What if you lose power, then you can't get in, or lock when you leave the shop for that matter.

What are you going to do if there is no longer a power supply for the locks? How would you get into your shop? I love your idea but would want a backup device that I could get into the shop just in case some thing was to fail. Cool design though!

Cool door as long as batteries don't die or your shop loses power. My WiFi smart door locks do run on batteries but they also have a key I keep in my wallet. BTY locks don't keep criminals out, they only keep honest people honest. If criminals want in, they will get in.
